Need to dispose of some old prescriptions or medicines well this location has a secured Dropbox. You must walk in to drop them off yourself. No need to remove the label or anything. This was convenient and proper way to get rid of expired or prescriptions no longer needed. Additionally the store has had a facelift. It's been awhile since I'd been inside. The CVS minute clinic is right in front of the Pharmacy and plenty of space. The store has more lighting as well. The layout is improved. read more

Rude tech giving wrong information about meds. EXTREMELY rude pharmacist actually hung up on me when I asked his name. Twice! They don't answer the phone, you can only leave a message and hope they call you back. It took 10 days and five messages for me to get a callback. Go literally ANYWHERE else! read more

My latest experience here was very positive. The only negative was my Covid test! I had been under the weather for a bit that got increasingly worse, and while it seems the Covid days could be behind us, good ol' Missouri has other plans.. With a baby on the way any day and not wanting to risk her safety, I thought to get checked. It's a whole lot easier and faster to do these days, and they have rapid tests for free. My technician was so nice, and so understanding with some of my frustrations related to the basically an app malfunction that had me having to redo my whole appointment on my phone on the fly. Inside, I got some essentials to treat how I was feeling and they have a nice MinuteClinic in here as well. I had a quick visit with them and appreciate having this kind of service around. I have had some rough experiences here where they messed up billing for my wife's flu test and some other issues, so I'm not sure it's always the best, but it sure was during a pretty stressful period when I needed help, and particularly from some caring and friendly staff members. read more

The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. The pharmacy is truly messed up. Got a text that my prescription was ready. Got there and it wasn't ready but they said come back in 15 minutes. Went back and a new person said the order wasn't in yet. Told me to come back in two hours. If it isn't ready then, there'll be a part 2 to this review. As it is now, I'm never using this pharmacy again read more

Every time I have called this pharmacy I have been on hold for over 20 minutes. Then I drive up there and there are multiple pharmacists working, no customers, and they just aren't answering. I would recommend any other pharmacy and am about to switch to Walgreens across the street. read more

This is the worst cvs pharmacy ever!!!! They can not get one thing right!!!!! Mess up your scripts, charge you more than what you actually owe. Terrible customer service. You call ahead with the information and they still get it wrong when you arrive and demand you come in because they messed up!!! This is the worst pharmacy ever!!! Do not go here!!! read more

I typically don't mind waiting at this pharmacy because i understand they're short staffed. But they had a gentleman filling in today I believe from the state ave location. I received the message that it would be ready by 1140 and he told me to come back in a couple hours. This is breathing medication for my child and she has pneumonia and needs her meds asap. He was so rude. Im going to transfer everything to do a different pharmacy. I've been so patient and understanding with their issues, but I'm over it. They even have twice filled her meds wrong. read more

Well, if you're reading this, I'm sure you've read my novel of a saga experience I had last month with our friends at CVS... only feeling this is fair to update as someone in their upper echelons contacted me as I was boarding a plane for my trip... I answered... she introduced herself. I advised I was boarding a plane but would love to chat with her... her reply was to quickly ask if I ultimately received the medication I needed. I confirmed that my meds were received. She then tells me that is all she wanted, nothing more to discuss... BUT... if I needed anything else I could call her after she returned from vacation the following week. WHAT. A. JOKE. CVS - you could afford to re-think your management. Side note: my insurance company gladly found me a new pharmacy that is better priced and much more convenient! Thank goodness! read more

The second station drive-through window which is for drop off only usually doesn't work. They don't let you know that though for the first five minutes you sit there. And they don't bother putting an out of order sign on it either. It doesn't get much better inside though at the register or the pharmacy. read more

They have a drive-through pick up window for their pharmacy but yet there's a sticker in the window saying to come inside for much quicker service. For those of us that are disabled that it's hard for us to walk from the front of the store clear to the back it's awfully inconvenient. read more

Store #8590, 75th & Wornall, KC,MO. This is our neighborhood go-to CVS, typically 1x week for stock items. The floor staff are friendly, but this review will focus on today's (06/01/2022) poor pharmacy service. I contracted COVID over the Memorial Day weekend, had a telehealth visit with my physician on Tuesday and she placed an order for Plaxlovid with this CVS since they have had Plaxlovid available in the past. The CVS app told me it would be ready by 5pm Wednesday. I called this pharmacy (6:30pm) and eventually reached a pharmacist at 7pm. The dosage for a renally-impaired patient is apparently harder to come by and they were waiting for a possible delivery from the Federal dispensary and had no idea of when it might arrive. I work in health care and with the government so I understand the complex logistics, but I'm disappointed CVS did not follow through with any update - especially once the time promised had passed. That information would have given me the option to find another source. The pharmacist was confused about why I'd expect customer-centered service to include updates about delayed availability of medications, and she was insensitive to why I'd be upset even though administration of this medication is time-sensitive. Perhaps it was the end of a long day, and I'm pretty certain this pharmacy is overworked, but this pharmacist is not my favorite person this evening. I'd like to tell this to her in person, but I'm diligent about quarantine precautions... read more

Went to CVS/Pharmacy walked up there forgot my mask when I went in I said you guys have mask available he said sure they're right there three for 499 I'm sure CVS gets mask at a huge discount and can aforward to hand them out to customers also I believe that's price gouging shame on you CVS read more

After waiting in line in the drive through pharmacy, and as a returning customer noticing that the drop off and pick up signs have been removed from the pharmacy area, it appeared that they were either or. Nope they told me I needed to pull around and get on the other line or just come inside, somewhat rude and inconvenient. I was given the excuse about not having a register open, it is something is down at my work I do not give people excuses. I was a witness to at least one other person doing the same thing I did in line and they were told to pull around as well, good thing I have switched to Costco pharmacy, and this was just an emergency pick up.. read more

A newish store with all the standard pharmacy stuff, and a great liquor section to boot. Good prices and lots of selection- get your drink on! read more

I get my prescriptions here monthly and they are very friendly. Since I have the misfortune of having to be on monthly medications it's nice to be greeted by name when I come to pick them up. The Pharmacist, Paul, is not only super friendly but great to look at! He went out of his way to find me a coupon that helped me get my super expensive migraine pills for cheap once I was out of the allotted monthly amount that the insurance would pay for. He saw me picking out se herbal supplements and came over just to make sure what I was picking out wouldn't react with any of my medications. read more

Wine tasting on Friday nights from 5-7! I've heard about it forever but never realized how big of a wine tasting it was until this evening. We sampled around 16 wines at 4 different tables (it's free!) and were able to bring home some inexpensive table wines without having to guess which ones we may like. Added bonus: this CVS carries an impressive selection of NYX makeup (which I love!) and it was all buy 1, get one 50% off! read more

I love this C.V.S. The location is great, right in the heart of Waldo. They have a great team ( very little staff turnovers). The pharmacy is super busy but very friendly and courteous. It's a busy spot and sometimes you end up waiting a bit on line but it's worth the wait because the staff is so professional and friendly. They have wine tastings on Fridays and it gets packed. They've been doing this for many years. This is my go to store for beer and liquor. The prices cant be beat. read more

Very poor customer service from the Minute Clinic nurse practitioner. After signing in and waiting over an hour the NP came out to the waiting area five minutes after the posted closing time and dismissed me because it was after closing time. I stated I just needed a TB test which takes about two minutes. She informed me the paperwork takes a long time. No genuine apology, just her dismissive implication that it was my fault. I am a registered nurse and I have completed that task with paperwork in less than 15 minutes. She obviously had to be someplace else. I arrived almost an hour before closing and signed in using the computer. I had checked the Que board at 5:09 p.m. and it stated I would be seen in 20 minutes, just in time. The next day I went to Walgreens across the street and the total time to complete the test and the paperwork was a mere 12 minutes including some personal conversation with the Walgreens nurse practitioner. Why was I not told the NP would not see me before I waited over an hour. read more
