Occasionally I'll buy some items here. I wouldn't say prices are egregious, that wouldn't be fair. But Walmart not too far away also wins in this department. The current development of the pharmacy now being closed on weekends couldn't be more untimely or befuddling. Can we predict when we need medication? Can we predict when we get sick? My work/life schedule doesn't always allow me to visit during the week. My wife really needed something this past weekend, and when I pulled up I whispered to myself, "not surprising, but oh so annoying." Other customers felt the same, with one audibly yelling something more profane. Well, they still got me. I ended up buying two random things while I was there. The texting systems at Walgreens needs to be completely updated…read more Over the last few years I received multiple texts stating I have no more refills left on individual prescriptions. And then said if I wanted them to contact my doctor to ask for additional future refills to Reply, yes So I said yes, and what proceeded to happen was a request for a second refill (knowing that I had no refills left and that I just picked one up). This was a tremendous waste of my time, my Dr's time, as well as the staff at Walgreens time. This is not the only erroneous text that I have received. Also, the online ordering system is defective. Every time I think it's going to work quicker I fill out all the information needed for refills, I unfortunately have several. And then it says that an error has come about and nothing has been ordered, please try later. I have tried this probably a dozen times over the years and it is unacceptable. If these issues are not resolved, I will have no choice, but to go to another pharmacy that has good communication and takes to consider my time as well as as their staff members and their pharmacist time.
