Not sure why all these bad reviews, most are years old! The staff is always pleasant when you walk in and usually available when i need to find things. The pharmacy has always been wonderful ! It does get extra crowded in the summer months. I've been coming here on and off because of different insurance company preferences for 10+ years, this is my preferred pharmacy! read more

Felt personally attacked and she actually followed me to a different part of the store to continue with her right tirade when all I needed was cold medicine. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Maybe -1 or -2 for the cumulation of bad experiences I have had with the pharmacy and the people that work there. Went to the CVS Minute Clinic and had a great experience, but that stopped when it came to the pharmacy. Unfortunately, the minute clinic sent my prescription immediately to the CVS pharmacy where I have had nothing but trouble, which is why, years ago, I switched to the Walgreens pharmacy on the island, instead!!! Well, CVS never disappoints me and after waiting almost an hour for my prescription (obviously after not feeling well from visiting the minute clinic) they never called my name. I saw on the app that my prescription was ready. The woman who was after me in the minute clinic had already picked up her prescription, which is what clued me in to checking the app to see if my prescriptions were ready. After waiting in line to pick up my prescriptions, the assistant manager was called in to help with the pharmacy and she got my prescriptions. I asked her if my insurance was on them and she said no. She took them back to the pharmacist who said it would be another 10 minutes or so to print up a new prescription. I moved aside so she could help the next person, but she never told me that it would be more time, so I asked. She was very short with me when replying, "well, you didn't have insurance on file so you'll have to wait." Seriously? I moved over so she could help the next person in line and I didn't think it was too much to ask how long it would be. When I have new insurance at Walgreens, it only takes the amount of time to print up the new prescription sheet for my bag...making someone wait who already waited is TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY. read more

Ok so I have two separate reviews. The pharmacists are 10/10 very kind helpful and on the ball. The minute clinic however... I would give 0 stars. I came in with an allergic reaction where my throat was closing and the "doctor" said "are you sure it's not just anxiety?".... She insinuated I was imagining my throat closing. I should've responded with "would you say that to a man?". Will be avoiding coming back to this minute clinic at ALL costs. The last thing I need is for a doctor to be arguing the validity of my symptoms with me. read more

Yelpers .. please imagine how hard it is to work in a tourist town CVS ... this location may not be perfect but our experience has always been consistently good. Prices are high and service is minimal due to CORP policy. When you need the items they have in stock they are close to CB and easy to find. I don't care if this place has less than 4 stars it's what I feel. I came in during a brief vacation and they had everything I needed and some things I didn't need. Maybe the pharmacy has problems I will have to read. But they had all the OTC things I needed albeit pricey. Hey what do want it's CVS! Want cheap go fight the crowd at Walmart and *not* find what you need: go for it. Didn't talk to a single staff and no one asked me: "finding everything you need?." Checked myself out. -10/10 experience at this minute clinic, also, my first bad experience i've had at one. I went in Sunday, April 28th worried I had a UTI and wanted to get checked for it. The lady I met with looked mid/early 30s, brunette, and looked like she had work done to her face, can't remember her name and don't feel like scrolling through emails to find it. To get straight to the point, the lady prescribed me antibiotics without knowing for sure if I even had the UTI... surely enough, I didn't have one. I didn't know that until yesterday morning, but anyway, the morning after my appointment when I woke up to start getting ready for work ( mind you I already took two pills at this point because she told me to take them immediately after my appointment) I start feeling very nauseous, at first I thought it was just a little stomach ache or something, I don't know, but later that night it got to the point where I was profusely vomiting. It had my bf so worried that he took me to the ER. I mean we had no clue what was going on, I couldn't keep any food down, I felt terrible to say the least. I missed three days straight of work that I REALLY couldn't afford to be missing because I was so sick. Fast forward to yesterday morning when I got a call back from the lady she tells me "You never had an infection it must've just been irritation or dehydration"...yeah you think? I tell her how sick i've been and OF COURSE she denies the antibiotics would make me feel that way LOL! When you type in the side effects of this specific antibiotic on google the first thing is, yup, you guessed it! NAUSEA AND VOMITING! So this lady prescribed me antibiotics I DID NOT NEED that caused me to be sick for almost a week straight... a week of work i had to call out of! Then had the nerve to tell me on the phone the antibiotics wouldn't do that SMH. Oh and let me not forget, she tried saying I "probably caught a virus" and that's why I was sick.... Bird brain:( wouldn't everyone else in my house have it? I love CVS but this is just too much... DO BETTER AT TRYING TO ACTUALLY HELP PEOPLE INSTEAD OF TRYING TO JUST MAKE A BUCK!!! read more

I wish I could give the absolutely terrible pharmacy customer service 0 stars they were so bad, and I'm normally very agreeable and understanding. I was appalled how they treated me over the phone let alone in person in what was an emergency situation. They need to learn compassion if they ever are going to succeed. I'm sure working in a beach town you HATE non-locals. At least that was extremely evident from the abrupt and quite rude service i received today from Leigha. She was very bubbly and friendly to the delivery men, older people who were clearly locals, and her co-workers. And then she was incredibly rude to me. I was very polite and smiled and asked her how she was doing and she rolled her eyes and said "just peachy." Just so you know, I am here in the same house several times a year, for many years now. I am not a tourist. If that's how you treat visitors who are helping ensure you have a place to work by shopping in your establishment, I will be sure to tell locals and non-locals alike not to shop at your establishment. read more

I have a place in CB so I come here often; the store is clean, and cashiers are friendly. My problem is with the Pharmacist; I believe her name is Natalie. Not sure, because my wife dragged me out of here before I chocked her. I will not go into details, but she is quite rude and either is in the wrong business or perhaps she needs to visit a charm school. read more

Disappointing Pharmacy - dropped of prescription & coupon from doctor's office. They would not honor coupon because they said insurance already applied a discount and they couldn't do both (making me pay 7x what the coupon & doctor said). They confirmed my phone number yet didn't call like they said they would. Also, went to pick up prescription on Saturday night around 7pm and it was closed. They close at 6pm on Saturday, that's too early! I'm done with CVS and will stick with Walgreens. read more

On New Year's Day my husband drove me to the MinuteClinic located at this CVS location. I was fortunate enough to see Megan in the MC pretty quick....I was diagnosed with the flu. She could not have been more attentive, compassionate, and caring.....the pharmacy staff were also very helpful and concerned.
