Step right this way. They still have little magnetic calendars for your kitchen with their info on it (free of course). Surprisingly it has the correct date when you would not be surprised if it read "1963." Honest to goodness, go into this place and look around, it will blow you away. I'm afraid and hopeful at the same time that I'll walk out and the parking lot will be filled with giant 60s American cars, and I will be back in the Kennedy era. Hasn't happened yet, but we'll see. I know it was anxiety because it went away as soon as she calmed down. The pharmacist directed me to call her pediatrician to ensure it would be OK for her to still receive her 2nd dose there. Talked to her pediatrician, and he said it would be fine because she didn't have any breathing problems and it was likely anxiety. Called the pharmacy to confirm her pediatrician was fine with her getting her 2nd dose from the pharmacy. Arrived at pharmacy for the appt and was told they couldn't give it because she had an allergic reaction. Nobody told me that. They made it even worse by saying she could have an even worse reaction from the 2nd dose in front of her. I don't know if they were trying to make me feel like a bad parent, but if my doctor says it's OK, it's OK. Called my pediatrician who offered to speak with the pharmacist himself, and they still refused. No available appts anywhere, so now we have to wait another week for the second dose. I am beyond angry about the lack of communication. I could've made an appt elsewhere had I known they were going to do this. Below is proof of a text confirming the appt so again no communication they weren't going to give it. Why would they be OK with giving them at all if they are so concerned about allergic reactions. It was obvious there was no protocol of what to do should it happen. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!
