Unfriendly so one of the worst cvs experiences I have had. And lady in front of lady in front of me in line paid all in quarters and took too long. Then lady in front of me did a long return/exchange that took so long. I was buying for two separate households, but only thing for my house was cigarette lighters (a 2-pak). When Cashier (receipt indicates cashier was Abed) realized I was doing segregated purchase for two (2) different households he started to become very rude and started lecturing at me "you should have ...." but he stopped there never finishing his sentence about what he believes I- a cvs loyalty member- SHOULD HAVE done instead AND he decided to take the person in queue (the line) behind me before coming back to cash me out for the other four items, including a cvs lotion & hand soap, for my family member. I did not appreciate that he was rude and took the person, in line, before me before finishing with me but fir some unknown "cashiering reason" it seems he had to. He did not know how to make change from cash- NY first Cig lighter purchase- and had been arguing with me about how I did not give him .17 cents. I explained nicely to him that I did not have a nickel in my wallet so I gave him 2 dimes and 2 pennies in hopes he could give me a nickel. After I finished paying for credit card purchase for separate household and asked for a hard-copy receipt he (cashier) became even more agitated and refused to thank me yet I said "thank you" to him. Go figure. The store is cold with regard to its customer service as well as it's flooring as there is no typical carpeting in this store ... just a cold, bare floor. I will avoid this store for the timebeing. A lady in line behind me also had speakerphone on full blast. Store seemed chaotic. read more

Dare I say!! Yes. I have been dealing with the pharmacy now for months for a friend who doesn't drive and needs help. I am never able to get to the pharmacist. If you call all you get is a machine telling you to use the app and then you can never get in the app. Let alone can the person 83 work the damn app. So when we call to set things up it takes over an hour to finally get to a human. Then forget trying to fax a script in they always say they didn't get it. I get once in a while things go wrong. But every month it's the same issue over and over. Then when we have a script that we tell them to stop filling and every month they call and say it's ready for pick up. Some of these meds if I would let the patient take would have not ended well. My wife and I made an appointment on line for our Covid vaccine. We input all our information plus gave them both of our insurance information. This would be our third vaccine at CVS. When we arrived 10 days later I was denied the vaccination because my insurance didn't cover it. But huge sign outside said "free COvid vaccines" Wasted my time. Asked for a "red white and blue" card. What!? You mean a Medicare card? Like I'm 3 years old. Bye bye CVS. You could have contacted me days ago to tell me I wasn't coved. You didn't. Ashame I could not give this pharmacy a zero. I moved my scripts from BerraCasa to this location due to moving. I have automatic refills that once I need more refills they automatically call my Doctor. Yesterday when I asked when the med would be ready I was told I have no refills. I asked don't you contact the doctor? The response was "it would probably go quicker if I contacted them". The above along with creating a VIP script pick ups are ridiculous. read more

Choose any other pharmacy than CVS. First of all they have implemented a new policy where you can longer call and speak to a pharmacy rep over the if you try to call for any info you will be directed to leave a message and wait for a call back. So if there is a time sensitive matter that needs to be addressed you will either have to drive to the pharmacy just to ask a question or hope they call you back which they did not return my call which resulted in me not getting my prescription filled in a timely manner and ive been without my medication for 3 weeks now. Second , ive tried to drive in during normal hours of operation only to discover that they close the gates to pharmacy during their lunch break. There is no signage displayed on the hours of operation. Which has caused me to drive to the pharmacy 3 times just to ask a question. The pharmacist literally closed the gate in my face as he told me they were closing for lunch. I tried to tell him it was an emergency and my question would only require a quick check in the system to verify what the hold up on my medication was but he told me to have a seat and wait until they came back from lunch. They do not have patients best interest in mind . Seems like lunch break and closing down the whole pharmacy for lunch break is more important than actually helping out the patients who rely on getting their prescriptions filled. 3 weeks without my medication and 3 attempts to drive in still no medication. It appears they just make the ruls as they do. But ive never had a pharmacy refuse to answer the phone and require you to leave a detailed message and hope they call you back. Ill be changing pharmacies next month to a more reliable pharmacy that i can call if i have a question and does not shutdown the whole pharmacy in the middle of the day for lunch. Been the worst experience in my life only due to there nee rules. Basically doing everything they can to avoid the patient and customer service. Extremely unkind and rude staff in drive-thru pharmacy. Arrived for Covid testing and my confirmation code wasn't working, was asked my name at least twice as well as the confirmation code 5 times, I tried telling them I have an email from your facility as well as 2 separate texts with the same confirmation code, how can it possibly be incorrect? I tried getting clarification on this and the employee brushed me off by saying "I don't know" then treated me less than unkind, which I didn't deserve as I followed all the correct information that was given to me. All I wanted was some understand as to why I was being put in this position and was being treated less than satisfactory. I never liked CVS, but it keeps giving me reasons not to come back, unfortunately this was my local testing site so I had to go. Will not be returning. read more

I have been a longtime CVS customer, mainly as a matter of convenience, but my old location in Hollywood never gave me any problems and was always accommodating when necessary. I just moved to this area and needed to get my prescriptions changed over to a location up here in Deerfield. I was informed by old CVS that I need to call new CVS in order to make the switch. Well I called today finally (my work hours make it difficult to call or visit when they're open), and whoever finally answered the phone for the pharmacy was such a bitch that I just put in a transfer change to pick up at Walgreens from now on. Completely unprofessional, unhelpful, rude, and needlessly aggressive. I would rather not shop at CVS at all then have that woman have anything to do with my medication. read more

They just opened the new building and the one across the street closed down. It is so new and beautiful! I've been there twice and the workers have been friendly and I got check out quick. When I was walking around looking for something, someone asked me if I needed help. You can tell if someone looks lost, and it is really nice to be asked rather than having to go and find an employee. The only reason, I didn't give it 5 stars, is CVS is quite pricey in general, they don't know the meaning of the word discount. They do have some good offers if you have a CVS card. I get coupons emailed for 20, 30 or even 40% off a regularly priced item, and I click a button and it automatically sends it to my card. You have to be careful because they don't apply to anything on special, even if it's buy one get one 50% off and you only buy one item. read more

After almost 20 minutes of waiting in the drive-through, a piece of paper got taped to the window stating the phone was broken (while having helped the 3 cars in front of me) and the pharmacist shut the grate down on my face when I know this location has a window they can open for service. This is the closest CVS to my house in Boca, so I came here to get some protein drinks. They only had 10 cases out, and I bought 6, but my family wanted more. The cashier was very kind and went to the back to get me 4 more. The location is a bit annoying to turn into since you have to be driving south on military. The store itself is huge and well-kept. The floors are concrete, which I prefer because it's easier to clean. They had masks required and social distancing enforced at the checkout line, but there was no one or station of sanitizing the baskets. There was also no hand sanitizer stand, which most businesses have these days. I had a good experience there and will be back. read more

I was disrespected by SONIA, from pharmacy, when I was trying to provide feedback about the car pick up service. I was told to "get a life" and "don't you people have something better to do?". I was at no time disrespectful nor rude - I was only trying to provide feedback. I understand people can be stressed and frustrated but there is a line that should not be crossed: respect. This is a review only of the pharmacy. Staff is friendly but incompetent. Prescriptions are brought in and days later when you go pick them up, staff doesn't have or its not ready for pickup despite automated phone calls to the contrary. I brought in a few days ago three prescriptions. I was told they would be ready in one hour. I said I will pickup the next day. I came a day after that and they had no record of the three prescriptions. I spoke to one of the pharmacists. He found it buried in some pile with an explanation, now how did this get here. Went to the drive in first time to pick up my prescription. the customer before me was never waited on and finally left to go inside the pharmacy. When I reached the window and was waiting I finally peeped the horn for service. No face came to the window. Waited again and peeped the horn a second time. This man came to the window screaming and waying his arms yelling because I should roll down my window. I could not believe his reaction. I came in today on Christmas to buy some last minute gift cards. As I was checking out I asked the cashier why I didn't get charged any tax on the gift cards. I didn't ask for his name, but on the receipt the cashier name was Isaiah. He was very knowledgeable and gave me a fast and clear explanation and also explained to me the difference between a normal visa gift card and a gift card for something such as Starbucks. Overall, I'm very pleased with my visit and would recommend this store to anyone in the area. read more

What a shithole. I tested positive for Covid and one night last week the cough got really bad so I called the CVS and asked if they deliver. She said yes and asked what I needed. "The strongest cough medicine you have." She responded by saying that they only deliver prescription meds. I asked what the difference was, a delivery is a delivery and I live less than a mile away. "No!" So I asked if she could at least put it through the drive through and she said, "we don't do that." I said that you have a drive thru, I took my test there. "no!" I said that it's so hard just to get out of bed. She then told me to go someplace else. Her parents must be so proud and nobody at the store gives a shit. Ordered some pictures online on Saturday evening and was emailed to confirm that I should pick them up after 11 am. Went at 12:30pm on Sunday and no one was working at the photo center. It was pretty busy and there were a couple people at the cash waiting for the two cashiers... one of which ran right past us to get products for a customer. When the wave of customers cleared out, this particular cashier ran past us once again and didn't bother to ask if we needed help... so I approached the other cashier and politely asked if we could get someone at the photo center. She told me that she was responsible for service there but that she was tied up at the cash and could we please wait. At this point we've been waiting patiently for 10-15 minutes but we're starting to get aggravated. After what seemed like an eternity, the cashier called someone to the photo center... lo and behold it was the lady who stormed past us twice. She called out over her shoulder for our last name and she searched all the areas and couldn't find our pictures. She looked up the order in the system and realized it had never been printed - even though it was supposed to be finished almost 2 hours before at this point AND had been sent in the night before. Frustrated she asked us to wait another 10 minutes while they printed out the 24!!! pictures. We walked around the store for a bit and finally came back to get the pictures. Checking out at the counter was a complete pain - the cashier was very slow and rolled her eyes needlessly at my grandmother who is EIGHTY years old and unfamiliar with new technology (My grandmother kept putting her card in the wrong way and she kept saying "flip it", and after numerous attempts to yell "flip it" at my grandmother who clearly didn't understand that she wanted it "turned over", I had to intervene instead of her taking the card and doing it herself). Nasty customer service... maybe because they're severely understaffed... or maybe because they work in an area dominated by the elderly who are slow - either way step up your patience or give the job to someone who will appreciate it in this economy. At least the pictures came out nice, my grandmother has been showing them off. I'm just annoyed that she'll have to come back in a week to pick up the photo book I ordered for her online. read more

Great CVS! I stopped by because I was on my way home from running errands and I had a few coupons to pick up some items here. The store is a decent size! It wasn't very busy, and the parking lot wasn't too bad either. I was able to find everything on my list, and within a few minutes, I was on my way out of the door. The staff were pleasant here, the store was clean, and that's all I can really ask for! If you haven't done so already, be sure to get a CVS card because you can get CVS Extra Bucks on advertised items. (Pair your Extra Bucks with manufacturer coupons and you can get even more savings!) The main pharmacist there Mazin at that location is awful. My wife passed away in an accident and ever since He has played games with me and my medication. He plays God, over rules and will not communicate with the Dr.s who prescribe needed medication. In my mind it makes him incompetent. I have had zero problems with other pharmacys. Only him at that location. I have had to go around him to other locations for service with no problems what so ever. My local pharmacy cvsvwas denied my sons prescription today by Taylor the pharmacist who I believe judges. This cvs/ target pharmacy has been my go to for the past 20 years and today was told to go to a different pharmacy for your sons adhd meds or he or I will be red flagged because it's a controlled substance! Well as a mother of a child who has Adhd knows that and when his pediatrician writes the script it should be accepted. I hope that this issue is resolved or else I will be changing pharmacy. Just had a disappointing visit at the pharmacy here and it's important others are aware of the negligence by the associates there. I live in Boca however this pharmacy is close by so I go there. I was picking up medication for my toddler. The girl at the register was nice and she asked for my insurance card. No issues I just switched insurances so handed her our new one. She turns around to check it when another associate (Ari) stops her, glances at the card and says we don't accept that here. So the young lady comes back and tells me the medication is $270. She said she would try to find a coupon to see if she could reduce it. I thank her and also call my insurance provider (BC/BS) to check what was happening. It turns out I am covered and I relay that to the young lady. I ask if she had actually checked in the system or just taken the word of her colleague. Turns out it was covered. No apology ( of note I had also heard this Ari person tell the young girl that I should look for my own coupons, which ok fine I get it, but again, unnecessarily rude. I ask if I can check out a couple of items I had with me ( which they initially said they could do) and with a huge attitude they say they cannot ( I am now dealing with yet another person, not Ari or the initial young lady). Ok fine, after this the one that charged the correct copay with no explanation goes back to talk to Ari (the negligent one) and they start talking about me pretty loudly. I ask if they have something to tell me and they start shouting at me across the pharmacy area that they weren't talking to me and a bunch of other low class talk. All of this time the pharmacist ,Sonia, is just standing there. I ask if I can speak to her. She says she is on the phone so I wait for her. When she eventually comes over she asks what I need and I ask her if she just witnessed what was happening (she was standing there the entire time) I told her I understand people make mistakes. We are human, it happens but there is no reason to treat a customer like that. It's incredible that they not just make a mistake but also get defensive on top of that. Not a great combination and shows the maturity of the staff here. Really wish management or even the pharmacist had been more empathetic and not just quietly agreed with me yet overall did nothing. Word to the wise, always have them do their job and check the system. Don't just take the word of someone glancing at your card and telling you insurance is not accepted. Any pharmacist or reputable pharmacy tech would know better. read more

This particular CVS located at 1806 W Hillsboro BLVD Deerfield Beach, Fl has been my favorite CVS in the past. However, as of today it has been the worst horrible experience and I will no longer go to this location. The check out person did not know how to apply my cvs rewards coupons so the store manager was called over. The store manager was RUDE and preceding to pass me over to take the next in line even though she had been called to the front to expedite checking me out. I also had a rewards coupon for my Aveeno $30 purchase to receive .$14.99 gift set which she said they do not have. The store manager was overheard complaining about my being next in line to other customers which I was told by another customer that saw the whole episode. Another customer grabbed me on a the way out unsolicited and told me the bathroom looked like something from a third war country..it was disgustingly filthy!! She walked out of this store without making her purchase. CVS what is wrong with this picture. If you have staff that obviously doesn't know how to deal with customers or hate there jobs then get rid of them and hire someone that cares!!!! I just had the worst customer service experience of my life at the cvs in trail plaza shopping center on military on corner of Hillsboro. The cashier named teenisha Jefferson told me she was the wrong person to talk to because of the store disorganization and gave me the 1800number to call and complain and because of her attitude I asked to speak w manager and then told me she didn't have time for this and then told me I was the one being rude. After being approached by manger she told the manger I lied and she never said any of that and kept yelling at me as the stores customer and the manger had to tell her to stop. I love shopping at cvs but will not so so anymore is rather go to another walgreens or target or walmart of this is the customer service your stores are providing . That is not the way anyone should be talked to when they are spending a lot of hard earned money in a store with employees that get away with such Blanton disregard for there shoppers especially around the holiday season.
