Pharmacy line going into the aisle.
    Zack H.

This location has become a headache. It doesn't matter if you call ahead, your medication will not be ready when you get there. Also, you may have to wait in their very long line to the pharmacy before you find out. I'll be switching pharmacies soon.

This rating is a split between my opinion of the pharmacy and the staff of the actual retail store. To be fair, I am going to admit that I am not a frequent customer of this location, so take that as you will. Since this location is down the street from my home, I honestly tried to use this a lot in the past since our old insurance was through CVS. It seemed every single time I had to go to the pharmacy there was some sort of problem and I didn't find the pharmacy staff to be especially friendly or helpful. In fact, I cannot remember a single time the prescriptions were ready when I was told they would be and I typically wasted gas on multiple trips. Honestly, I started using the one on Teasley and only came here for more emergency situations. I always regretted those though. During those visits, if I needed anything from the store, I would just grab it and pay at the pharmacy. About 2 years ago we switched insurance and now use Walgreens so I recognize that things could have changed. However, I did stop in last year and asked about the blood pressure machines they sold and the pharmacy staff was still unhelpful. So the majority of my visits since then have been to get something from the actual retail store and most of those have been in the last 3 or 4 months. I typically come on a weekend, around mid morning. The staff that is working at that time is incredibly nice and they try to be helpful. I also want to recognize that they have done a great job in stocking their location. Almost every weekend morning visit (I believe more often on Saturdays, but occasionally on Sundays) they have been stocked in the paper goods that regular grocery stores were out of, of course with purchase limits. It may be more expensive, but when you are out of toilet paper or paper towels then I'm sure that can be overlooked more often than not. My personal win with this location was a couple of months ago when I was looking for a thermometer and had struck out at eight different stores. They had three types, starting at $8.50 and it was such a relief! The following weekend I stopped in to get something else but I walked by the same area and saw they still had a good supply of thermometers! That initial visit though, all I wanted was the thermometer and their server had gone down. They were actively trying to fix it and couldn't even take cash at that time. We left it with them at the counter and went out to our car to wait for 10-15 minutes before planning to check back in with them. A few minutes later one of the staff came to the door and waved us in with a big smile. I couldn't believe they made time to do so, they were not slow by any means! So if you need to stop in to the store, raise the rating and know that I recommend. If you need to stop in to use the pharmacy then lower the rating and go to the Teasley or Corinth (2181) locations instead.

When my prescription is ready, I receive a text message notifying me to pick it up, and even if I do not receive a text, and call, they are consistently very polite. I have visited other pharmacies where the clerks seldom engage in conversation; however, Community ensures that they communicate with me every single time.

Although this may be legally sufficient to cover their a**s, it lacks integrity, transparency and honesty. When I was talking to the staff person during my merchandise selection and said I wasn't sure the merchandise was what I needed, I may need to check, that would have been an opportune time for the sales person to say, "Well, all sales are final so you may want to make sure first". Or at least have a clearly visible sign at the register stating all sales are final. No, it's in small print at the bottom of your receipt with no notification until you try to bring it in for a return. Not returning here, in any meaning of the word. Shysters.

I meant to edit my review, by deleting and rewriting…read more.. I guess I'm adding to it. STILL HORRIBLE. They never communicate, and I need to call them, leave a VM to ask them to fill the RX that was sent. I never think to need to contact them. I assume they'll fill it, and if they don't, then they would contact me to say they aren't filling it. And why. It's a sealed (uncontrolled) bottle of fluid. No pills to count. Seems easy enough to just process it, and if it comes down to me arriving and saying: "oh no! My insurance won't cover it? So tragic!" Then I'll just pay the $34. If not, they can just put it back if I seriously refuse to find ways to cover what I clearly must have. They also never did a transfer I requested, then the next day (today) I call to find this out. That's where I just had a new RX sent there instead, because they clearly don't want to be bothered to do a transfer I guess. At least they call me back when I leave a Vm (the latest way to speak to a pharmacist) and that's where I said to please just fill the RX and I'll pay the $34 without insurance. And I was actually very kind and humble, but they hung up while I was asking when it'd be ready. Which prompted me to write this update: They still suck. And they're still the only 24/7 pharmacy nearby... So I still go there.

CVS Store at 3200 Teasley Ln, Denton, TX 76210 and the Store phone number - (940) 382-1810…read more On April 29, 2026 at around 6pm First just let me get to the point. I would highly recommend patronizing this CVS store for the rest of your life because of one employee. "Sean" I was already having a bad day dealing with the situation that I was in trying to get a photo printed out. This young man Sean. Took patience, time and showed respect and commitment to the customer. Having a positive experience in his store. Mr. Sean went far beyond service to the customer and giving me the necessary respect and support that I needed just for a simple picture. He had no real idea of the stuff that I had been going through just to get this picture made. Mr. Sean show dedication and caring. Whatever it takes, just to get the customer to be satisfied with his great service is a masterpiece and tour de force. Thank You Sean and Thank You CVS from a loyal customer for life
