I like the layout of this CVS, reason is the open entrance gives customers the welcoming space, which other locations usually give the cluttered and stuffed feeling.

Great location. The workers are fantastic. They just need more registers open at times. Other than that, great place to shop.

My medications are almost always in stock and if they need to order them - they are available the next day. Most regional chain pharmacies will make you wait 3 days if they have to order them. In addition - they deliver your medications if you are unable to pick them up. Delivery is smooth and simple. The staff is always so nice and so very helpful with any of my questions. I recommend them to everyone!

Nirvana: an ideal or idyllic place. Under this definition, it would be more appropriate to rename…read moreBonhamtown Pharmacy as Nirvana Pharmacy, because surely I have died and gone to Heaven to have found such an amazingly run pharmacy. Having spent my entire life working in customer service, I can say, without a doubt, that one rarely finds a business so proficiently run as this one. Upon first look, one might think this pharmacy to be limited due to the modest storefront and interior, however, I assure you, it is everything but. The store is pristine in its cleanliness, as one would expect from a newly opened establishment. The retail shelves are stocked with some medical necessities as befits a tiny brick and mortar pharmacy, but do not be fooled by the size of the storefront, as the pharmacy itself is sure to be able to fill the prescriptions your doctor has ordered. In addition to actually having my medications filled quickly, this pharmacy should be the model for all pharmacies worldwide when it comes to customer service! I was greeted as soon as I entered the store,by a friendly, smiling associate behind the counter. When I informed them that I had some questions for the pharmacist, it took a few quick seconds for the pharmacist, and owner, to greet me with a huge smile and amicable persona, introducing himself by name. After showing him the list of medications I take regularly, he assured me he could fill all meds when needed. He then offered to contact my pharmacies and have all existing scripts on file with them, sent over, making my transition to Bonhamtown Pharmacy a wonderfully efficient and painless process. After we went over my meds, he gave me their business card and I shook his hand whilst expressing my relief and gratitude to have found his pharmacy. For the first time in my life I left a pharmacy feeling assured by, and happy with, the customer service experience I had just had. Since that awe inspiring first experience, I have had multiple scripts filled by them. My scripts have been filled QUICKLY, and I was always informed by phone call and text that my prescriptions were ready. The pharmacy also uses email if requested. Their impeccable customer service is accessible, as well, by email and two way text (not just automated texts). They are always easy to contact and quick to reply if not immediately. I have encountered other patrons along the way who also freed themselves from big pharmacies, and they all have expressed the same gratefulness for having found such a greatly run pharmacy. In fact, I have never encountered an unhappy customer while at this pharmacy, which, in and of itself, speaks volumes! Pharmacy giants like Walgreens, CVS, Target, etc..., may have huge stores stocked with everything from auto care to frozen dinners, but that's all to distract you while you wait unbearably long times for your script to be filled by one of a multitude of unhappy drones working the pharmacy counter who don't know you from anyone else they've dealt with that day. Those massive chain pharmacies make you feel like just a number, and, due to being understaffed with overwhelming volumes of scripts they have to fill, they often (VERY OFTEN) make mistakes which are extremely challenging to have corrected. The list of negative traits inherent in these corporate giants goes on and on, but this isn't a review for their horrific customer service. I mention big corporate pharmacies because I feel like I have finally freed myself of a decades long abusive relationship and found the perfect one. The sigh of relief I expelled, when I first realized this, was one which I felt on a deep, soulful, level. I HIGHLY recommend Bonhamtown pharmacy, whether you are getting just a one time prescription filled, or have many that you need filled often. They are personable and very helpful, provide their services on a personal level, and you can be assured that you are in good hands! Even if you don't live close to this pharmacy, it is worth driving to for something as important as medications; I know I would. I would drive hours for exemplary service like theirs, especially since medications are not something I want dealt with lightly and haphazardly. I look forward to a long and happy relationship with them as my new pharmacy. THANK YOU, Bonhamtown Pharmacy, for being an Oasis in a desert of inept pharmacies! In me, you have found a customer for LIFE and I have FINALLY found a pharmacy that knows what they're doing!

Rarely can this Walgreens fill my prescriptions in full. I am constantly charged the same price for…read morea partial fill as I would be for a full fill. Now that I see this is a recurring issue at this location, I genuinely wonder if it is intentional. They also fail to report the fill correctly to my insurance company. As a result, the insurance company denies coverage for the remainder of the medication because Walgreens reports it as a "refill," even though they never provided the full prescription in the first place. For example, if I'm prescribed a 7-day course of antibiotics that should cost $5 with insurance, they will only give me 3 days' worth--still charging $5--and then I am forced to fight with the insurance company to get the remaining 4 days covered. This delay means I lose time between doses, which can make the medication less effective or not effective at all causing the medical issue to come back worse. Walgreens' suggested solution was that I pay the full cash price and use their $2 off a $100 prescription coupon, even though it should have cost me only $5 for a complete fill instead of $103 and wasting my time on three different runs to pickup the medication. They expected me to literally pay for their mistakes. They also refused to call the insurance company to correct their error and told me it was my problem. Days later the issue was finally resolved, but at the cost of my health. On top of that, the store has long lines, long wait times, and constant issues entering my insurance correctly. Despite all their problems, the staff has the AUDACITY tp frequently behave rudely. They don't consistently notify me when a prescription is ready, yet they will call me during the workday and rudely tell me I have four hours to pick it up or they will cancel the order. Final straw -They told me their system had flagged one of my medications for a drug interaction, but they claimed they couldn't see what the interaction was--so they removed the warning, gave me my medication, and basically said may the odds be ever in yoru favor. I reached out to my doctor's office, I had to wait for my doctor's office to inform me that taking the new prescription with my current medication could cause a cardiac event.

I am an action figure collector and sometimes Walmart has exclusive toys you can only get on their site and/or in their stores. Their web site was sold out of the specific figures BUT they showed as available to order and pick up at this store so I put in orders for four toys total, two of each character. For your reference, one of them was the "Retro G1 Gears" in my attached pics. I drove almost 40 mins to get to this store (my local Walmart had nothing) and when I get to pick up, the people there were very busy but perfectly nice (which is why this is a 2 star review instead of 1). They brought out my items and I instantly knew they were the wrong ones (see "Studio Series" Bumblebee in my attached pic). The items I wanted were on bright, colorful cards with bubbles attached. The ones they brought me were in black boxes. The character names were not the same either. Concerned, I took them over to the aisle where the correct items should have been and of course, two of the four items I wanted were sold out. I wound up purchasing the two items I DID want and cancelling the online order. You don't need to know anything about action figures or collecting to have gotten this right. All you need to do is know how to use your eyes, look at an order and match up the item in the Walmart.com listing to what is one shelf. Don't want to do that? Use your handheld scanner and scan the SKU to make sure it matches. Clearly none of this was done. Whoever pulled my order just thought any old Transformer would do which is bizarre. If I ordered a $200 vacuum cleaner, would they just randomly pick say, a $100 one to give me? No. Customers should get what they ordered - full stop. I really used to like this Walmart but this kind of elementary screw up is really surprising. Clearly whoever pulled my order had little to no regard for customer service. Be warned. If you put in a pick up order, you may not get what you paid for.

I came to Metuchen to run errands, more specifically to go to Boyt Drugs to see if they had medical supplies for my family member. Parking is at a premium in Metuchen, but I found Boyt had a few spaces in a parking lot. I decided I would park at Boyt, walk to the cleaners, AHCS, and make Boyt my last stop before leaving. As I exited my vehicle a man in plain clothes came from behind his vehicle to advise me that I could not park there. I excused myself and asked if he was speaking to me, the only other person and vehicle in the parking lot. He repeated himself, told me I couldn't park there, and pointed to the tow sign, which I saw when coming into the lot with the intention of being a customer. The self described "owner of the parking lot" made me so uncomfortable. I chose to move my car onto the street. I went to every other business I planned, however, due to his aggressive nature I would rather drive to South Jersey to get the one item I needed from Boyt Drugs. Furthermore, a little research revealed that the parking lot is owned by Metuchen. The individual that chose to speak to me is the owner (based on public records I was able to pull from his license plate - the vehicle he doesn't even own outright). The bottom line is, please be kind to everyone. You never know who you are encountering. I'm sure it is frustrating to see other businesses flourishing around you, however, you never know when there could be an opportunity to turn someone into a customer; or in this case totally turn a customer away. I undoubtedly would NOT recommend Boyt Drugs for any medical need.

In the case of Bell Drug, I can only advise to stay away. I work for a Dr in the Edison area, and many of our patients ask for their prescriptions to be called into Bell. Bell is slow and inaccurate, leaving our patients suffering and waiting all day for a simple antibiotic prescription to be filled. For example, today the Dr called in a prescription for an antibiotic at 10:45 am. The patient was in pain from a bad infection and the Dr wanted her to start the antibiotic immediately. Our patient called us several times throughout the day to let us know the pharmacy hadn't called her yet to say it was ready for pick up, and when she tried calling them, the automatic message said her prescription had not been filled.
