New to the area. Thought it would be great with the drive thru. It is HORRIBLE. The tech told me to come inside because it would be easier. Easier perhaps for her, but not for me. So the blonde gets all snippy. Come to find out, they LOST my Rx transfer from Giant. I called Giant who was the best and got it sorted out. On other occasions this CVS was horrible in filling our other Rx too. Always too busy. It's a several day wait to fill. There is one tech there that works hard to get things right, but her best effort is not enough. It is All just HORRIBLE. I was stunned to read in other Yelp Reviews this has been a long term issue. Disgusting bathroom and waiting area. Bathroom looks like it was cleaned 3 years ago and the waiting area seats are filthy. Yuck.

I've never had really a problem at a pharmacy until coming to this location. They never have any of my medication in stock first off, so when I drop something off I have to return the next day. Then they lost 3 of my prescriptions when I did return. Their pharmacists will go on break and never submit your prescription so you'll end up waiting an hour and not even know that they never even put it in the system. While the store part of this cvs is fine their pharmacy is horrible. I have had many issues with getting my medicine at this pharmacy. This time that inspired me to write this review however is the worst it has ever been. I have been there twice now and have yet to even be able to drop off my prescription. Although I am out of med's in 4 days. Once because their pharmacist said it was "to early" even though all I wanted to do was drop off to pick up at a later date. And once because their pharmacist was on break and I would have to wait around 30 mins to see if and when they would be able to fill my prescription. I would use a different pharmacy except they are my hmo's prefered provider and they are the closest to my house. Be warned and stay away if you are trying to get a prescription filled. read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE! Wish I could give it zero stars. Pharmacy is completely disorganized. Prescriptions are lost and then found. Not ready when they say they are. They never answer the phone. And I've currently been sitting in the pharmacy drive through for 43 minutes now. (Can't go inside because I have 3 kids ages 3 and under in the back seat & nothing with me to put them in) Finally at the window after all this time and the pharmacist is sitting at the computer with ZERO customers in front of her.) read more

Omg today I called the pharmacy and nobody picked it called again same thing been on the phone a good half hr already n then spoke to the manager twice and still nobody picked up. Not even a hold on I'll get back to you nothing. If somebody was in need that's really bad no matter how busy you are. Thanks now I got to drive all the way there. read more

I have been a customer of this CVS now for about 13 years.. They have their good and bad, but now they have messed up so bad and crossed the line to endangering my health, that I am taking my business somewhere else immediately and permanently. Diabetics like me should not be off their medications, and due to the egregious and inexcusable negligence inefficiency and irresponsibility of the staff of this CVS (Dumfries on Jeff. Dav. HWY), I have been without the main diabetes medication (I'm prescribed 3 of them) for THREE WEEKS PLUS now!!! CVS and their staff are 100% responsible for this delay.. The reason I am writing this is that I am experiencing symptoms now, and if I am admitted to emergency at any point because of high glucose levels, or if I acquire any of the adverse and dangerous conditions related to it, a definite and immediate lawsuit will be filed and put in motion against this CVS and CVS in general for employing unqualified staff that endanger their patients' health and lives with their inefficiency and irresponsibility. Hopefully that will deter them from ever doing the same to other patients. read more

The worst Pharmacy ever. The customer service needs major improvement. They are not welcoming people. They all looked unhappy to be at work. When picking up a prescription from the drive through the pharmacist always seem bothered. Every time I go to pick up a prescription there is a issue with their system. I used to work in retail so I know what good customer service should look like and quite frankly this pharmacy doesn't have it. The front of the store is awesome, very friendly but the lines are always backed up with just one cashier. Getting in and out of this CVS is very unlikely. read more

I swear if I could give them a 0 I would. The front end of the store is awesome and they will get you but the pharmacy...that's another story. They are always slow, and they never greet you in a timely manner. Yesterday situation was just the tip of the iceberg and the reasoning and the reasoning why I am now typing this review. I called yesterday on my lunch break around 1:30PM and asked if my prescription was ready for pickup. The young man said it was still being refilled. I asked him would it be ready today and he replied, yes. I got off of work at 6, went to the gym, then headed to cvs and got there are 7:45 PM. I was a little sore from the gym so I decided to wait in the drive through line, three cars were ahead of me. After sitting there for about 15-20 minutes, I got to the window and asked for my prescription. The young man said, "Oh we need about five,ten minutes." WHAT?! I called at 2:30, why isnt my prescription ready?! His reply? "Oh Im not for sure, but there is another car behind you so if you can just pull back around so we can help them then have your prescription ready." If I was the rude person, I would of told him that wasnt my problem and would wait there! Instead after being at work all day and the gym, I just drove off and came back this morning to pick up my prescription smh. read more

Extremely frustrated. I was in need of a money order of $975. Both the cashier and I counted $975 but it was actually $955. The lady could not cancel the order so the lady asked me to get the extra 20 from atm. I told her I was in a time crunch and I had to be at where I had to be by 2. The lady said she can't cancel the order and she said "it will take too much time, I can't cancel the order" she asked me "just go get 20 dollars from the atm n I told her no. I don't want to pay $3 plus the $3 from my bank. (Yes, I was being petty) but the fact she's telling me she can't cancel the money order is what blew me. She can do it. She just didn't wanna take the time to do it! I'm sorry but I deserve to get what I'm paying for. I told her I don't mind waiting it's not that I cared about that, I was gonna be late anyways. It was 150pm already. Her name is Deepa and I honestly feel like she should not be in charge of this store. I'm was so upset. read more

This CVS pharmacy is the worst of all kinds. the pharmacy have you on long holds then they answer and asked for you to hold even longer. Medication that you use on a regularly monthly basic they are always out of or never have your full amount that's prescribed. Yet, the CVS is charging you B.C.B.S plan the full amount. Medications such as Bidil a heart medication, blood pressure medication and etc. They ( CVS) say they care.for you. It's time to give other pharmacy in the area a chance. Too many excuses here it's time to move on. read more
