Dropped off an antibiotic prescription from the vet for a sick dog yesterday (on the vets prescription paper). Pharmacist won't fill without a DEA number. It's an antibiotic for a dog! Now I'm having to sit and wait with no time for resolution timeframe for a truly silly reason. read more

Rude Pharmacy Staff Had an appointment for a vaccination at the CVS pharmacy in GBC, TX. I checked in on time. The older gray hair woman told me to sit down and wait. After waiting for 30 minutes I checked back with her. She said they were very busy and I would have to continue waiting. I sat down and waited another 30 minutes. Once again I asked her how much longer would I have to wait. She said she had no idea. I ended up telling her to cancel my appointment because I had another appointment elsewhere. I have no clue why they have people make appointments and they don't honor them. It was very upsetting and the staff were basically rude and uncaring. I definitely don't recommend the CVS in Gun Barrel City, TX and will go to another pharmacy from now on! read more

Poor customer service by the pharmacy/ pharmacist at this location. Worst I have seen. Tried to transfer my prescriptions and have them filled at this location because my insurance changed. The man with an accent was so terrible and should t be working in his position. He asked for my name and my bird ate then said we will get to you say Wednesday and this was a Monday. I said you don't even know what I need refilled. I had the empty bottles and he said I don't need those. Totally ignorant of my needs. I said Wednesday wasn't going to work because I needed them sooner than that. He started walking away from me and I was like what is going on. He said they were too busy but he would get it on Tuesday but definitely I wasn't getting anything on Monday when I arrived there at 9:30 am. He was just very nasty and matter of fact. I never heard from anyone and on Friday I went up there and they had no record of me ever coming in. I spoke to this guy again and refreshed his memory and how bad he treated me (it would be too long to type) and he never apologized but shrugged his shoulders and said he sees a lot of people every day and he will see what he can do to assist me now. I told him that it was absolutely unprofessional that he treat me this way and he says well which medication do you need right now. I said I need all of them that I asked for on Monday. He said no, but which one do you need right now. I was like who is this guy. I said it again and if he was a real pharmacist he would know that two of the medications can not be taken apart from each other. They have to be taken together. Very concerning that he didn't have any idea and I said I need to take my business elsewhere. He just shrugged his shoulder and walked away as did I at that point. No care in the world that there was a person who needed medical attention through medication and he failed to help that person (me) and failed to provide a service that CVS is founded upon. CVS lost a shopper and a patient customer. Won't be back and I would say his non sense of care is probably being shared to other people who depend on CVS to provide a medical part in their recover or illness. read more

Two items: 1. Twice called in scripts for nausea medication and when my husband went to pick up, CVS stated no refill requested. Yes, I got a pick-up time. 2. I am undergoing chemotherapy and too weak to open the childproof caps. Asked several times for non-childproof caps, got home and CHILDPROOF caps are on medication. So, I have to wait for my husband to get home to take my nausea medication. read more

Im currently writing this review for my Mom. I understand that sometimes it gets busy and prescriptions take some time. But we have been waiting almost a week for a prescription my mom needs for a surgery she has. We've tried calling multiple times and sat on hold for 40+ minutes just to be hung up on. This is absolutely ridiculous. We called the canton store and got through to the pharmacy immediately come to find out the prescription she needs for her surgery is available at the canton store. I find it outrageous that this store can't pick the phone up and call another cvs or send the prescription to them instead. My god and also come to find out they didn't put my coupon on file that I gave them so I won't be getting my prescription at the rate I expected. Multiple times they've been out of her other prescription that keep her blood pressure down and haven't gotten it for weeks. read more

As many prescriptions they fill in a day they do a great job. You might have to wait more than a couple of hours after it is called in but what do you expect them to do, pull and fill yours before all the others? You can call and see if is ready before you get there. I mean really. read more

Horrible. Just horrible... prescriptions are NEVER ready when they should be, the do not EVER follow up with a Dr's office if they do not get a response, wait time in the drive through is typically long (especially with one lane closed for COVID testing only). Sure the staff can be nice once you get their attention, but overall just the most horrific experiences. Three trips later you might get all of your refills. read more

Gun Barrel City CVS has terrible pharmacy service... This is the second time I have been to this pharmacy in a month to pick up a prescription in the drive thru that was not ready. The script was called in by the Doctor at least 2 hours before I arrived. Fortunately, it was not pain MEDs. This is unacceptable... read more

Super rude employee!! First time in the store and I simply put some trash in the "hand/cart wipe" trash can. The employee at the register took his attention from the customer in front of him to firmly tell me that that trash can was reserved for wipes only. He made me remove the trash. He also did not tell me where I could find a trash can. Trash is trash!! If this is how CVS treats their customers I will never shop there again. I certainly will not shop at this location!! read more

Customer service at this store is better than most cvs stores around. Store is always clean. Almost always have everything in stock. They usually have great deals every week. read more
