CVS Minute Clinic has cut their 2 typical nurses down to 1 it seems. So, when you have an emergency on the weekend, you might have to drive 120 miles round trip to find a location like we did for our daughter. The nurse was great with her, but forwarded the prescription to Canton instead of Dacula where we live. The day was gone since we had to leave at 9:am from Dacula to make appt., and then by the time the prescription was called into the correct pharmacy it was 4:pm. Our whole day was gone. Waited 4 weeks for my blood pressure medicine to be available. Received notice it was finally filled, and due to my work schedule and the pharmacy schedule, getting a pick up is going to be challenging. Arrived prior to 8pm, waited about 10 minutes, at 8:02 was told pharmacy closed and I could not pick up. They were helping the guy in front of me before arrival and after departure. read more

This place is ok. I have not had any major issues with the pharmacy like several of the other reviews indicate. In fact they are usually friendly and helpful. They do however get backed up, which can make it feel like it is taking forever. The inside is hit or miss. I've had excellent customer service and at other times completely ignored. I guess it depends on the shift. Overall i will continue to come here because it is close to my house and it occasionally has some good deals. Extremely rude pharmacy reps. I paid $70 for my sick daughter to get Covid test. Arrived on time and was told to 'circle round ' so they could get other pharmacy customers. Came back around and waited for 15 min. Pharmacy rep said no phone so I had to give to her (required to get test scheduled). I was sent here to re-do my passport photo by some nice folks at the Cherokee County courthouse. Mind you this was my 3rd round at this... the first time I got them done at Wal-Mart and the second time at Rite-Aid. Both versions did not pass the mustard. But according to the Cherokee Court house people the staff here at CVS have been specially trained by them to do passport photos. I wish I had known this before I paid a total of $36 for 4 photos that are basically useless... So if you need passport photos done...don't do like me...just come here first. Absolutely worst customer service ever in the pharmacy! My son was seen at the urgent care and they called in an antibiotic for him by accident to this pharmacy and not the Walgreens. However, it was nearing 8pm and he just needed this medication so no worries, right? SO WRONG!! The associate saw me pull up to the window and he put up the we are closed cardboard! I went in and said to him that he saw me pull up and his response was, "There's nothing I can do." My son had to suffer through the night because of this uncaring associate when he could have given me the prescription. Walgreens would have put the customer first. I WILL NEVER BE BACK! I feel sorry for anyone who is obligated to use them through insurance, because to be in need and have to put up with people like this is just horrible! Absolutely the worst pharmacy ever! I give people the benefit of the doubt but these folks screw up my prescription refills every single time. My doctor has called in refills, faxed in refills etc..., but the staff say that they never get the refill order from my doctor. I have stood there while my doctor called them in and faxed them in and yet they never get refilled. Fed up! read more

This location is awful, at least regarding prescriptions. They can't tell you if a prescription is ready without coming in. Once you get there, it's quite likely not available. Think 8 hours after a prescription should be enough time? Guess again. Every interaction with them just makes me more angry. Unfortunately, I have no choice but to use them due to my insurance. The worst pharmacy we have ever used. Prescriptions were never ready when they are supposed to be, requiring long waits or numerous trips back and forth in effort to obtain medications. This was my husband's experience at the pharmacy: I have been a CVS customer for many years, I have used the Marietta Hwy in Canton, Ga. location, store #07273. Last Friday, March 16th, I went in to have a prescription filled. I dropped off the prescription as I have many times before. I was told I would have to come back to pick it up, they would text me when ready. I came back in about an hour and they were still working on the order. At this time I was called to the front counter by the register and was confronted by Greg Cranston, the younger Pharmacist, he told me that there was a problem with my prescription that I had submitted, he accused me of "shopping" Doctors for pain meds. He told me that I had too many doctors prescribing meds to me. He never asked me what my condition was that was causing me to visit his location in this first place. He told me that I needed to go to a pain management doctor to get my meds and stop using the other doctors. I had an ATV accident in August of 2017, I went to my general practitioner, Dr. Graham Matthews and he referred me to Dr Jaing in Woodstock. At this time I showed Dr. Matthews a small knot on my left shoulder, he then referred me to Dr Grant Wolfe. Dr. Jaing began treatment for the scaphoid fracture, Dr. Wolfe examined the knot on my shoulder and removed it. After the biopsy of the knot it was determined to be cancer-- Melanoma. I was then sent to Dr. Scott Davidson for cancerous tumor removal surgery and then to Dr. Patel at Northside Hospital in Canton, Georgia for radiation treatments. I am now seeing Dr. Ronald Steis for Immunotherapy for a year. I then explained to him in front of a room full of customers that I am seeing Dr. Jimmy Jaing for a broken scaphoid in my right wrist. While seeing Dr Wolfe he found that my gall bladder had a spot on it and needed to be removed along with repairing a slight hernia tear. Since December 19, 2017, I have had Cancer Surgery to have clean margins and 5 lymph nodes removed. I then had the screw inserted in my hand for my scaphoid injury and then the gall bladder and hernia surgery before I could start the Radiation and Immunotherapy. I started to explain to Mr. Cranston what was going on with me and he didn't want to hear it, I then told him I didn't appreciate him insinuating that I was "shopping for Doctors." All of this was conducted in front of other customers, at this time Sam Freeman the head Pharmacist, walked up and told the Mr. Greg Cranston to take a bathroom break and leave. Mr. Cranston did not ask me to move to the Consultation Area for the sake of my medical privacy to discuss the reason or reasons, he just smirked at me and told him he wasn't filling it. Sam apologized to me for the transaction that had just happened, I told him I was not happy with him insinuating that in front of other customers. All that needed to happen is to ask and discuss what was going on and not to accuse me or insinuate that I was a drug addict and shopping for different doctors to prescribe me medicines. I have since decided to no longer conduct business with any CVS locations. If this is the level of customer service I will receive from this location I will be moving my family's business elsewhere. Your employees lack empathy and compassion-- after going through a whirlwind of a year breaking my hand, discovering and treating cancer, and having my gall bladder removed, not to mention being off work for this amount of time and the impact this has had on my family, I would expect my local CVS Pharmacist to show a little more compassion to his loyal customers. This is a shame. I participate in a corporate sponsorship/rewards program and will be telling my coworkers and friends using the CVS rewards partnership of the blatant drug addiction discrimination I faced in my own neighborhood. read more

Drop off prescription on a Saturday in drive through . Asked if it could be ready by noon Sunday. Pharmacist said "yeah, we got you in the system". Came in on Sunday, girl who went to look for my scripts asked me if I had insurance... about 5 people were waiting in line. I explained I do. Have been filling prescriptions for 6-7 years. She tells me that my insurance denied my fill and CHANGED my script so it can be filled. (Instead of twice a day, changed it to once a day!) as I explained she needed to call Caremark, she said I needed to step to the side. The pharmacist came over and said it was my responsibility to remind them when I drop it off. He was extremely short. I said I would do my best to remind him next time. He proceeded to fill and take care of the entire line before calling Caremark. This has been the longest I've ever waited to be taken care of as well as the most rudest staff. Not sure who gave the girl at the register the authorization to be able to change my prescribed medication, but I am not happy at all! This seems like it would be a safety issue with customers Heath. You need to have the same staff so they can get used to the customers as well as have enough staff members to take care of customers. And have more knowledgeable staff. I could not not accurately rate this CVS branch since there are no less stars to pick. Not only is this the slowest pharmacy I've ever dealt with, they are rude, slow, and I get the feeling that they feel like customers are getting in the way of them having a good day. Also the pharmacist seems to make up his own rules around filling your scripts unlike other local pharmacies including other CVS pharmacies around the area. read more
