I'm not sure how this pharmacy is still open. I have never seen a team that has no idea what they…read moreare doing. This team is lead by the pharmacist, Teneall. Twice in less than 2 weeks I dropped off refills that needed to be transferred from another pharmacy. Both times they seemed confused. Both times I had to call 2 days later and they I had no idea what I was talking about. I got very frustrated dealing with the incompetence of this team, I decided to speak to the pharmacist. Bad idea! She was horribly rude and kept talking over me and blaming everyone else. I even caught her in a lie. I let it go the first time. To my horror it happened a week later. Same thing. These medicines were blood pressure and cholesterol. Not something I should be going days without because of this teams incompetence! Teneall was very dismissive of my concerns. I Asked for her bosses name. She wouldn't tell me. Seems as she is hiding something. Will never go there again. I am afraid that there lack of knowledge and incompetence will harm my health.

Worst experience I've ever had at a pharmacy. I am type 1 diabetic and came in during a medical…read moreemergency. I had my own insulin and only needed a syringe to properly take my medication. I asked the pharmacist (Brian) to purchase one and was told he can't give me one unless I buy insulin from them with a RX. I was confused as the state of VA allows purchase over the counter for insulin supplies without an Rx. I felt discriminated against but I kept calm and asked if he would like to see my blood sugar to show that I have an immediate need for help, He turned his back on me and told me I didn't need to prove anything and started to act like I don't exist. I pricked my finger anyway Loudly announced my deadly 422 BG level, still cold shoulder from the whole team. He does not deserve to be a medical professional. He did not provide sound judgement or proper care at all. I proceeded to ask to anyone out of the 4 people in the pharmacy if they can't help me please give me someone I can call or a place to go for help. Completely ignored, I left and ended up in hospital with DKA. Over a 3 dollar syringe that is not against the law to sell. I hope Brian slept well while I was hooked up to IV's all night. Have a good life man! P.S. T1Diabetics, Go to Martin's across the street. I was able to purchase my syringes without an Rx this morning as it should have been last night. CVS was only pharmacy open after 8pm so it was my only option yesterday.

Family Pharmacy is great. Calling during store hours yields a friendly, live human being to answer…read morequestions or take refill information. I've had a few situations where pharmacist consultation was required for selecting alternatives for non-stocked or shortage medications. The staff pharmacists have always been gracious and helpful when needed.

Family Pharm * My…read moredoctor increased my dose of Fludrocortisone from 0.2 mg to 0.3 mg. I asked that the prescription be sent to Family Pharmacy because I wanted to start it right away rather than wait for it to be filled and shipped by PillPack. Frankly, I don't like doing business with Amazon, but I had thought it was the only company to offer the special service. The packs have been very helpful. I hadl been waiting to get the additional medication at Family Pharmacy. It turns out I am being punished because I did business with a competitor. I was told I need to have PillPack fix their "mess." I explained it was not necessarily a PillPack matter because the new prescription was independent of the other. They could be merged next month. I was accused of knowing Family Pharmacy had a "pill pack" service and still chose Amazon. I was told I must have found out about PillPack online and saw on the Family Pharmacy website that they offer the same service. The fact is I saw an advertisement for Pill Pack on television. They gave a toll-free number. I didn't go to the Internet at all. I had never been to the Family Pharmacy website. Why Greg Evans could not ask me about the matter in a kind, professional and respectful way is beyond me. I had been a Family Pharmacy customer for some 20 years. And I take a couple dozen medications. During our phone conversation, Greg started getting quite disrespectful and I said so. He sought to justify his behavior by saying I was being disrespectful to him because I use Pill Pack, but expected him to spend several hours on the phone to fix Pill Pack's (nonexistent) mess. I was surprised Greg spoke to me in such a rude, unprofessional manner that could only make the situation worse. All he had to say was something like, "We did not make a mistake, PillPack did. But you have been a loyal customer for 20 years, so I was happy to deal with the problem for you. Did you know Family Pharmacy offers same service as PillPack?" I would have immediately returned to Family Pharmacy for my medication. I did not know Greg has such a volatile temper. He falsely believes I was not a loyal customer, but I felt I had to select a new pharmacy because of the service they offered with the number of pills I must every day. Rather, Greg was neither a professional, nor loyal vendor. I really like doing business with Family Pharmacy. If I had not, I would have chosen a different company. This review was written at 4:40 AM and I'm wide awake. Greg gave a bunch of unnecessary stress to a person he already knows suffers from depression and anxiety.

Stone Ridge Pharmacy

Huge shoutout to one of the absolute best pharmacies out there--Stone Ridge Pharmacy in Aldie, VA!…read more If you're looking for a pharmacy where you feel like family, look no further! The head pharmacist and owner, Satish, is an incredible ally in your healthcare journey. His team is fantastic, and the vibe at Stone Ridge Pharmacy is all about one goal: delivering the most accurate, well-informed, and easily understandable information about your medications. Seriously, they make managing my medications a breeze, and I can't thank them enough! Let me share a bit about my experience. I've got a chronic illness that used to run my life, but I took the reins and decided to make it work for me. I did my research, trusted my instincts, and relied on common sense. Now, thanks to Satish and his amazing team, I'm living life on my terms! I take a whole bunch of medications--13 core ones, to be exact! Stone Ridge organizes them into a convenient monthly pack, with everything sorted by morning and night (they even have the day of week, date, and morning is one color and night is another; really making it hard to miss doses). And it doesn't stop there! They provide me with PRN medications in their own bottles, plus one liquid and one powder. Here's the kicker: they even offer premeasured packets for my powder and a syringe stopper for my liquid meds! Talk about going the extra mile! I'll admit, I was a bit hesitant to have a pharmacy that's 22 miles away as my go-to, but let me tell you--it's TOTALLY worth it! Unlike big national chains like CVS that often run out of popular meds and leave you waiting, Stone Ridge springs into action the moment my prescription comes in. I get my meds in about 12 hours instead of waiting days or even weeks! In the past, I had to juggle multiple pharmacies and struggle to find where to send my prescriptions. Don't even get me started on the headaches with controlled substances! My healthcare provider would spend hours redoing prescriptions just to switch pharmacies. What a nightmare! But now, thanks to Stone Ridge and their committed staff, I always have everything I need, exactly when I need it. No stress, no hassle--just pure peace of mind! If you're not already part of the Stone Ridge family, you're missing out!
