Why does EVERYTHING in Prince Georges County suck SO bad. Literally everything they have here, pharmacies, restaurants, grocery stores. It's all the same story. Employees that are lazy and have terrible attitudes. No pride, responsibility or stewardship in any employees. Fucking hate doing anything in this county. Every time we come to the CVS they lose the prescription or they don't look it up incorrectly and they tell you they don't have it. Called to ask a question. The person answered and ignored me while talking to other customers and ringing up. Didn't say hello or anything. Upon walking into the store, I tell him I'm on the phone and he is clueless as to where the phone is that he picked up! Then he says he said hello and couldn't hear me. Another lady is having a personal call on her AirPods and completely oblivious. The CVS is convenient for me because I just brought a home down the street. For contacts I'm a full-time ER nurse so I understand burnout however the employees at this location particularly that work in the pharmacy are just rude. Both times I came the store was not packed at all. There was not even a person waiting in line at the pharmacy yet still, I was ignored and only had a question about if they sold a particular product. When told I don't know, you have to go ask the people in the front after having to speak up for some help after four employees watch me stand in line with One not acknowledging me and just stating "you need to check in". I only had a question so there was no need for me to check into something I couldn't check into. However, a hello, how are you doing? How could I be of service was never offered. There was also an older woman standing behind me who also had a question and was met with the same attitude. When I went up to the front to ask the front desk person, if the product was sold there she wouldn't know. I would have to go ask the pharmacy so of course after getting the runaround, I said I would just purchase on Amazon. I would definitely never come back to this location nor would I recommend recommended. Unprofessional, nasty attitude, and just downright a place. RACISM AGAINS LATIN COSTUMER On Friday I bought medicine for my flu, at self checkout there was a color person right next to me buying the exact same thing, when a color woman who works there unlocked the machine at the color costumer but not mine, since I am Latino, she asked for my ID, but to the other color person didn't say anything to her, the first thing she said to me you have an ID but when she approached the other person politely I said hi even though I obviously look old but because I am Latino she asked me if I had an ID, this is the first time something so unpleasant has happened to me at CVS, now they categorize you just for being Latino so if you plan on buying anything even if you obviously look old, bring your ID. CVS need to be professional and put that racism thinks at side. so Remember if you look Latino they are gonna ask you if you have an ID even if you look old. read more

WORST CVS IN THE AREA. Pharmacy is always behind on prescriptions and drive thru wait times are outrageous. I am so disappointed in the pharmacy at CVS. I've been a customer of this pharmacy since the CVS was located on Swan Creek Road. My doctor sent a prescription 15 days ago. They kept telling me that they didn't have it in stock, it would be here "tomorrow". From Dec 17-Dec 28, I kept being told it's coming in the order tomorrow or the order after 5. I asked if they could look in their system to see if the medication was at any other CVS in the area. She said, there is none in a 20 mile radius. So I called back after 5 and it still wasn't there. This time another person answered the phone. She said, oh I see that 2 CVS in DC may have it and two in Alexandria. She gave me the numbers. I called and ended up having to go to Alexandra to pick up the medication, after waiting 15 days. read more

This place is terrible. Its ashame because it use to be so good. Now the pharmacy has taken a turn for the worst. The staff always has an attitude. They never have my meds ready HOURS after my doctor has ordered them. I've even had to wait a full day (almost two) for a medication that was ordered. The staff always catches an attitude as though I or other patient inconvenience them... I was extremely frustrated with the Pharmacy personnel , Kenneth Okah . I went to the counter to request the home Covid -19 Tests. He told me I could not receive them without a prescription. I had seen my doctor the previous day and asked for a prescription since I was there for my shots. I was told , and pointed out memo , no prescription necessary. Arrived at 12:55 for 1 pm COVID appointment. There were 3 cars in front of me. Finally got to the front of the line and told they are on break from 1:30-2 pm. When I informed the woman I had a 1 pm appt she had the nerve to say well it's 1:30 now and then suggested I was lying when I said I had been waiting! She claimed she had helped the car before me and it was fast. What trash to accuse me of lying in front of my kids who had been sitting in the car with me for over 30 minutes! The pharmacy needs to be sued! They've cheated my mom out of medicine and when my mom made the pharmacist count out the medicine and when she was supposed to get 60 pills they gave her 45. They told her that "Mistakes Happen" but medication is a life or death thing that should not be handled lightly. My mother has had issues with the pharmacy multiple times in the past and I always tell her she needs to find a new CVS but she says that this location is convenient for her. This pharmacy is notorious for being awful and slow. Was in the ER on May 23 and they sent over a two prescription's between 6-7:30 pm. Got to the CVS around 8:30 and was told my prescription's were not ready and wouldn't be ready by the time they closed, they would be ready in the morning. I went the next day May 24th at 4pm and only one prescription was ready. Not sure how two prescription's turned in at the same time were not filled together. Waste of my time and gas going to this CVS 3 times. This pharmacy is the worst. read more

It's an interesting location. Like an other review said, I too was shorten from my meds and I thought I was crazy. My doctor gave me a 30 day refill and I was done almost two weeks prior. I take so many meds I put the blame on myself and basically went those extra days without medication. My doctor thought it was weird and we didn't think much of it. Now that I read the other comment I know for a fact I was shorten. So make sure you count your pills, sadly that's what I do every time I pick up mine.The man in that location has been very helpful to me, and ask the right questions to give you the proper answers. The women aren't as experienced or knowledgeable except the slim younger lady. A few times I was told my insurance wasn't on file, but when I went back to the man he was able to help w no problem, with the same insurance information. I am a patient person and I haven't lost my temper as of yet. I'm understanding of the workload they have, but I feel they should recount the pills properly, this could be a life or death situation for someone. read more

My doctor had to call in a different cough medication than was originally prescribed and he was left on hold for 20 minutes. Therefore, it doesn't matter who you are as you will need to wait. These people are on two speeds....slow and slower. It always appears that they are short of help. With that said, the customer service is in need of major improvements. The unpleasant attitudes are not welcoming. I guess they know that if you are at the pharmacy then we "the customer" need them more than they need us. Have I mentioned how horrible this CVS is? Phones never work. They never seem to get my prescription. Takes 24 hours to fill it when they do. I've currently been sitting in line at the drive thru for 15 min waiting for someone to come to the window to offer assistance. Management, or Ownership, really needs to invest some time and energy into this ass backwards establishment. All my non-urgent scripts go to the CVS inside Target in Brandywine. They are so friendly and efficient. It's a shame this is the only pharmacy location on my way home for last minute script needs. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. My prescriptions are never filled on time. I've always call a head of time to make sure it's ready and they'll tell me it is, but when I arrive they tell me to wait because it's not ready yet. I've called to check if my prescription was received and they would always give me a hard time locating it. They also have my name backwards in the system and I've mentioned it every time and they still never changed it. Horrible customer service. read more

I've never been to a CVS pharmacy where I haven't had to wait for an excessive amount of time, however this has been the worst of the worst. This one seemed much better than others when I first moved nearby, because there is a pharmacy drive thru, but the line is always insanely long. I actually have to plan well in advance to pick up my prescriptions or I will be spending the only few time I have left after work sitting in line. Aa I type this there are two cars in front of me and three cars behind me at the drive thru. As per usual, it takes about 10-15 min PER CAR. I wish I could say that this is an unusual wait time, but unfortunately it is not. Many times I have driven away in frustration but only to punish myself by not having my meds on the correct day. One car behind me just drove off we I've been here waiting for 25 minutes. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, but what else is new CVS? Let's be real. I wish I had read the reviews prior to taking prescriptions to this pharmacy. If you need medications do not waste your time and go somewhere else. Dropped off prescriptions on a Thursday at 10 am. I had to wait in line for about 15 minutes but it was fairly clear that they were not adequately staffed. They told me that one of the prescriptions would have to be ordered and would come in the next day. This is annoying but it was not a medication that was needed immediately so I was fine with waiting. They said do to the volume of orders that they had the other one would be 2 hours. Again fine, not a medication that was needed right away. I returned 3 hours later and there was an issue with needing additional information from the doctor**. Once that was sorted out they said that the medication would not be available until Friday at 4 pm. I was trying to be as patient as possible but this was beginning to get annoying. Additionally the only reason I knew this was because I went online and checked; had I been elderly or did not have access to the internet I'm not sure how I would have known this. This takes us to Friday. I checked again online and they said the issue had been resolved and the medication should be ready. I called them at 1 pm to check if the medication was ready and they said it would be ready within 30 minutes. Also they didn't actually get in the second medication and orders do not come in on weekends so now that medication wouldn't be ready until Monday (and this is for any CVS). I waited two hours and then went to the store. Medication still not ready. They mixed the medications while I stood there. Received the medication at 3:24 pm. To receive one medication from them it 19.25 HOURS. I took back the script for the other medication and will never go to that CVS, if any CVS again. **When I called the doctor's office and spoke with their assistant this was the exact quote from that staff member "Is this the CVS on Livingston Rd? They are the worst. They always have issues" read more
