There were a number of cars parked outside but I saw someone bringing white bags to cars. So I went in and not knowing where to go and was greeted by a nice man It's a very simple menu in a very small location. I had to talk myself out of trying the chicken cheese steak since I hadn't tried the burger and that's why I went. I could have added a lot more toppings to it but decided to go basic with bacon cheeseburger with lettuce tomato onion ketchup mustard and mayo. I paid for it about 9 $10 and they told me to go back out to my car and they would bring it to me. It was not long after they brought it to me and I drove home and tried to make it last for two meals, but it was so good. I think the roll is kind of like a Hawaiian roll, but I can't swear to it There was something sweet about it and that's what I had to get. It was delish and I've had to talk myself out of driving back down there to get another one today. Well we were on the island for a day and decided to see if it was still there. We drove up and there was a window boarded up and it looked deserted. Upon a second look and one car in the parking lot we saw it was open and decided to hop in and give them some love. We were greeted warmly by a cashier donning a mask, which I was happy to see. We went up and down all the aisles of this old school grocery store. They have just about anything you'd need, including for the beach. We saw the cutest seashell nightlight with a seahorse etched on it and had to have it. Not a big purchase, but at least some support. When this crazy pandemic clears and we feel we can safely stay a few days this will be our go to for any needed groceries.
