This place sucks. I waited in the Drive Through Pharmacy, for 1hr. We couldn't move or anything. I would expect them to have more workers. When I finally decided to walk inside I found that there is only three employees working and two of them are just minding their own business and wasting time. I had to pick up my babies medicine because she was not feeling good. She was extremely fussy so I didn't want to get down but she was especially fussy after waiting about 25 minutes for two cars to go in front of us. they took ridiculously long and when I got to the front, they took about 8 minutes to even acknowledge me and when they did, they told me to go back in 20 minutes so I went to get something to eat, came back and when I got there. It still wasn't ready. Well over 20 minutes had passed. They forgot about it or something but I will not be going back. read more

Looking for a 24 hour pharmacy seems almost impossible these days. My son needed some Rx's filled ASAP and after waiting at urgent care for almost 3 hours, we first tried Walgreens off Litchfield - what a terrible experience that was! The staff was rude and incompetent there and had me waiting for 1/2 hour to tell me that they don't take my PPO insurance that I've NEVER had an issue with?! I left Walgreens in tears. Luckily I saw that this CVS was also open 24 hours! From the moment I walked in, it just felt different. Rebecca greeted me and was super polite. She listened to me and let me vent about Walgreens and actually cared about what I had to say. She was so sweet and you could tell she cared about what she did. They were able to fill the Rx's in about an hour. Dale, the Pharmacist was also great! They were super busy but he still took the time to now just answer my questions/concerns, but everyone's! Between him and Rebecca they were answering the many incoming phone calls, the drop offs, the pick ups and the drive thru - these 2 did a better job than the 5-6 people at Walgreens down the street who couldn't even answer a few simple questions. If there was an option for ZERO stars I would have selected. Month over month - we drop off a prescription and it is NEVER ready by the promised day/time. Like who needs medication - especially a prescribed one, right?! The pharmacy takes zero responsibility for any errors. Even better - try filing a corporate complaint - at most you get a generic email from the store manager whom is condescending and has no training in how to handle or accept feedback - basically says the reason for any error is 'short staff'. Well, the short staffed excuse should be acceptable over providing medication timely for a medical need right?!! I forget this society is all about themselves - not the people to be served. Best part is - ask for the district manager - funny that the store manager cant provide a name or number. THEY DONT CARE. read more

CVS pharmacy is gone downhill!!! You call them and go through the automated system and it tells you that your prescription is ready for pick up!! And it's not ready!! You transfer to a speak with a live person and your on hold for over 20 minutes!! A rude woman answered the call and talked over me!! She didn't we to hear anything I had to say!! She had no explanation for me why the automated system told me that the prescription was ready 4 days ago!!I I'm ready to go another place for my meds!! Just a heads up Walmart is worse!! read more

I scheduled an appointment with the CVS Minute Clinic online for a flu shot. I checked in and eventually was called. The RN kept running my medical insurance card, which was being rejected. Even though I had been going to this particular CVS for many years, this person basically indicated "oh well", and I left. I called my insurance provider and apparently this moron was running the payment under the Pharmacy Benefit versus the Medical Benefit. This whole experience wasted an hour of my time. Ultimately, I went to the local Fry's Grocery store. Even as a walk-in, I was all done in about 22 minutes - no fuss, no muss. Guess where I am going next year. read more

I have used the pharmacy a few times. Every time the I do the store is dirty and smells bad. The employees in the pharmacy are rude and treat you like they are doing you a favor by letting you shop there. Very poor customer service. read more

I used the drive up pharmacy here. Once I drove up a saw three people at the window. They looked busy, saw me, but didn't say hi or I'll be right with you. It took a couple of minutes for someone to help me. The man that helped me got right to the point and handled my order promptly. To start, I will say that I appreciate the kind of setup CVS has that affords people to come to any of their stores for medical services perhaps not gotten else where. It is very affordable and easy to use appointment or walkin. My experience with CVS was for me to go there and get a tb skin test. The way the tb skin test is administered is on your forearm with .1 ml under the skin and you come back to get it checked 48 to 72 hrs later. From my understanding of the clinical aspect of how it is done, in my opinion it was not done properly from start to beginning. Which because of this i received a positive result, subsequently I have gotten a chest xray and blood test in conjunction after wards and have shown negative for both results. It did not feel very good for a little while at the result of the tb skin test. But following up with the blood test and x ray I am confident now I do not have tb. This is not suppose to be a negative post just one to be informational so that you may want to follow up with your doctor or other service so as not to experience what I had. read more

Repeated problems. Most of the pharmacy staff have been very polite, although a few seemed dazed (possibly overworked). Maybe their customers computer systems are complete trash, or maybe the employees don't know what they are doing. I have had multiple problems with them not being able to use insurance for two of us (with different insurance companies, which were both completely valid) . Prescriptions are not ready for pickup on time, and sometimes get lost. So, I frequently had to wait a long time in a short line to find out I needed to come back later. I had previously used this location for maybe 10 years, but things seem to have changed in the pharmacy. read more

If I could go lower, I would. They are always short on staff. One pharmacist and one pharmacy technician for a 24 hour location at all times of the day. Ridiculous. They're always too busy to help you with anything. Long lines and wait times. And when there's no line, you're still waiting for a while to be serviced. The response I got tonight was "well I'm not even supposed to be here I'm working overtime" why does it matter?! I went in today and went to the register of Megan (probably in her 30's, blonde hair) and she was very rude and inconsiderate to me, embarrassed me because I didn't know how to do the chip in my card in the atm, (I just got it and first time using it) then after that she slammed my reciept onto the beer and said "here's your reciept" with no have a good day or anything. First of all, PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS THAT ARENT "RECOMMENDED". (Scroll to the bottom of this page and click the link for reviews that aren't recommended). You will see two 1-star reviews for the Goodyear CVS that were written in Nov. 2014 (like mine). They tell the truth! I don't know why those reviews are basically "hidden" by Yelp, but they are completely accurate and reflective of my experience with this CVS pharmacy. I've been giving them the benefit of the doubt since moving here in June 2014. I am DONE with them! It's a terrible place where customers are treated poorly. The pharmacy is ALWAYS understaffed. On a good day, there are 2 cashiers/pharm techs and one pharmacist working. That's on a GOOD day. This is a busy, 24-hour pharmacy. There should be a a minimum of 5 people working. They're always overwhelmed, backlogged and late in filling prescriptions. Last night, I heard the pharmacist - Emily - tell her workers to "start looking for the lost ones" (prescriptions). She repeatedly asked her staff, "What was I doing?" and kept saying, "I'm nowhere near caught up". Customer after customer came in and left angry because an RX they called in hours ago was either not ready or had been lost. The techs and pharmacists have been EXTREMELY rude to me on the phone and in person, regardless of time of day. Tiffany - a pharm tech/cashier - is an eye-roller and has cut me off mid-sentence with, "Yeah, yeah, yeah", as I was trying to explain something. Last night, CVS made an error on one of my refills that I could see on the web site. I thought if I called at 3:00 a.m. there would be no customers there and I'd be given the appropriate attention. The pharmacist working at that time has been rude on two out of two occasions I've called. (I called last week about another family member's prescription). He sighed and condescendingly said, "I don't know how else to explain it to you". The truth is, he doesn't explain. The things he "explains" make no sense and are 100% contradictory to how the CVS staff did things in CT, where I'm from. I'm not an idiot, yet he treats me like I'm stupid and an inconvenience. He even raises his voice! I'm an educated woman with a master's degree. And, I know how CVS is SUPPOSED to do things. I used them for YEARS in CT. It's the only reason I stayed with CVS after moving here; I figured my profile and RXs were already in the national system so there would be less hassle than changing pharmacies. Now the hassle is worse. The staff at this Goodyear pharmacy honestly has no idea what it's doing! Now, I will be transferring all of my family's prescriptions to Walgreens. I was treated like gold by CVS in Colchester, CT. I didn't know it would be so vastly different in Goodyear, AZ. Here, I'm constantly given the brush-off, told they're "too busy" to answer my questions, or even too busy to fill a prescription! Today I called them because on the web site, there was still an error in the amount of pills and amount of refills remaining. (It was the same error that I tried to fix at 3:00 a.m.). I told today's pharm tech that the 3:00 a.m. pharmacist was condescending and didn't answer my questions. She said, "He doesn't mean to be rude, but we're always understaffed and there's so much for him to do at night. It's very stressful working here." Maybe he's just pissed off that he has the graveyard shift. Maybe CVS should schedule more than 2 people at a time in a high-traffic, 24-hour pharmacy. Maybe the staff shouldn't take out their job stress on the customers. Today's pharm tech told me there was indeed an error in my number of refills, but that SHE couldn't fix it. I HAD to speak to a pharmacist to correct it. Then she said, "I have 5 people in line right now. I have to go". Then she was gone and I was on hold, waiting for the pharmacist herself. When the pharmacist - Emily again - finally reached the phone, she told me, "I'm not good with computers. I don't know how to correct it. We're too busy and there are only two of us in the pharmacy. Your issue ISN'T an emergency. I'm TRYING to deal with emergencies. Call back tomorrow when there's someone else here who understands the computer". WHAT??!! So, in a nutshell, my refill error, which is cheating me out of a full refill because of THEIR mistake, isn't really important. I was blown off. Everyone I talk to there tells me to talk to someone else. I get the run-around and I'm treated like garbage even when there ARE no problems or errors with my orders (which is rare). Even on a problem-free day, I'm greeted with curtness when I pick up my order. If you care about having your medications filled correctly, or if you want to be given the time of day by a caring, knowledgable staff, AVOID this CVS pharmacy! On a side note: This is the dirtiest CVS store I've ever seen. The store itself smells like mildew and the carpeting is really stained. The chairs in the pharmacy waiting area are too gross to sit on. read more

Terrible! I was told my prescription would take 10 minutes, and it ended up being 45 minutes. Not sure what was going on, but they did seem busy. There is not enough workers or something. I was waiting for a simple antibiotic. Two days later, I needed something filled, and again they told me 15 minutes. It again ended up being 45 min. my husband then needed medication (Strep throat went around to all family members) and he chose to have it sent there. He went, and was told that their system was down, and it would be about an hour. I told him no, to have it changed to Walgreens. Well, he did, but only the one for my son went to Walgreens but not both prescriptions, he needed one too. At Walgreens the nice pharmacist told us that we would have to pay full price for my husbands prescription because it was already billed at CVS. She told us we could call the next day to CVS and have it cancelled, and once we got it cancelled, we could return to Walgreens and get back the difference. We paid, and the prescriptions were filled within 10 minutes. As I'm writing this, I am now on the phone on hold at CVS waiting for someone to pick up. It's going on 20 minutes now. Do not go here if you want anything done in a timely manner. read more

The pharmacists and pharmacist assistants at this CVS pharmacy are absolutely wonderful. Super fast, very organized and they are all extremely friendly. I am so thankful that we switched from another chain pharmacy to this CVS - the customer service level is night and day compared to our last pharmacy. Way to go CVS! read more

I only used the pharmacy here, so I don't know about the cashier or anyone else who may have been working there on Monday when I went. I stopped in to get a few prescriptions filled. The girl at the pharmacy counter, who looked a LOT like an older Abigail Breslin, which I also thought to be strange, was really helpful and friendly. I was told it'd be about 15 minutes until my order was done, but it took less than that. I sat in their tiny little waiting area flipping through pages of US Weekly. Then, they called my last name over the intercom and I was good to go. Very helpful staff in the pharmacy here. read more

AVOID THE PHARMACY AT ALL COST. They are incompetent and rude. They are incapable of following up, rude and just plain incompetent. They had a 4 hour wait to fill a prescription. We decided to transfer to another pharmacy. An hour later they still had not transfered the prescription. My wife called and tried to explain that we have a sick child in need of the medicine. The woman snapped we are all sick here. Terrible customer service. The CVS corporation should look at this store and consider making serious changes in their pharmacy. read more
