So nice having it near by when we need something quick. This is a convince store and you will pay a premium for that convenience but it's worth it as the grocery store is much further away. I've bought chips, cheese, oat milk, limes, avocados, mixers, seasonings, ice cream and various other things. The deli in the back cranks out really amazing sandwiches too. I usually get turkey subs or breakfast sandwiches. You can get wine, alcohol and beer also. read more

What a great addition to the neighborhood! Open for just a couple of weeks at this writing, this little market has just what you are looking for, be it a breakfast or lunch sandwich from the deli/grill in the back, to a wide selection of beer and wine, to standard grocery staples, the West Loop Market has what you need. Located on the first floor of the Luxe apartment building, the market is clean, well organized and with plenty of inventory. I stopped in the other night as I had just arrived in town and was starving. While I thought I was going to have to settle for a pre packaged sandwich of some type, imagine my delight when I saw the deli in the back (they carry Boars Head products) complete with a grill. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with bacon and tomato and it came up hot and delicious, perfect for the blustery night. Grabbed some soup from the refrigerator case and headed home for a little bit of comfort food. This grill also serves up breakfast sandwiches (try the croissant with cheddar, egg and bacon about $5) as well as wraps and other types of portable eats. They also serve up fresh coffee so forego the line at Starbucks and stop in here and support a local business! They have a wide assortment of gourmet candies, cookies and chips, salad dressings and condiments, ice cream (including a Halo pint case in the back, yum! or Ben and Jerry's if that's your thing), salads, soups, cleaning supplies, frozen foods and prepared meals, etc. On one of the days I was there, they even had fresh baguettes in a basket in the back that would be perfect for a sandwich or sliced slathered in butter and garlic and served with some pasta dish. Oh yeah, they have the fresh pasta and sauce to do that too! The prices are competitive. I needed some sparkling wine for a party I was attending and the Veuve Clicquot that I bought was priced in line with what I would pay at a liquor store so I thought that was a win. The people who work there are friendly and helpful and the place is CLEAN which is always a plus and often times hard to find in the city. And if you go- say hi to Rick the owner. He can usually be found behind the counter helping shoppers find whatever they need. West Loop Market is a much welcomed oasis on this stretch of Madison. We have a party later and we don't have enough alcohol. So I came here by myself to buy beer and wine. It took a minute before I parked my car because I couldn't see any vacant seats. It's a good thing that one car left so I can park my car. After I park my car I go to the grocery store. There were a lot of customers and I went to the cart area to pick one. I went straight to the drinks area. They have a lot of different kinds of wine. All of it looks cool and I think it's fine. It's hard to choose so I just grab 5 pieces of it with different brands on it. After that I went to the beer area. I picked 10 boxes of canned beer. Since I only have one cart it does not fit in my cart so I asked some staff to help me put it in the counter and he helped me. I gave the staff a small tip for being a nice staff member. The store has a convenient location and a wonderful selection of liquor and deli. They have liquors that are hard to find and does that are not available in any grocery stores around. Their deli also got an amazing selection and the prices are way cheaper but still fair and reasonable. I highly recommend this store for their deli and liquor selection. The staff in here are also friendly and helpful and a bit knowledgeable on the products they have. PS. The store is small and not a good option for bigger grocery shopping. read more

The best neighborhood supermarket in West Loop/Fulton Market! They carry so many international goods that I sometimes can't get at Mariano's or Whole Foods. I've had a sandwich from their deli too, and it was pretty good. I would maybe ask for some oil and vinegar next time on top, but overall it was fresh and solid. I like international sweets since they tend to be better quality, and I find myself going back there for their selection. I'm really happy to have discovered them read more

This was a nice little find while I was taking my son to his hockey at Johnnys down the street. The Italian sandwich they made me at the counter was one of the best I've had in years. I'm a regular customer here. I love their products and the cheaper price of their products and goods. They have local and international products. They have every selection of products and goods where you can easily locate what you are looking for. The shelves were organized well. I'm here at the selection of dairy and chocolate. I'm choosing and thinking about what I would buy for my niece. I will visit them tomorrow. I decided to come here because their chocolates are cheaper compared to other stores. I bought 10 pieces of Dairy milk chocolate, 5 bags of Kisses, 10 pieces Hershey and 10 pieces Tobleron. I got a discount since Hershey has a discount. The staff at the counter greeted me.
