This has to be the worst pharmacy in all of Texas. Pharmacy techs lied about my prescription repeatedly!

Shashi Singh is far the worst pharmacist I have ever encountered before. She was incredibly impatient, began raising her voice when telling me for her to use the prescription coupon my doctor gave me she would have to cancel my already filled prescription and re-put everything in and I could come inside since it would take a minimum of 20 min, mind you I have flu B and I was not trying to get anyone else sick. I explained that to her, she continued to argue with me and became angrier with me and told me I could just pay full price if I had an issue with it. I was only trying to understand why they would have to take my prescription back if it was already filled ultimately, I had to end up paying full price instead of getting $35 off of a very expensive medication. I have never left a negative review before and I hate that this is what it has come to. A little kindness and patience goes a long way and hope no one else gets treated this way. Praying she turns a new leaf and is kinder to others than she was to me. read more

I have updated my review from one star to three stars. After speaking with a manager yesterday, she apologized for the terrible service I had the previous day, which was certainly not her fault. I believe the manager's name was Kassidy, and she also expedited my prescription. As others have mentioned, the pharmacy does seem to be understaffed which makes it even more important to have excellent employees. read more

Why all the low reviews? Why the awkward 3 stars? This pharmacy is SEVERELY understaffed. S E V E R E L Y. We've filled prescriptions 3 times here. Overall, the people are trying really hard. That second and third star are for the staff who are doing their best and are truly trying despite getting frustrated customers (like me) and yelling customers (I've seen) The first time, I thought it was a fluke. We waited 45 mins (started off at 4th in line). They had challenges finding our script because they were so many baskets for scripts backed up and not put away. The second time, I pulled in 30 mins before closing to the drive thru and I was in second place. And I waited for almost 20 minutes. And I ran inside. And I was 4th in line in there but thinking "hey, at least I'll get helped eventually." That was the night I discovered that their system auto logs them out shortly after closing. The pharmacist was having her first day and it was just her and a tech. And on my third visit, I arrived over an hour prior to closing. I started at the second in line in the drive thru. 25 mins later I pulled up and they said "there's no script for that name." Funny because I was there at 11am and they said it would be ready at 4pm--that pharmacist was working alone. In the end I was told that my insurance wouldn't pay until the next day. The guy I talked to told me it would work the next day and that he would be there. I waited for a total of 45 mins this visit. I arrived the next morning and he answered the drive thru window and had just filled the script (my husband texted as I pulled in to confirm it). He noted as he handed me the script that "it was the last of their supply" of a fairly common medication. The store manager(?) has been there on all FOUR of my visits. He's been stocking AND manning the cash register himself and not complaining about it, just racing around. I'm not sure if it's just general understaffing issues that so many are experiencing or what, but lack of staff is what is holding this place from being the gem the people would make it into. read more

this is my second review for cvs celina. they suck! its over an hour if they call back if tgey even call back. their voice mail says they will call you back in an hour. i didnt just say that. they are soooo slow at filling your meds. you may not even get them until the next day. they are always out of medicine. they are rude and that if you can understand them. im changing pharmacies. i changed to this pharmacy because walgreens was the same way. cvs was good for about 4months. but i believe they are worse than walgreens. theres so much more, but i have wasted enough time on them. dont use them! read more

This pharmacy deserves -10 stars. The hours of operation are ridiculous and every time I go to pick up my scripts I have a problem. I mean EVERY time. I have a surgery tomorrow and need prep medication that I cannot get. Run away from this place, it's a joke. read more

I have never had a problem with my prescriptions or experienced a rude employee at the Celina location. I receive text message with updates about my prescriptions and updates as to when they will be ready. The drive through is slow but never more than a 10 -15 minute wait. They close for lunch, however, this notice is posted on the drive thru window and inside the store. Hours for the pharmacy are also clearly posted. If closing time is 8PM, I don't expect a business to stay open until 8:10. I'm sure employees want to get home to their family. I do agree they are very understaffed as are all retail stores. Corporate personnel is keeping their pockets very profitable while their employees are struggling with inflation. read more

CVS stands for Consumer Value Store and CVS does the exact opposite. The pricing is atrocious. I have no issues with store ambiance or customer service but the prices are exorbitant which piss off lot of customers. Most go just when there is no alternative. CVS need to review its pricing model or else day is not far away when they too shall be filing for bankruptcy. read more

This place is extremely slow, the drive through for prescriptions takes for ever as well as inside. Tried calling to check the status of my prescription and was on hold for 25 mins before I just hung up. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Went to pick my daughters asthma medication up and waited in the drive through line behind a lady asking a ton of questions till 8:03. I pulled up and the young lady pulled the curt down and ignored me. I pulled around and went and and she wouldn't look at me. Her name is Crystal. I said I was in line and you closed the window. She mouthed something to the actual pharmacist and another lady was closing registers. I said can one of you please get my daughters medicine she mouthed no. I said I can read lips. That's fine if you don't want to but I would appreciate you handing me her medicine and I'll take it up front. The other pharmacist got it and checked me out. I thanked her and told Crystal I pray she never has to deal with a hateful person trying to keep your child from feeling better. You are much better off at a small local pharmacy or even Walmart. You will wait minimum 45mins in the drivethru, calling? Yeah don't even try they won't answer. I tried that too. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Twice now, my husband has been denied his prescriptions, due to whatever the current pharmacy manager was "feeling" at the time. First, it was because she'd "read that this medication is often abused, so [she] didn't feel comfortable filling it". Never bothered to check that my husband has had the same prescription for 5+ years, and filled there since that location opened, almost 3 years ago. I asked her for the store manager's information, which she refused to give, stating "I would just call and harass him". Filed a complaint with the board on that one. Fast forward a few months, (and several of these scripts had been filled there, mind you) and a new pharmacy manager, who is now refusing to fill the same medication, telling him "if you have a heart attack, you'll blame us". Seriously?! None of these people are physicians, but they're quick to tell you what medications you should or shouldn't be taking, without even bothering to learn your medical history. They're disrespectful, discriminatory and power-trip-happy. Take your health and money elsewhere. read more

Sometimes there seems to be MAJOR confusion when filling my prescriptions. And one time this "friend" of mine went in to get that Plan B pill, and the lady at the counter literally yelled out "Hey - where do we keep the Morning After Pills??" Which prompted every shopper in the store to turn and glare all disgusted-like at said "friend" and shake their heads in disapproval. {AWKWARD!} For the most part, they get my prescriptions right, and in a timely fashion. Sometimes I think I'm over or undercharged, but I figure it will work itself out. read more

The customer service in this CVS is the worst I have experienced ever. It seems busy all the time and it is The only store for miles, but the reality is there are long lines in the front and pharmacy. The tech said you can wait in the store for 30 min or if I leave it will be almost 3 hours to get my 30 pills put in a bottle. I really hope the RVP or district manager reads these posts. People - we have lived in Prosper for 22 years. Go to Celina's Brookshire's Pharmacy!! Great service & only once in all this time have we had to have the meds ordered (cancer drug) & it was in the next day. Not a 24/hr pharmacy, but you won't have these problems I've read about. This Brookshire'sharmacy originally in Frisco, so when It moved to Celina, we definitely went with it. No hassles & traffic like Wal-Mart. read more

I would strongly encourage taking your prescriptions elsewhere. We have had two incidents this week wherein they have inappropriately filled prescriptions - an error which we are reporting to the state. We have lived in Prosper for 3 1/2 years and we thought the service at this store was bad when we moved here. Well guess what, it's done nothing but get worse. An employee told me that even as Prosper grows and so does their clientele, the CVS district manager recently cut the pharmacy staff and also the hours of the remaining employees. My recommendation is as soon as another pharmacy opens in Prosper to be one of their first customers. I will be! read more

Horrible customer service. Different regulations depending on who's working. Told me I couldnt refill a prescription till a certain day due to state regulations, which Is fine but when I came to pick it up on that day they said they could fill it, come to find out they had given the last of their stock away when they "promised" they would have it before I went out of town. This is not the first time things like this have happened. It is damn near every time, there is always some problem. Have never had issues like this before with a pharmacy. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Extremely rude! My husband had surgery this afternoon. I dropped off his prescription and went back to pick it up about 8:45p. When I arrived, I was asked to show my driver's license, which I did. They told me that they would not release the medication to me since my license was expired (by a few months). I explained to them that I have 3 small children and a husband at home who is in a lot of pain and I did not think I could drive home to get my passport and drive all the way back before they close. A female technician seemed amused and snickered. I asked for her manager's info and her name so that I could call and make a complaint tomorrow. The manager then comes to the window and tells me that he lives in Prosper too, and he does not feel safe with me driving around with an expired driver's license. He even says he could call the police on me and report my expired license! I ended up having to drive all the way home, get my husband out of bed (in pain and dizzy and barely able to walk) and drive him up to CVS to show his driver's license. The manager continued preaching to me about how he could call the police on me for driving a car with an expired license. He was aggressive and rude and I will not spend money at this pharmacy ever again. read more

I think some of you may be confusing the Prosper CVS with the Celina CVS, both are on Preston road. The Prosper CVS is over busy, over crowed and understaffed. The CVS Pharmacy in Celina, is wonderful, I have never had a problem nor have I had to wait a long time for my prescription. The two main Pharmacist Isabelle and Matt are super nice and friendly. They know our names and are always very nice, respectful and helpful. We moved from Celina to Prosper and changed to the Prosper CVS, we quickly changed back to the Celina CVS because service was that much better. FYI: Prosper is building another CVS to take some of the pressure off the one on Preston red, just off 380. read more

Honestly, 1 star for the Prosper CVS is one star too many. I have a number of scripts on autofill but they never have the drugs in stock and as a result, the scripts are never ready on time. Also, on several occasions I've called in refills and have been told it would be ready within an hour only to get to the pharmacy and have someone else tell me that my refill isn't ready because they don't have the drug in stock. Although I live in Prosper and it would seem to be more convenient to use this pharmacy, I would rather drive to another pharmacy in another city. The bottom line is that Prosper CVS pharmacy is unreliable and their staff lacks the smallest shred of intelligence. I doubt that the staff member who last helped me could even read since he told me my husband's Rx was on back order only to find out from a different pharmacy that the drug had actually been filled and was waiting to be picked up. Incompetence at its finest. read more

If you need anything from a CVS avoid this store at all cost and either go to Brookshires or drive to Celina. I was trying to buy 12 bottles of wine and watch a 2 year old. After making the purchase the shift supervisor was very upset and claimed my 2 year old got slobber on a package of tic tacks... She was frightfully upset and demanded we pay an additional $1.02 for the tic tacks before allowing us to leave. I have never had such a miserable experience from a CVS employee. Unless you want your children to scream in fear stay away from this store until they release this employee! read more
