When you've been to one CVS, you've been to them all. This location is nicely maintained and the staff seems nice and friendly. I found everything that I was looking for. I also saw some things in the makeup section that I didn't see in the other CVS stores that I've visited. I bought it and was excited to try it. Horrible pharmacy! Don't answer the telephone or call customers back with regards to their medications. Rude pharmacist and the counter. Workers are rude and lazy. Pharmacy area is dirty an unclean especially where you have to take a vaccination. Doctors cannot get through. Had to take medications to Walgreens for it has better service with their pharmacist than this garbage CVS. When you want to speak to a manager, they say they don't have one for the pharmacy. I am tired of calling this pharmacy and nobody answers the phone. SOME of the staff is very rude. I went there to pick-up a prescription and to make a purchase. After I received my prescription, the young lady walked away without ringing up my merchandise. I was confused because I was standing there looking like a fool. I had to yell at her I had a purchase. She yelled back I needed to pay in the front. I believe it would have been appropriate if she had informed me of that instead of just leaving me standing there. The service and products in this location has been declining every year. If the staff is unhappy with their jobs, perhaps they should consider finding employment somewhere else instead of being unfriendly, hostile, and rude to the customers. TREAT PEOPLE HOW YOU WANT TO BE TREATED. I hope another big chain pharmacy open up in the new complex on Mott Avenue so the consumers can have options. Again I am writing a review, bc this pharmacy has to be thee WORST pharmacy I've ever dealt with in my 45 yrs of life!!!! I don't believe these people are professionals in charge of dispersing medication to the community!!!! PURE IGNORANCE!!! I tried to not change pharmacies and give another chance, to keep business alive locally, but I'm DONE!!!! Long story short. They can't fill my 2 scripts at the same time, due to issue dates and regulations, totally understand....However, one script last day of pick up was on a Wed....very next day was the 1st day for me to pick up the 2nd med. received both notifications via text. These imbeciles returned the 1st med!! common sense didn't tell any 1 at this location to hold off bc I may just be trying to make 1 trip to pick up both at once?!?!?! and I truly believe this was done intentionally bc this incompetent group always pretend to be soooooo damn busy when at the location.....So they couldn't delay the return just a few days..... I'm done!! Y'all need completely NEW management!! Haven't had a good experience in this place yet!! The entire store is a disgrace to CVS'! They deserve a negative star!! A decent neighborhood cvs. The lines are long and the aisles are messy. Sometimes they run out of basic things like tooth paste. The pharmacy staff are very very helpful though. They are considered and they understand how important medications are for patients. Overall an ok place. read more

The pharmacy it self wait half an hour in the pick up line... for them to tell you they don't have your prescription... go to the drop off line when was the last time anyone had an actual prescription to drop off??? So why do I have to wait on a whole second line for them to try to service my request??? You have to budget over an hour just to stand and wait in line. It has happened to me at least three times. The worst CVS ever! Dirty, unorganized, empty cardboard boxes everywhere. Staff is rude and unprofessional. Pharmacist doesn't even want to talk to anyone in person and asks a girl on front to pass messages to him. Far Rockaway doesn't have many drugstores. We have already have lost one due to new housing construction. You need to send a new manager with skills to get this store running in shape. CVS has to hire more employees for this store. The line for prescriptions takes to long because it only has one cashier everyday. You need people to put the products on the shelves at a timely fashion. The main cashiers also takes to long because even the manager has to help out. People are told their prescriptions will be in at a certain day but it never happens. You have a drug store that sells many products in which other drug stores in the neighborhood only concern themselves with prescriptions. This is not a wealthy community so we deserve better quality service then this. Please get your act together. We don't need to lose another drugstore. read more

This place is ridiculous. I have visited 1-2 times a month for the last year and have yet to even make a purchase, primarily for pharmacy. Medication is never in stock, or I'm told the script is invalid (worked fine at Duane Reade), or the line is so long I'd be better off getting a chemistry degree and making the compound my self. Avoid unless you have a few hours to kill and enjoy walking out empty handed. Im done with this CVS for good. read more
