I do not know why it always happened when I go into cvs, it's always a long line in the pharmacy.They always have attitudes . And they are not professionally trained to be dealing with any customer on any level. If I had to grade them, I would give them a 0 because of the service and also living in this neighborhood. 3.1.22 Best neighborhood Drugstore...and as of today....the only big name drugstore since the Walgreens up.the block closed yesterday. I love the pharmacy and the staff are good people.. 5.3.22 The Pharmacy here is tops! The pharmacy manager assisted me thru a rather frustrating encounter with what used to be Affinity (good) who is now Molina (ugh). The ridiculous runaroud, dropped called and required 8 tries to get an OP that wouldn't just hang up...not to mention a procedure that is foreign to basic Pharmacy protocols...and this CVS Manager (name starts with an M) fought thru the bureaucracy in an attempt to get this kid her much needed meds. Another awful experience at CVS. T is 6:30 PM and there are at least 25 people in line to get their prescription Only one person is working and that person also handles the customers waiting on the side who over take anyone standing in line. The person who delivers the waiting scripts could easily take 2 minutes and call out that persons name and do the register transaction. Worse store in the whole chain. Avoid the pharmacy especially as they are understaffed. The store hours on the website is also wrong and if you call the store they hardly ever answer. No one cares as you would never know that the store has a manager or even a regional manager. Plus the shelves are pretty empty of needed products. I have never seen such a disorganized mess of a business in my entire life. Their service is "just do enough to get by and nothing more" motto. I had a prescription that was received by this pharmacy on November 8th. It turned out that the medicine (which was extremely important to me) was not covered by my insurance. There was no phone call, no text message about this situation and all that happened was that it sat for 3 additional days with no concern of customer follow-up. I should have had the option to buy it with or without insurance. But again the prescription just sat there, and they also had the product in stock! I have used this cvs since it first opened because it is in my neighborhood, but the quality has gone way down. There is not a lot of variety of products compared to other cvs I have been to. In this week along I had a schedule 2nd dose Covid test scheduled and when I arrive I am informed they don't have any left ?? What's the purpose of reserving an appointment in advance if you're not equipped to do it that day. Today I had another issue in the same week I had a script sent over around 2pm. I call around 5 pm and I'm told it will be ready in 1 hour. I arrive at 8:30pm and I am told they are still "Working " on it. After waiting I am then informed that the medication is not in stock !!?? This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. People are counting on getting their medications when promised. If you don't have it don't act like you do and waste people's lives. This cvs pharmacy does not care about people. I confirm through the automated system for my prescription and called two days ago to speak to a person so they can make sure my medication was refilled. I'm appalled n shocked on the disgusting behavior of the security guard ( he is pretty new) he follows everyone and everywhere! Stares at u down watches all your belongings, sees you're not stealing but still stares u down. When I realized I left it, I called immediately was greeted with a warm voice who confirmed I did leave my phone. I explained that I was not in the area and asked if I could pick it up tomorrow. I asked for a reason while getting my second shot and a staff at counter and pharmacist could not answer clearly. Come here often when I need some essentials. Very nice selection of items compared to the Rite Aid a few blocks down. Over the years, however, this place has become a lot more run down. The employees are NEVER there if you need help at the self-check out stations. There is only one person at the cash register, which makes a very long line. The way the store looks inside could use a bit work. There are empty crates or carts full of items in the isles, bringing the aesthetic appeal of the store down a notch. If the manager could hire more employees that are attentive to customers and maintain cleanliness, that would be fabulous... read more

This is the best pharmacy in the neighborhood. I live closer to a Walgreens, and I have to pass Rite Aid to get to this CVS, but that's what I do. It's clean. It's well stocked. The employees are knowledgeable about where to find things in the store, and they're out on the floor, ready to help you! The people behind the pharmacy counter are pleasant to deal with, too. I have lived in the neighborhood for over 25 years and shop at CVS store #2433 for that long. One day I wanted to use the restroom which I have used before I went over to the young lady by the name of Sabrina (glasses). I asked her if I may use the restroom and she was very dismissive and stated to me that they didn't have a restroom that was very upsetting to me that she would tell me a lie so I left. I was very troubled by that so I return to speak with the manager Gladys which was very professional. I asked her if I could use the restroom and she stated that they no longer allow the public to use the restroom that was what Sabrina should have said period. I think that Sabrina needs costumer service training if not she will be the cause of the customers not returning. read more

I've lived in the neighborhood a few months now but hadn't visited my local stores/ pharmacies yet. I'm actually closer to the Walgreens and only a small walk from the Rite Aid. But I was walking from the direction of Staples and thought to myself of easily grabbing some stuff here for the house. I'm 6mo's pregnant, bigger than 2 watermelons and a super slow walker. When I first walked into this CVS, I saw no security in sight. As I stood in the Snack isle adding mobile coupons to my ExtraCare rewards card, out of the side of my eye, at the end of the isle I see this guy just staring at me. In no way was he trying to make it seem like he was just glancing around, it was intentional. From looking at his gear, I now confirm to myself that he's the Security Guard. I dismissed him and continued to shop. Every time I moved to a different isle, he followed. I had so many things in my hand and needed to find a cart or basket, I'm checking and checking and don't see where there are placed. I then notice them by the exit/ entrance and walked my way over. That man damn near ran to the the exit to make sure I didn't run out with my items. Smh, really !?!? I grab a basket and made eye contact with him, he is still monitoring me like a hawk. I walk away to another isle and from the corner of my eye I can see he is poking his head up and out back and forth checking where I am. On purpose I walk to the last isle from the back and walk my way up to the front. He sees me walking past him/ exit/entrance again and the man is like preparing. He's preparing his body to make a move on me or run after me if I leave out the door with this full a** basket ! Wow, is this is really happening. This man is really doing this! I stood in the check out line and he still watched me. Really guy, what can I possibly do here !?!? Then an employee walks up and asks if anyone could use assistance in the Self Check-Out. She looks down at my belly, tells me she's more than happy to assist if I need it. I decide to use the self check out after-all and she begins packing my items for me. I appreciated her so much but this Security Guard already left me with the worst taste in my mouth and I was set to never return to this store. I have never stolen a thing in my life. The treatment is disgusting and uncalled for. So you follow me, a woman of your same color but not the Caucasian lady I seen nervously in the back of the makeup dept. Really nice guy, smh. i must say a big cvs and you can get lost in this giant store, but with that said, the store has a bunch of merchandise scattered around in the wrong place , courtesy of the lazy slob customers. the sales that always start on sunday(check the flyer for items , are the big reason to pick up an asdortment of personal and hygiene products, soda ,cereal, candy, snacks, gift cards, etc. i like the assorted as seen on tv gadgets and little handy products that we dont really need like mice repellant plug in, see at night sun glasses, and pasta maker in seconds, just some of the fun stuff they carry. i like the variety of gift cards, and prepaid debit cards etc. not to many cashiers so self service check out will be the only option most of the time. the folks who work here are ok, if you can find one if you need assistance, but friendly overall. the pharmacy is in the back and not to busy, . i like this location when i am in the area with its long hours, and the bountiful sales going on and full stocked shelves. read more

This review is for there pharmacy...lets start off by saying no one picks up the phone when you call the pharmacy...you will be on the line for more then 30 mins waiting for anyone....the line for either pick up or drop off is ridiculously long...pharmacist are too busy having personal conversations then actual work and productivity...smh...i had knee surgery and my friend went to pick up my meds....when she confronted the pharmacist they only gave her my anti inflammatory...but where were my pain meds...are they taking it home because its been a month and have never received it...no one reached out to say dog or cat your pain meds are ready...its disgusting...are they picking and choosing what pills to give people and selling my pain meds...i will file a complaint and take my business elsewhere. read more

I used to LOVE this store. Called it "my second home" at one time. But, over the past few years, the atmosphere has changed. Kind of grim. Like the workers are not happy there. And there is this suspicious undertone there that never used to be. Perhaps new management had something to do with that. I mean yeah, they greet you at the door with a "Welcome to CVS" which is nice but, it's because they are told to do so. Say "Hi" to them when they're out in the street and they turn the other way showing you their "friendliness" was just a part of their job. (Ouch. Happened to me a few times already.) The store can be better stocked. Empty space that can be better filled and important items like baby food (small jars of meat that they always used to carry) are no longer being stocked. Also, their weekly store circular shows items that are on sale and should be available that week that are not in the store. Basically, what CVS Stores have over RiteAid and Walgreens is Extra Care Bucks. And, with an email sign up, you can get % off coupons sent to you. Sometimes up to 30% off which is great. But remember, you are ringing up your own items in their "self serve" check out so, we SHOULD be compensated for that. read more

I don't live in the neighborhood, but I stopped in on 2 separate occasions when I was in the area. The last time I wanted to buy some Milani Cosmetics that was on sale. I was disappointed they didn't have much left. I've noticed that a lot of drugstores here in the Bronx never have the makeup that's on sale well stocked. I bet they'll have another sale on Milani before they stock up on more items. I betcha just watch! They also had Noxzema cream on sale. Of course I happen to grab 2 of the 3 that were left. The place was neat and clean. Some items I was looking for were still in boxes on the floor and not on the shelves, these were sale items too. Well, it was just dishwashing detergent, but it should be on the shelves. I had to open the boxes myself. after the cashier told me that they had the detergent. She told me where it was,but it was in a box on the floor. They need to get the products on the shelves faster, customers shouldn't have to search through boxes. read more
