I'd give it more stars, but I got a vaccine the other day, on a Thursday, and my arm was sore until Tuesday the following week. The vaccine giver just jammed it into the front of my shoulder. May be it's time to review vaccine delivery protocols with the staff. The store is a newer, larger CVS so it seems to have a good selection of product and it's near a lot of other stores.

There was a pretty big mixup today with my insurance that was not only going to be an inconvenience for me but also was going to be a huge source of anxiety for me as well with a new medication. I have picked up other prescriptions before, either for myself or family members when Derek has been working and he always is so pleasant and accommodating. I have noticed the way he interacts with customers because it is not ordinary-he is usually smiling and making a well-above average effort to fill prescriptions, answer patient questions and provide suggestions. That pharmacy location is always insanely busy-it is ridiculous, in fact....and I am there frequently and I have never seen him not hustling to get everyone taken care of and doing it with a smile. In this post-Covid, crazy world where most people don't even make eye contact any more he is a diamond in the rough. I am not sure why there are not more good reviews for this location, because I know for a fact that there are plenty of people (some who I know and others whom I don't but have been side by side with) at that store that receive the same great service I am describing. Hopefully more people will take time out of their day to give credit where it is due too! Thank you Derek!

Denise explained the products in depth to me that are sold at cvs. Now I only use those products and no longer spend 200.00 for a serum! I love her!! If I have any questions I just call her and she explains everything to me. She even helped me sign up on the app to receive coupons!! I think Denise is wonderful and I send all my friends to her to learn even though we all live far away! Thank you Denise!!!

    I went to Minute clinic for the stop smoking cessation program. The nurse said she could not do…read moreanything of the sort because she didn't know my medical history and the patches and other meds have BIG TIME side affects and she was not willing to put her license on the line to prescribe them. So I should just keep smoking instead. What kind of whack job is she? She said she was just filling in for the day so I scheduled another appointment for 9 am today at Danvers, MA store. Of course that lady filling in for the day was THERE AGAIN! I had called the 1-866-389-2727 number yesterday when I came home empty handed and they told me to set up an appointment and call them if there were problems. Said they would call the store and find out what was going on if I had issues. I'm back home here after visit times two. I WANT MY GAS MONEY REFUNDED. TWO TRIPS TO THAT STORE. 2 HOURS WASTED. 50- GIFT CARD. CALL ME! The danvers store is at 311 Newbury street!!!!!!!!! I want an explanation. Why say you provide a service but when you show up they are too chicken to prescribe patches or cartridges? Oxyconton- It is never in stock and when I questioned why I was told it is backorder how ever it almost always is available the next day. If it is truly backorder rather than out of stock why is available the next day? This is only one of a myriad of issues I have with this pharmacy. At times the staff are unpleasant, particularly the pharmcists.

I explained that my doctor has been trying (also 3 times) to speak with them and needed some additional information about my usage. My doctor says they are about to give up on this. I called and when I got through, the pharmacy assistant said that I am wrong and this is not possible and that i need to have my doctor call again. At no time did they offer to call my doctor. I have been running around in circles with this pharmacy for a week now and have not received my medication. I am pulling all of my prescriptions out of this pharmacy. The pharmacy assistant said GOOD. You go do that!!! Wow.. Very unprofessional and not customer driven at all. UPDATE--- I took my prescriptions to another pharmacy and received my prescriptions right way / same day.
