When I went in to get them, I was told they would be be ready until the next day because they had to be ordered. The next day I called and they said they hadn't ordered them and it would be another day to get them. If I ever get these prescriptions from them, it will probably be the last time. No one ever notified me of the delay and they obviously don't care about customers if they are lying about ordering them and not calling to let me know about any delays.

Ive been shopping at Meijer stores for quite sometime and I tell you, the past two years the location on Kalamazoo and 28th is by far the saddest representation of a pharmacy that I have ever seen. Everything from denying my prescription that had just been called in by my physician, to telling me to bring the old one that I paid for into the store to get the new one.....because...... why??? You totally go against an MD's prescribed medication by what authority? Oh because the floating pharmacist said "just in case, hold it for another day.....in case of what?? Also......." YOU HAVE NO AUTHORITY TO MAKE THAT DECISION.... As you soon found out!! You do not answer the phones, you dont send out the computer automated messages to commmunicate with your customers about their medication status, oh and did I mention you DONT ANSWER THE PHONES?? I have been waiting 3 days for a medication that I never knew there was a problem about becasue no one bothered to let me know and I tried to check but a NATIONWIDE PHARMACY CHAIN DOES NOT ANSWER THE PHONES.... This location is convenient because of gas prices but now I have to deal with that and go to a new pharmacy of a different origin because a multi-billion dollar corporation get can't get its services right. The people that work there are spot on doing the best they can, but whomever is running this location........well. I was on hold for over 20 minutes at this Michigan location.......Twenty Minutes! The manager James could not have cared less. He made no attempt to help me as I stood in his direct view doing some trivial inventory thing. About 10 min went by, everyone who came in after me was helped. Management gets a zero for this trip although it was not Arians fault and he couldn't have been nicer.

Anyway, I've been here a couple of times and the parking lot is always filled to capacity with mostly very bad drivers with very limited vision, a long line at the drive through, a long line at both the pharmacy inside and cashier check out. Better than the Walgreens by my house though.

A pharmacist was patient enough to calm me and walk me through a dosing mistake. We used this pharmacy for a few years and only changed pharmacies due to our insurance. The only negative for me is the parking arrangement - the lane in and out is a single lane.

There is a very good reason this Walgreens has the lowest review. They are totally inept. I have…read moredone business with them for years, and I regret ever having done so. I have put up with so much of their incompetence that I should have stopped using them years ago. They have taken my loyalty granted. When a prescription needs to be refilled by a certain date, and it is sent in from my doctor a week in advance, instead of ensuring that they will have enough when it needs to be filled, they wait until the day it needs to be filled, then look to see if they have enough. I have waited many times a week without being able to get my medication, and they could care less. Not only that, but they lie and use the excuse that they have to have the insurance "billed first," whatever that means. i have foolishly used Walgreens as my pharmacy for years. I have always had insurance coverage. There's no excuse for this. It's not even a truthful reason. They know my insurance covers it all the time. It makes no sense, because for those without insurance, who pay all out-of-pocket, what excuse do they give them. Again, my insurance has always covered all medications, and never without a hitch. There's no reason I, or any other customer, should have to wait until the medication is billed prior to getting it ready. I have seldom been able to get any of my medication on time. I have waited many times at least a week before I can get it. It messes up my insides. They are very aloof to that. They could care less if the customer has to go without. and when they're out, they say that it will be in within the next few days. and it never is. That's why I question whether they even put in orders every day.. They are aloof as the patient's health. No apologies, no understanding; but, hey, that's just the way it is, attitude. Another one of their excuses is that, hey, this medication is hard to get. It might be hard to get, but that's poor planning, or no planning whatsoever. They just don't care.. I shall never, ever have any of my medication filled by this pharmacy again. They don't deserve one star; it has caused me more harm physically and mentally than anything that I can imagine. And their attitude is, we don't care, you need us we don't need you. And this attitude comes from the pharmacist, not their other employees. This is the type of behavior you would expect from a state run pharmacy such as in the Soviet Union. Why they don't understand that a customer can go someplace else, such as I have regretfully done business with them for years, is mind-boggling. They need to go out of business before they wreck too many other's health.

Just had a phone call with the pharmacy ladies, called yesterday had no problem finding me in…read moresystem said my prescription was ready for pickup but obviously just to be sure called again today and suddenly I don't exist... so I call a different store which they where able to help me more than the store I always go to just instead of asking to talk to a person just go to Walgreens support and they can help me. Ended up showing up then with no problems. And the lady when I called made me spell my name four times for her and proceeded to ask me several other times what my name was. Train your people better.
