I rarely do big shopping trips at CVS, as certain items have become a bit expensive. I only stop by occasionally for snacks, beverages, and personal necessities. I appreciate the savings offers I receive, such as 10%-30% off full-priced items or a specific dollar amount off my purchases. Sometimes I'm lucky to get a discount on an item I'm actually buying. At times I feel like I receive discounts too often. I'll use one or two on a purchase, then immediately get a new one, along with more via text and email. I frequent CVS for my prescriptions but also go to purchase other items a couple times a month . My insurance only works with CVS. Today, I did not get prescriptions as they close early on Saturdays. Whenever, I go through the drive thru it seems it always takes longer than just going inside. Many times I sit waiting for the person to wait on me. I have had them put me on hold in search for prescriptions and /or helping someone else, on the phone, or talking to another employee. I also had other customers stay on the lane for quite some time . If your dropping off that's what it means, it is not a wait for it.. go around and let the next customer be serviced. The employee sometimes is not paying attention as to who was on line first and will pick the closest lane all the time. I once saw a sign that said "do not hit the button to call them" .. strange I thought , then why is it there especially when they do not come to the window or pick up the phone to talk to you. However,there is a young man who has been working there for several months and he actually assists the customers. Maybe they got wind of the others and finally let them go. On to the store portion. CVS offers a "rewards program". Basically, you join and pay $5.00 a month this supercedes what you get monthly. You get a $10.00 credit to use monthly (so free $5); additionally, you can receive discounts off of various items. Coupons come when you print your receipt (best to do this). It's based on purchases you have made so you can receive additional discounts . Pay attention to the expiration date as it's usually only for a week or two not for the month. These discounts make many products cheaper than buying them at Walmart. There are a variety of items you can purchase . It's not just medicine and vitamins and OTC items but all products in various categories. This includes, but not limited to, H&B, household cleaners and items, office supplies, cards, wrapping paper, and gift cards, toys, F&B , flowers and plants, seasonal items , and a photo booth. You can also get a money gram and utilize the ATM inside. The Manager and Assistant manager at this location are always kind and helpful in assisting in any way you need. You can go to the self checkout or the actual register with an employee to check out. A quick store to run in and out of (unless your looking around for some more deals) and purchase your items quickly without taking a long time to get your items as it does in the larger chain stores. read more

Every time I come here, the workers are very nice and kind. Sometimes I'll have issues with my coupons or self check out will be acting funny. Customerservice associates are very nice and they always end up helping me and I always recommend everyone to be on the rewards Membership with CVS. You will get some great deals. read more

I was in the area and I needed to get some pain relief patches for my shoulder. They have a large selection to choose from. Name brand items as well as generic. I used my 30% off coupon. The store is nice and clean, when I walked in, I was greeted hello to the store, nice touch. Overall a nice CVS to get your basic stuff. read more

One of the pharmacy employees was extremely disrespectful and insensitive to my girlfriend while we were picking up a prescription. Also not to mention they didn't even have the prescription ready after over 24 hours of it being sent from the doctor. This establishment is laughable if I could figure out how to give them 0 stars I would. Hope that employee gets fired or retrained bro really needs to look in a mirror. read more

There is no better pharmacist than Nick at the Coconut Creek CVS location on Lyons Road. He is always there to accommodate and share love with all customers. I am blessed that he works at my Coconut Creek location. I will remain loyal to CVS Pharmacy because of Nick. Highly recommend! read more

"They absolutely fucking suck"..... would be an understatement, they had me sitting there for 30 minutes because it literally takes three of them to complete one task then it took them a second to check and tell me that my prescriptions weren't ready which I find odd because I got multiple calls stating that it was ready and when I went on the app it even said ready for pick up...however this isn't the first time that I've had an issue with this pharmacy so why am I even surprised.... read more

They are horrifically slow. Came for drive thru med pickup sat here beginning at 4:10p.m. and it's 4:53 p.m. and STILL have 3 cars ahead of me. One lane for pickup...obviously it's caused by the testing they are doing BUT they should have one lane designated solely for prescription pickup. This is ridiculous. Poor planning on management side. Finding another CVS cuz this one gets a failing grade. read more

Pharmacy has been closed each time I've gone (8am & 730pm) when the hours online say 8-10. I ordered my prescription here and haven't been able to pick it up. This could be very harmful for those with more serious prescriptions! read more

This is probably one of the worst places to drop off a script. The length of time for acknowledgement and service usually a minimum of 20 to 30 minutes regardless if your the only person in the drive thru. Staff is easily confused and have no sense of urgency. It's always usually a frustrating experience coming to this pharmacy. read more

This place blows. I sat in the drive through for the better part of an hour with just 1 car in front of me. The bone head kid that was getting my prescription was just wandering around talking to people while I waited for him to take care of me. Avoid this place like the plague! Today is Thursday. I turned 2 prescriptions in last Friday. When I came back later to pick them up, only one was filled. I let the person know that I had given him 2 scripts to be filled. He said that it was showing up in the system that it had been filled and that he'd have to call the help desk to get it straightened out. I called every day to check the status and have been told they have been unable to get through to the help desk. I have in the meantime been receiving texts everyday informing me that the prescription doesn't have a refill until June 20th. Yesterday they gave me the number to the help desk and said I could try to call. So, I did and IMMEDIATELY got through. The person tried calling the pharmacy and was unable to get through. My husband and myself tried multiple times today to get it taken care of and they either refused to help at the help desk because we weren't calling from the pharmacy OR they were still unable to get through to the pharmacy. It apparently depends on who answers the phone. Finally, tonight, after staying on hold with the help desk for 20 minutes, they were finally able to get in touch with the pharmacy. I was told the situation had been straightened out and the prescription was ready to be filled. The pharmacist said he didn't have the script. I asked him to check again. There it was. So I'm sitting here in the pharmacy waiting after being told it will be at least half an hour before they can get to it. It's not taking a half hour, it's taken 6 days. read more

This location is awful. It took 15 minutes for them to deal with the 2 cars in front of me. It then took 20 minutes at the window for the staff to even acknowledge me. In total I sat there waiting 45 minutes just to pick up a prescription... seriously? You may want to consider hiring people who don't look like they're barely out of high school because these boys don't know how to do their jobs, or at least very well for that matter. This is your standard CVS nothing special. I still prefer Walgreens. I think they are priced a dollar or two higher than other stores like Walgreens, Publix and Walmart. A 1lb snickers bar was 12.99 which I have seen for 9.99 at other stores.
