The Makeup section has plenty of selections. More important, I love a staff that "owns" their job. The cash registers were busy, probably because others have found what a great store this is, the cashier for those who did not want to self check out, was energetic, helpful and smiling at everyone. She (Patricia - Zi asked before leaving) kept an eye on the self-check out stands (at least 6, thank you) to assure shoppers were not stuck in those sometimes looping instructions that do not make sense. On her way over to the section she efficiently grabbed a hand basket placing it where it belonged. It's uplifting to visit a store that is pulled together and cared for by the employees. I'll head up to these parts in the future. And, plenty of parking in their lot!

The cashier once told me it's because on uncontrolled theft at the store. I have had panhandlers stop me and ask me to give them money and product inside the store itself even with sales associates next to me. This felt dangerous not knowing how the people would react if I declined them. The store is dirty, many people brings pets into the store and management does nothing to stop this. It is very unhygienic that people are buying pharmacy items where pets are allowed to roam the aisles. Issues have been raised with Walgreens in the past but nothing is done to improve the instore experience. I recommend shopping at the CVS on South Port that has visible security and clean store environment . Sadly, it is apparent that Walgreens does not regard the safety and health of customers.

I have yet to get a prescription filled correctly at this location. The staff don't know what they're doing half the time and lack adequate communication with not only patients but with each other. I receive a call telling me my medication is ready to pick up when I arrive and they tell me that it's been pulled from the system. Based on the experience, I have had they also dispense incorrect dosage of medication routine routinely. I truly would not recommend visiting this facility if you need your medications filled unless you want to deal with errors upon errors and poor customer service. Save yourself the trouble and take the 10 minute commute up north to the Walgreens on Clark and Catalpa. If I could leave half a star, I would.

There's an armed guard inside, which honestly is insane. A gun? What're you gonna murder someone over some tide pods? One time I went in and there was this bigger dude standing looking right at the door, directly in front of it, in plainclothes, an unmarked white hoodie. As I entered I thought "is this guy a security guard or just weird, what is going on", and later I realized he had a gun in his waist. My dude is not actually watching the store, he's just eye-groping people as they enter, real big TSA agent who thinks he's a big man energy. Then if you want a deodorant you have to press a button and wait around for someone to let it out of its little jail. Dish soap in another little product prison, laundry detergent in another. And they don't even stock the decent brands of lots of stuff! You want the yellow Scott sponges for doing dishes? Sorry they've only got those crappy blue Total Home ones. They used to carry the normal sponges. Paper towels and toilet paper too, they only carry the Total Home garbage. Usually there are handbaskets you can use for shopping, but here at Aetna's penal colony for miscellany, these too are jailed, held behind the counter and dolled out to decent folk by the cashier. Everything about this place sucks. Don't go here. There's a Jewel with a pharmacy a block north, a Mariano's a few blocks east, and a Walgreens at Clark and Catalpa for everything else. Go to one of those and avoid this place, it's terrible.
