Worst pharmacy! Don't use them. Go to Walgreens. Rude people at the pharmacy that won't help you and Terrible service. Phones are always down, you have to ask them to bill your insurance otherwise they will make you at the whole bill without even checking with your insurance...... Yes this is strange but true. Look at all the bad reviews that's all you can expect from this location as well as the location in Aubrey. I plan on writing the same review for them. Save yourself the trouble go to Walgreens. This pharmacy usually has very long lines for med pick-up. Both in-store and in the drive-through. They are grossly understaffed. The pharmacist and techs often appear frazzled, frustrated, irritable and exhausted. There is an error every month in my medications. The most common problem is their inability to fill NP Thyroid orders, which isn't a medicine able to be skipped for a few days. Despite receiving text messages that it is ready for pick-up, it's usually out of stock when I go in to get it. Today, I received a CVS text message that NP Thyroid had been recalled and to call CVS. I did and was on hold for 2 hours - no one ever answered the phone. Having been in line when others have called, I've watched staff just continue working while it rang and rang and rang and rang... They've grown deaf to the sound of it. I really want to like this pharmacy. I feel for the employees who clearly lack leadership. It's not their fault corporate is too cheap to hire the help needed to meet the demands of the community. The chronic understaffing of this particular pharmacy results in medication errors, poor customer experiences and overall risk to customers. It is inexcusable to not answer a ringing phone for 2 hours (I just left it on speaker while I worked in my office). This is a pharmacy - people's health and lives depend on their efficiency. I'm trying again to call them and it has been 21 minutes of ringing so far - no answer. Thankfully, my medications are free if I fill it here but that's the ONLY reason I continue to use CVS. Drug Emporium and Kroger are way more efficient and responsive to customer needs. CVS corporate - help these poor employees out! You're doing us all a disservice! read more

I love the hours (24-7) and it is convenient to my home. Sometimes they are too popular, though, and can get slammed and you have to wait 3 hours for your prescription to be filled. read more

If I could leave a negative star review I most assuredly would. Having had received a phone call that my sons medication would be ready by 7 pm I waited an almost full 24 hours to pick it up because CVS in all their glory has a tendency of dropping the ball. Well they didn't disappoint in that area. After getting there and finding out that there's no prescription to be found and them saying we're SOL till we come I in and speak to the pharmacy manager on Monday. So here we are on Saturday with no medication and nobody willing to get off their ass to look or do actual work that they're getting paId for. I will say this though, Allison was the only professional pharmacy tech in there that wAs doing her best and for that I'm grateful, my advice to her is to find another location to work at. Also Delaney is about the only other helpful person there that's willing to go the extra mile. Other than that I've never been treated so disrespectfully by someone sitting on their ass behind a counter basically telling me it's not their problem. If you can do without your meds for days on end or perhaps have a death wish then I recommend, if not then I suggest going elsewhere. read more

I typically really like dealing with CVS for prescriptions and related things, but this location has a serious problem with not enough staff working the pharmacy drive-thru. This is not about writing a bad review after one time waiting in a very long line. It has happened repeatedly over the last year and a half since this became my new CVS. I know this is a busy neighborhood, but management needs to figure something out, as I've never seen a CVS with wait times this bad. I have no idea know how this location maintains any semblance of customer loyalty with this mess. read more

Been using this location for years. Pharmacy is usually slammed so I make sure to stay on top of my refills and try to stop by during dead times if I have questions or problems. I work in the medical field, too, so I try my best to make sure they feel like they are doing a great job with my medications. I also like that the rest of the store is easy to navigate and are usually well-stocked. I never spend more than a minute or two inside. read more

The only reason I am giving one star is because it is open 24 hours. They are always too busy without enough staff! Nothing like getting a text saying that your prescription is ready, driving to the store, waiting in line, and they put it back, or gave it to someone else. Moving my prescriptions soon, considering going to a place with better customer service and with scripts in stock!!! read more

If you are required to use CVS by your insurance company, there is another CVS near UNT or one in the Target on 288. Both are actually able to fill med orders in less than 6 hours. The CVS on university is absurdly unorganized and slow. Go somewhere else. Was told my prescription would be ready in 4 hours, came back in 4 and a half hours, was told it would be another 45 minutes. This is not a one time occurrence. This is standard wait time for them. No other pharmacy in the area takes this long. On a previous visit I was picking up medications for two children. My insurance info was in their system on one child but not the other. Rather than take my info right there, they made me get out of line, wait to talk to another associate to give them my insurance, then go back to the end of the line. Took me about 30 minutes longer to pick up a prescription that was ready, because they made me wait in two separate lines. It's a good example of how inefficient and disorganized they are. read more

If you would like to use a pharmacy that repeatedly loses prescriptions from multiple doctors (despite this never happening at any other CVS with the same doctors) and then claiming the prescription never arrived, then this is the perfect pharmacy for you! read more

My wife had me pick up some asthma medicine for my child on the way home today. I picked up the medicine, the lady who cashed me out was pleasant and smiled. Once I got home, my wife told me they were suppossed to give me two inhalers. She checked the receipt, and we were charged for two. She called the store and spoke with a young lady in the pharmacy. My wife explained the situation, and the response was "my bad just cone back and pick up the other one.". Needless to say, my wife was unhappy about the lack of compassion. CVS is a 27 minute or so drive from the house. My wife then asked to speak to a manager. The young man that answered, was named Tom. Unfortunately, he said "we had an oversight, just come back and pick up the other one.". This was on speaker phone and in a condesending tone. That set my wife off! She asked for a corporate number, and he gave her the number an Irving, Tx location. The Irving location told my wife they don't have a corporate number. My wife then called the store on University back, and the young lady that picked up the line and gave her 1800shopcvs. This visit has really become a headache, I understand people make mistakes. It would be greatly appreciated if those that are responsible for delivering customer service would be professional with their responses and a little sympathy would be great too! read more
