They don't deserve even 1 Star. They are horrible there. First of all what pharmacy puts an insulin pen in a zip lock baggy? That is unprofessional. How am I know it hasn't been tampered with? when they normally come in a four pack in a sealed up box. When I refused the one in the baggy and tried to give it back the pharmacist wouldn't take it. For the same reason I didn't want it, it could of been tampered with. So when I couldn't give it back, I dropped it. And drive off. Then I receive a call saying I can't get my prescriptions refilled there anymore for my display at the drive thru. She accused me of throwing it. And I didn't I dropped it. And told her go back and watch the footage. I talked to the manager twice didn't get no where. He acted like he didn't care. So I called people above all their heads. And that person wasn't happy to hear they treated a customer that way, it's discrimination. read more

They mess up my prescription Every. Single. Time! EXAMPLES: 1. It's "out of stock," when I go to pick it up, even though I got a text saying it was ready for pick up, and I'm told to call my doc to have the Rx transferred to another pharmacy to be filled. I do, and am told by my doc that CVS should've just given it back to me to take elsewhere. So, I go back to CVS, wait in line again, and am told it's NOT out if stock after all, buuut it won't be ready for 2 days! 2. They refuse to release my Rx, (after notifying me that it's ready and after I wait in line for 30 minutes), without additional info from my doc., Then I call my doc's office and it turns out the error is the pharmacy's. So I have to go back and wait in line, again (the wait is always crazy-long).. 3. They won't call my doc's office themselves, so I have to call, wait for a call back, then go back to the pharmacy. 4. They either don't answer their phone at all or put you on hold for 20 minutes+. I have waisted SO much time each month trying to get my Rx's filled at this pharmacy that I am switching pharmacies. In fact, my doc told me yesterday that he's had 3 patients, this week alone, ask to switch from CVS on Forest to a different pharmacy. The fact that CVS on Forest is conveniently located just 1/4 mike from my home doesn't outweigh the inconveniences they cause. read more

I recently had scheduled a COVID-19 test for the CVS drive through. Once I had got to my appointment and waited in line for 20 minutes with roughly 6 other cars, I received a text notifying me that my appointment was "Canceled due to a temporary closure." There was no other information as to why or how I could reschedule another appointment. Very frustrating and irresponsible. I will not be returning and I recommend finding another location to do your business. read more

I hate giving 1 star reviews but this pharmacy has earned it. In particular, Frank the pharmacist. My husband has been on low-dose Norco (5mg 4x per day) for years due to joint pain from an autoimmune disease. He recently had emergency surgery on an abscess that almost made it to the bloodstream. He spent 5 days in Enloe and his surgeon discharged him with Norco for the pain. Frank REFUSED to fill his Rx, saying that my husband has a pain contract with his regular Dr and Frank would not fill any prescription for Norco from a different Dr. My husband had to suffer with inadequate pain control for WEEKS before he could get in to see his regular Dr. I had to care for his wounds with only a mild topical analgesic, which of course felt like I was torturing my husband. I will never forgive Frank for the unnecessary pain and stress he caused my family, and I will never spend another dollar at any CVS location. read more

The pharmacy personal do not ever answer the phone. I can't even reach a manager to complain, because they don't answer the phone! I called the store manager and he said he would talk to the pharmacy manager, but nothing has improved. Even my doctors office had a terrible time getting thru. I have tried since March. It's July. I have tried all hours and days and no one picks up. read more

I just went in to this CVS on Forest Ave. in Chico, Ca. to get a copy done. It is Saturday May 7th at 7:15PM. I asked the person in the print/photo area how to work the scanner and computer and she had an attitude from the start. She just starred at me with a nasty stare when all I did was say hello. So I said it again and there was still an attitude. I had a major issue with her attitude when I asked her about which button to press on the computer as it moved to the second screen and she threw a box down in a rage to definitely convey to me that I am disturbing her and walked over to me in a very disgruntled manner. I said to her at that point that she is to drop the f'in attitude. Then I asked to see the manager. She then proceeded to tell me in a yelling voice that she is the manager and then she said to me to get out of the store that no one will help me here. I said no, I will not leave and that she is going to help me. She still proceeded on her idiotic tirade and I left when I felt the need to do so because she was becoming a waste of my time. I also told her that am going to report her for harassing a handicapped man and not helping him with a simple question. I truly hope action will be taken against this unprofessional so called manager. I certainly intend to take action against it. I didn't and don't tolerate being treated that way. I have been coming to this faculty for over six years and have never seen such outrageously discriminatory behavior. I have been a customer with my family of CVS for over 40 years and this is not the way that the CVS corporation rolls. This behavior is not tolerated. She truly should be terminated. I have been to their window four times and three of those visits I was treated like I pond scum. The pharmacy tech I interacted with during my last visit, was judging me based on the prescription I was having filled. It's completely unprofessional for someone to, in effect, insult me and question the professionalism and experience of my physician, or the reason why I might be prescribed a certain medication. The pharmacy department has a serious problem with leaving their morality and attitudes at home. I will not EVER shop at this pharmacy again, nor will any of my money be spend in a CVS store. We have the power to vote with our dollars and this is the only way we can assert our, in this case, our basic healthcare needs. I cannot convey how absolutely disturbing my experiences have been with the new CVS. read more

Tianna in the pharmacy helped me today and she is AMAZING. My insurance wasn't going to cover my medication for another month and a half and she personally called them and managed to get me the amount I needed to keep me healthy until my insurance kicked in, at a reasonable price. I can't thank her enough! She was excellent and willing to go the extra mile for a stressed customer. read more

My favorite CVS. The pharmacists and the majority of the staff, the staff that has been there for a while, goes out of their way to make sure that all of my prescriptions are refilled promptly, up to date, and sent to the doctor when needed. They have also spent time speaking with my insurance company if the situation called for it. Such individualized care. Absolutely amazing! The manager David is just awesome! He goes above and beyond to make sure none of my meds conflict with each other and when I have a concern with a medicine, eventhough the doctor said it was ok for me take, David goes above and beyond your normal pharmacist to make sure that my concerns are put to rest by taking the time to further research the medication if needed and how it reacts to my issues. As I've always said, many a times, our pharmacist knows more than our doctor. Jocelyn and David, as my pharmacists, also make sure that all of my meds are from the same company as they have been for many years, due to my gluten allergy. They are the epitome of what true pharmacists are supposed to be. Whenever I go in this store I am always greeted with a nice greeting and asked if I need help finding anything. Horrible service. Here's the deal, I understand that you guys are short staffed and you had to do overtime the other day but EVERYONE ELSE IS DEALING WITH THE SAME THING. So you going ahead and telling me to get a job because I am a young college student, YOU HAVE NO RIGHT. I Am full time college student with a full time job ALREADY! (and by the way, I work overtime as well practically everyday). I have worked hard to get where I am. I don't need someone to yell at me because I decided to come into the pharmacy while I was on hold for the 7th time. Im here to get my medication not to get told "get a job." Worst customer service I have ever had. In the past 3 days I have called 7 times with all of them on hold for 30 min or more and then i'm the one that gets yelled at?!?! and to be honest I shouldn't even be calling because my prescription should've been ready 3 DAYS AGO. Here's a little piece of advice, don't judge people from their age, height, weight, style, culture, skin ECT IT WILL GET YOU NO WHERE IN LIFE. you do not know my backstory so why do you even THINK it was ok to do that. read more

This place is terrible this has been my pharmacy for the last couple of years as I don't need prescriptions frequently but every time I've gone in to get for prescriptions filled the employees there are careless. I attempted to calL to see when My prescriptions will be ready to pick up and I was placed on hold I was on hold for more than 45 minutes waiting for somebody to tell me when I can pick up my prescriptions then when I finally got a hold of somebody they told me that they didn't have any of my information for my prescription nor could they obtain information for my prescription because they did not work in that department and if I need information I need to come in and ask the pharmacist myself but if I came in I would be helped right away. When I arrived I waited in line for 45 minutes my prescription was still not ready and it was sent in two days ago. Use any other pharmacy in Chico do not use this place You're likely to die from not getting your prescriptions before they're able to fill them or give you information on when they will be able to fill them. read more

I wish their pharmacy department is open longer, or at least their drive-thru. I got out of urgent care a little after 9 and I bolted to CVS but no luck. And, urgent care was also closed and couldn't transfer script. It's a total lose-lose for my flu. read more

I checked my prescription for antibiotics to treat a very painful uti and was told itd be ready at 8:45. So I figured I get off work at 9pm, I can swing by and grab it on the way home from work. After suffering through work, in a lot of pain, I get to the store and the pharmacy is closed. The pharmacy closing earlier than the store itself was not indicated on the locations information. Being very tired and in pain I figured I just ask the staff and see. I go up to the pharmacy section and explain that I'm in pain and I was hoping if there's anyway I can get my antibiotics. Instead of just giving me a yes or no answer, they criticize me tell me you should've gotten there sooner. I get frustrated. They get frustrated. And as the person who is in pain, seeking medication, I think it's incredibly poor employee conduct for them to berate and put down someone who started the sentence with "hey there I'm in a lot of pain from a uti is there any way.." To be met with anything but a simple yes or no. But instead I was mocked and ridiculed. And then to be berated for being clearly tired and upset. I'll be moving all of my medications from the pharmacy, aside from having to go there in the morning to pick up my antibiotics. Do not come here. The pharmacy is the absolute worst. Clearly the staff are overworked and frustrated. I don't want to believe that they would actually be this inadequate and frankly indifferent to the people who get their medications here. But I think a poor work environment has definitely facilitated them behaving this way. This is not the first time I've had problems with them, but I will make sure this is the last. We've been a CVS costumer for several years, but the quality of service has just been getting worse for about the past 18 months, so before COVID. we receive multiple notices that our prescription is ready and we go to pick it up only to be told that it is not ready and would not be ready for several hours or for the next day. This has happened several times. We also beep on receiving notices after calling and talking to someone in the pharmacy saying that the refill was not needed. It took at least two times to resolve this in person, because 3-4 phone conversations did not resolve the issue. Today, I made an appointment on line to have a glue shot. When I got to the parking lot, there was a large sign saying flu shots here with a location icon. It made it seem that that's where I had to wait to get the shot, specially since the app had an "I'm here button." After waiting a few minute, I re-read the tiny print saying that we needed to go in to the Pharmacy. Went to the pharmacy register to be told that the pharmacist went to lunch and would not be in for 30-40 minutes. I reminded the clerk that I had an appointment scheduled for that time. Her response was that they had no idea when appointments were scheduled. I said that I did not understand how that was possible. She just said that although times are available on the site, they are unable to see the scheduled appointments. It is all very dysfunctional and dismissive of customers' times and needs. I will probably be changing pharmacies. read more

This store is really convenient and it's close to where I live! Great customer service all around and the staff always helps with any of my needs finding something. Neat store and everything is stocked nicely, I was last helped by Brittney and she was awesome, super friendly and I appreciate her positive energy every time I go in there! This pharmacy has no accountability. I choose to go here because it was close to my house. Unfortunately I'm learning this cvs pharmacy portion does not care about their customers at all. In the field where you are the link between sick people getting the medication they need prescribed by a doctor you have to give an effort to care about the customer. If the pharmacy doesn't try to have the medication their for the customer and they have no real concern for them they put their life at danger. A lot of people are on medication that without it they could be in extreme pain, sickness, or even die. This pharmacy will put you on hold and never pick up, be late on your medication 75% of the time and treat you with very little to no respect. If you are like me and you need your medication on time and it could be life threatening to not have it; then avoid the pharmacy it will not be dependable. There needs to be more accountability for pharmacies and the pharmacists running them. I understand being a pharmacist is thrilling but show some respect and try and be a professional outlet because medicine is no joke. I will be talking to corporate accountability has to start somewhere. read more

The staff at the pharmacy has been extremely kind and helpful in filling our son's prescriptions. Often working with our doctors, insurance company or even other pharmacies to make sure our needs are met quickly and completely. read more
