He always seems friendly and appears to like his job. In the evenings, a young man works the counter (I'm assuming the son or grandson of the man from the morning). He is either surly or indifferent about anyone shopping at the store. I make it my personal mission to ask him lots of pointless questions about nothing in particular and to be as cheerful as possible. I'm sure he thinks I'm crazy, but the look on his face when I walk in the store is like getting two bucks off the six pack of beer that I'm just about to buy. Last time I was there he had a friend with him behind the counter and they were both playing game-boys like a couple of 12 year old boys. I asked him what they were playing and he mumbled something about different games... Not sure what that means, so I asked him how much they charged for a $1 lottery ticket then bought a candy bar and walked out. Please note: If you want to use a credit card you have to buy more then $10 in a single purchase.

The aisles were a little closer together and had a variety of offerings in each of the different categories of items on the shelves. Warm/prepared food items were available as were fresh donuts. What caught my eye on my candy-seeking pursuit was a king size pink lemonade KitKat bar. They had some other limited edition candy offerings including the Reese's medals that are on the shelves in-sync with the 2024 Summer Olympic Games (opening ceremony on Friday 26 July 2024). I was at the counter waiting to pay and noticed that particular item... While alluring, it was the KitKat I went with as the Games had yet to begin. The cashier was warm and friendly in her demeanor. Parking was located directly out front of the store and off to one side. I had difficulty seeing one patron when backing out, though fortunately he saw me, so there was no collision.

I tried to redeem my points, but they kept telling me no. I was confused about why, so I asked, and he got angry and said I didn't have enough. I know I did because the points were showing on the screen, and then he switched them to payment. When I asked again, he got even madder. So, be warned: they'll take your money and be incredibly rude.

No one came to the window, so I went to the normal pharmacy window. The woman that assisted me at the pharmacy window was annoyed I wasn't at the shot window, but nobody came to the shop window (I waited 5 minutes). This could easily be fixed if they had a bell/ringer at the shot window. I completed the medical information online prior to my arrival, but the store couldn't retrieved the I formation, so I had to fill out the medical record form again. This was very redundant and a waste of time. The positive part of my visit, was the pharmacist that gave my shots. She did an excellent job. I received two shots, and they were perfect sticks; I did not feel them. Overall, this Walgreens has everything you need, they just need to make their processes more efficient.
