So I don't have any pics of the inside of the CVS which I have to work on but I more so wamted to give a shout out to Rashaun who was the cashier/attedant who assisted me. He was very kind and itnwas very late in the evening...pretty much around 12pm closing time and you would think he just started his shift. Having worked as a server in hospitality for many years, usually when it comes to closing time, the workers are wanting to go home, are cranky, or tired and the pep in your step starts to get drained. This was the opposite. Rashaun allowed me to leave some items on the checkout counter because I realized I forgot something and he gladly allowed me to leave the items there. There was also another girl who was cleaning and sweeping or vaccuming the carpet. You can tell they kep the store very clean and organized. It is on the smaller side, but I think that they had a nice array of things. I did realize though that some items I enjoy were out of stock and I also wish they sold eggs but that's okay. It would just be convenient if they did so. Overall, this is more of a review for the customer service which CVS is very well known for. I have always counted on CVS for my pharamcy needs but as of late I have kind of used it as a make shift grocery store for my low budget needs. Hopefully Rashaun's manager sees this review and makes him team lead or at least a trainer! read more

Great neighborhood CVS. Always there for me (good hours) in a pinch if I need common, everyday items and a few more specialized items like oat milk or various high-end ice creams. This CVS location is my go-to store. I usually love everything about it. But yesterday I have fallen a little out of love. The pharmacy staff are incredible. They always offer advice and answer questions. My prescriptions are always ready on time. The store itself is small and always neat and tidy. I appreciate the care that goes into keeping the place nice for its customers. I've been having issues with my CVS app and the glitches with it's coupons. I always seem to need a little assistance when I check out. Last night Jayla, the young girl at the check out counter was so sweet. She has such a great attitude and was very helpful. The manager was the opposite He was flippant and told me "Corporate will not let me help with this kind of stuff", although he could see my Carepass offer on my app. Then he just walked away. Kudos to Jayla for her diligence in doing what the manager would not. The bottom line is the new manager offers a style of service very much unlike the one before. Hopefully he gets his act together quickly. read more

It's a busy location but they messed up my order one time recently sweating I had filled diazepam when they actually gave me diltizam. I know they are close in name but they are both for something different. I had to bring in my bag and receipt it was a bad experience. People at the pharmacy are pretty rude and lack communication, I think that is because they are really busy? Then again I've seen lines like crazy at Walgreens with no issues. I go to this CVS a lot because I happen to live around the corner. I also happen to be one of the few people of color who live in the neighborhood. I've noticed an odd thing that seems to happen whenever I visit this particular CVS. I somehow always seem to be surrounded by staff who suddenly need to rearrange items that happen to be in the aisle where I am browsing. Or, whenever I use the self-checkout, suddenly that's when a staff member just so happens to need to come to the front register to pretend to check their text messages on their phone until I've checked out. Sometimes, I have even been aggressively followed around the store by staff who don't even bother to keep up the pretense of rearranging items. It feels like I'm being profiled as a shoplifter and these are attempts to montior me and make sure I don't steal. I've never seen staff do this with to any of the white customers in the store - only with me. I've seen white customers at the self-checkout ahead of me without a staff member in sight, yet when I arrive, *that's* suddenly when a staff member needs to come linger around the register area until I leave. It makes me deeply uncomfortable coming to this location, to the point where I seriously hesitate to continue to shop here, despite the convenience. For what it's worth, I *never* feel this way when I visit the Walgreens at Dearborn and Division, or even the other CVS at Clark and Division. It's just this one location. I understand that retail theft is at a high right now, but if you're going to utilize loss-prevention techniques, you have to make sure you're applying them equitably to all customers who enter your store, and not just the ones who match your biased assumptions of who you think is most likely to shoplift. read more

I phoned for a prescription and asked the woman in pharmacy when I could pick up. She said there's a nationwide shortage on this drug so didn't know when it would be filled -/ it was all over the news. I asked her where it appeared since I do read. She said she didn't know she doesn't read and hung up on me? Normally this is a decent place, but this employee should not be interfacing with customers or be trained to handle customers in a more professional manner. read more

The layout of this store has been perfected to get in and out quickly. The lighting in the store and from the windows is cheery. I believe that this elevates the mood of the staff, so they are cheery too. They are always quick to help. The self-service kiosks can go. But I won't deduct for their soul-less-ness because I'm still cheery from the lighting and staff. They were not always this great: A few years ago I brought in pictures for development and they were lost without a trace. But I was doing that as a favor for someone so I don't really care. Ever hear of digital cameras? I guess it's nice to have hard copy. Another item from their past: They used to decorate for Halloween and since I can see that from my living room it would serve as a reminder to put up my own decorations. I love stores that get into the spirit because they transform buildings into members of the community. Points will not be deducted even though they stopped decorating. Recently, I came to the realization that CVS stores have the best customer service and best ....coupon deals! I know there are so many jokes about using coupons (or obnoxious length of said coupons) but you can save so much using them! Yesterday, I had an issue with applying my coupons at the self-checkout and very pleasant store worker helped my friend and I to get extra savings. I wish I had gotten his name - African American gentleman in a bright teal hoodie - very caring and ready to assist. read more

I love CVS! it certainly helps to have their extra care card! At first I wasn't sure if it did anything but I'm constantly getting great deals with their coupons! I ordered a prescription prior to expiration and because I didn't pick up that day my prescription expired before I could get to the store, they wouldn't give it to me. It's a CVS. Great. Well, this review is solely for the experience revolving around drinking in the Rush and Division area. If you need an ATM, go ahead and use the one in this CVS. Why? Because this place is never busy and is pretty clean. You're generally in and out without being hassled by the dregs of society. If you need a post-lube Powerade/Gatorade/whatever, then go to this CVS and lube up. Always drink a pint or two of something non-alcoholic post-lube to attempt to avoid the hangover. If you need drunken grub, then don't go to this CVS because the selection is paltry. You're better off going to the Walgreen's over on Dearborn. Regardless, do try to eat something after all the drinking you do on Division to help avoid the hangover. Feel free to print out this review and carry it with you as a cheat sheet should you go out drinking on Division. You're welcome. Three stars. read more

What happened to this store? I haven't been there in a few months. The shelves are nearly empty and in disarray. The store used to be immaculate; I was shocked to see how much the store has declined. The prices have increased too. I wanted to buy a bottle of Sally Hansen clear nail polish - it was $8.79!!! - no thank you. I'll be shopping at Walgreens and Target from now on. Sheesh! read more

The Pharmacy is very unorganized, they have difficulty communicating and unfortunately they are making silly mistakes. They are not concerned about their patients and do not take the time to make sure things are correct with the prescriptions. The Pharmacists there act like order takers, verses pharmacists, which is a very wrong behavior for a pharmacist to have. read more

Service had always been friendly but I sense it is picking up a notch. Not sure if it's part of a corporate campaign to coincide with their rebranding marketing campaign as CVS Health ,but...who cares! I feel whatever they are trying to achieve, for whatever reason. Allow at least 8 hours for a prescription. I got sick of being told that my prescription wasn't ready when I showed up on time to get it.Then I got into the habit of asking for them 4-6 hours before I expect to pick them up (in addition to the normal 2 hours). I had another late one today, after giving them 12 hours. (These are all straightforward refills, no need to check with doctors or anything like that.) read more

This a 24-hour CVS that is just two blocks away from another 24-hour CVS (the one at Clark and Division). A CVS is a CVS, right? Mostly, but the reason I like this one is the quality of the pharmacy staff. They are always incredibly helpful and friendly. The pharmacists are highly knowledgeable and happy to help, and they fill orders quickly, even when busy. Has a BofA ATM also. read more

Had a severe allergic reaction last night in the loop a little after 8PM. I went to the Immediate Care center, got my initial treatment and they sent my prescription to the wrong CVS pharmacy that closed after 6PM. I find this 24-Hour CVS and ask if there was anything that could be done. The pharmacist was so helpful and did everything he could to get me my prescription. I wish I could remember his name, he had blonde hair. He literally helped save my life, and he was willing to work with me when the pharmacy and the immediate care center closed. Had he not been willing to help, I don't know how this morning would've turned out. I definitely recommend this pharmacy to any of the other ones I've been to. The staff is so helpful and willing to work with you when you need help the most. Go here!!! They've found a customer for life. read more

I have had to change to CVS from Walgreen because of my insurance group. I love it. It's a little harder to get to, but the staff is friendly and helpful. I also like that they do not sell tobacco anymore. Good job CVS! read more

I love this CVS! I have been very ill over the last two years and I have to pick up medicine and other things to support the management of my illness (blood glucose meter, blood pressure cuff, etc.). They greet me by name and always fill my medicine in 10 minutes or less, no matter how busy they are. They always give me amazing advice if I have questions regarding medicine or what type of equipment or non-prescription items to buy. I always have such a pleasant experience when I go to this CVS because they always go out of their way to help me and give me a very personal experience during this very difficult time.
