This CVS is always kept clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I can only give a 4 star rating as this CVS location doesn't keep items in stock on a consistent basis, and I can usually find cheaper prices on some of their items at the Jewel store that's about 2 stoplights away on Route 59 and Caton Farm. read more

20 years ago when I moved to this area I had dealt with almost 10 years of runaround from Walgreens, so I dumped them and went with this new and upcoming company. CVS , and they were happy to wait on you. The prescription wait time was accurate, and filled quickly. Now 20 years later, let's fast forward and CVS is totally become everything I've ever hated about Walgreens. Bloated corporate policies. I drive up today and there's a little bit of a line and I a generic prescription for ibuprofen like 800 mg ibuprofen. She goes two hours. I go seriously? I go: the time you spent talking to the pharmacist now, could be the time you're filling the prescription, in five minutes I'll be driving away. she was : that's not how it works. I go : OK so I'll be back in another hour and a half. But I'm more than likely fully done with this dump, And Walgreens. Its way past time to find somewhere else to get prescription's filled. read more

Disappointed, I have been a client for several years, and service was usually pretty good. I went last week to pick up medication, which I have to take every day, due to unpleasant withdrawal if dose is missing. I was informed, right there by the window, that medication is not available because is on back order. It was Friday afternoon, so I could not contact my doctor to sent script to different pharmacy. I inquired with staff, why was I not informed about medication being not available. Staff, was not really apologetic or empathetic. I got the vibe, we don't have it, you deal with it. They have to realize, that some meds, patients can't just skip the dose. I wish, there was a system to inform clients of medication being not available or on back order, couple days before. read more

GREAT AWESOME LOCATION! Such a convenient spot, right by the Plainfield South, Caton Ridge area. I've been coming to this CVS on Drauden for more than a decade, back since the very first day that they opened. Since that day it's been well kept, clean, stocked, and always have the friendliest staff. Some of them have been around since they opened and they are stellar! I love this location and hope they're around for good. We are getting more homes in the area, and I think eventually the plaza surrounding CVS will become something really soon, so this location has a bright future! As of 1/1/2021 I am required by my husband's work to fill my family's prescriptions here. I started before Christmas and notified CVS who refused to call Walmart where my prescriptions are located and transfer all prescriptions. Instead, they ask me to call each time a prescription when it is due. I have never had a pharmacy transfer make me call for every single subscription once it's due. I now have about 20 plus medications that I will have to one by one call for...ridiculous. You would think they would want my business. When I switched to Walmart 2 years ago, they immediately transferred prescriptions from Walgreens to them which included 6 people total. Walmart almost always answers phone calls on the third ring. This pharmacy, has very restricted hours and even when open, I am transferred to voicemail. This pharmacy says it is open at 7am today online. I called at 8am to get a message that they aren't open until 9am. When I have used this pharmacy before, pickup and drop off are SLOW. I would gladly still drive 3 extra miles to Walmart to get excellent service. read more

Do not use this for your Covid testing I went on June 28And as of today I still have no results the girl didn't even have me do it correctly because I had it done at my doctors which was negative and now I know it's difficult to administer to yourself. I was very concerned when I had to put my test in the metal box which was full with other tests in the extreme heat I'm concerned the heat ruins the test. If I could give this place no stars I would, it's absolutely horrible. I advise people to go anywhere but here. And Joanna the manager is very rude and has an extremely bad attitude. They really should clear the place out and start fresh. I came there looking for a package as as some in store items and received nothing but grumbles, mumbled and attitude from Joanna. How is someone like that allowed to hold any kind of managerial position at all. I personally will never patronize this location again nor will I advise anyone within ear shot to spend any of their hard earned dollars here. Please save yourself the headache and go somewhere where you'll at least receive adequate customer service if not better. Also do not have any of your packages routed to here to pick up because they will steal it. I needed to fill two prescriptions. One for my son and one for me. I just changed jobs and I have no insurance in this grace period Im in until my new insurance kicks in. Instead of turning me away and making me feel worse then I already do, Briana went above and beyond to help and assist me. She really truly brightened up my day and had shown me there are still good people who care about customer service and take their job seriously. That's hard to find and come by nowadays. I received a call from this pharmacy a few days ago telling me I might need to be taking a statin drug. I discuss my prescription needs thoroughly with my doctor, so I was somewhat alarmed. I asked what made this woman think she could suggest drugs for me, and when I got the beginning of a weasel-y answer I asked if she had access to my medical records. She raised her voice and began talking loud and fast over me, telling me that people taking certain drugs usually have need of statins. She didn't ask me if my cholesterol is high or whether I had discussed this issue with my doctor. She obviously had called me to try to sell me on a big money maker of a drug without knowing anything except my current prescriptions. This was an insult to my doctor and to me. When she shouted at me and wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise, I finally shouted at her, "LEAVE ME ALONE!" and hung up on her. I've read a lot about statins and know that in women they are pretty much useless, especially after age 65, and can contribute to dementia and serious muscle problems. Furthermore, the whole lipid hypothesis has been disproven: there is no correlation between cholesterol and heart disease. The liver produces cholesterol and we need it for producing hormones, among other things. If you want to lower cholesterol, stop eating sugar. (See research by Robert Lustig, MD, and others) I have cholesterol in the normal range as long as I adhere to a strict Keto diet, which if she had asked, I would have told the raging pharmacist. I will be taking my prescription business elsewhere after that horrendous unprofessional encounter. I was upset by this phone call, but thinking about it later I have concluded that the woman might have been extremely hormonal or suffering from diabetic rage and stress. Nobody deserves to be treated as I was. I'm their customer (or was) and don't need to be called and verbally abused when they want to use statistics to second guess my doctor. I detest telemarketers, and I certainly don't expect calls from my pharmacist. This was the height of rudeness. read more

I work in a store with the pharmacy yet I choose to keep all my family's medicines through this store because of their exceptional service.
