I get there and the lady tells me they don't have my insurance info for prescriptions. I told them that was odd, considering I had just recently been there. I gave her my card as I did last time, and she told me it was the wrong card - that I needed something special to have my prescription covered. She tells me it'll be $85.00. I am like, this is NOT right, because I have great insurance. I call my insurance company, they give me the info, and I go to the girl at the counter. The girl at the counter says they have my info on hand - that the info I just got on the phone is the SAME thing they have in the computer. She goes back to privately talk to the manager. Suddenly the cost of my prescription drops $50.00. If I didn't protest and call my company, they would have charged me $50.00 more dollars for no reason. Probably would've just pocketed it. On top of that, the pharmacist wasn't wearing a mask -- this is a healthcare-related facility, sick people are coming in here all the time, why aren't you wearing a mask!? And they also allowed customers in here without a mask. Feels like a shady place.

So much so that I remember the faces of employees. Anyways it's clean, the service has (never) disappointed me at this location and it's pretty convenient. I come for the sales the wall plugs and an occasional mist. I have 3 coupons to use as I type so 5/5 highly recommend and can't wait for the need to go to Brooklyn so I can indulge.

Lush is definitely one of my favorite spots to get body wash, body lotion, and shampoo bars…read moreif/whenever I need to stock up on some supplies at home. Everything is vibrant + playful + makes you feel like you're in a better mood. I just wanna go up to smell everything because they all smell delicious when I'm first stepping foot into the store. Staff is always friendly + helpful + attentive at this 59th Street - Columbus Circle location. You can easily find this spot at the Turnstyle Underground Market after coming out through the turnstiles. Lovely and fragrant aromas of freshly handmade skincare + hair care + body care + bath bombs + soap bars + makeup products are filled throughout the store. Since the products are handmade and not processed by machines, they tend to be in different sizes. Another thing is that, they have shorter shelf lives + shorter expiration dates. For the fresh face masks being sold in containers, it is absolutely necessary to store them in the fridge when/after getting home so they won't get spoiled. They usually will expire in a month as there's no synthetic preservatives in the formula. Face masks are packed with fresh, natural active ingredients like fruits and vegetables too. Other skincare products like cleansers & moisturizers may not need to be put in the fridge and can last up to one year to 14 months. Bath bombs and soap bars aren't required to be placed inside the fridge. So, just storing them in a cool, dry place is already well enough. Although, it is highly recommended to store them in airtight containers to prevent food odors from seeping in if they're placed inside the fridge. I tend to like placing products made with oils like massage bars in the fridge during the summer. Therefore, the oil doesn't get separated from the product itself. Moreover, there won't be any melting either. Different products are catered to different skin concerns that people might have. Anyone's bound to find something he/she will like inside. Lush is a great place to buy thoughtful presents for your family and friends on their birthdays or other holiday celebrations.

It is located underground at the market at the 59th St/Columbus Circle subway stop. PSA: It's *not* street level! Fun fact: It's not only the smallest Lush shop in the United States, it's *also* the only one located underground! When we entered, Hannah greeted us and confirmed that 80% of the phone calls she receives at the shop are "how do I find you?" (I was one of them!) She was very helpful and friendly. I love talking Lushie with people! Even though it is a very intimate space, the layout is amazing. They really know how to maximize space here! This shop was tricky to find, but I'm so glad I didn't give up!
