This CVS store opened in late 2014/early 2015. It's always very clean and organized. The staff is friendly. There is a drive-thru window for the Pharmacy, although I've never used it. I docked a star bc of the lack of inventory of common prescription pain medications they have onhand. This is my primary pharmacy is go to. I needed to fill two prescriptions I received a week apart from each other and was forced to go elsewhere. Disappointing, but hopefully they get more customers to validated keeping more drugs onhand soon. read more

Ordered migraine medication on Dec 25th. CVS requested a 90-day prescription from my doctor, which was provided on Dec 29th. Received confirmation for pickup on Dec 31st. Then the order mysteriously reverted to "prescriber review"--requesting the same prescription again. After calling the store, my order completely disappeared from the app. This is medication I depend on. Having to repeatedly follow up and re-explain the situation while worrying about access to my medication is unacceptable. read more

Yup. Still hate this pharmacy. Registered this week for the updated COVID vaccine and flu shot and they are telling me I never did. I literally have the text and email confirmation. They make you shout all your personal information rather than taking two steps from their desk to get your ID and insurance. BLATANT HIPAA violation. It's been years since my last review and the rewards machine still doesn't work, merchandise is overpriced as ever. Such bad attitudes from the retail and pharmacy staff. They took four walk ins ahead of me and I had an appointment, including someone they were checking out at the pharmacy counter and told her she "should get a flu shot," meanwhile I'm still sitting here. Unbelievable! This place is hopeless. My insurance is calling them to certify coverage on prescription and they do not pickup then lie in your face that they did not get a call from anyone. No issues with any other CVS in a 5 mile radius. Shame on me for trusting they do their jobs. Oh and forget about getting your prescriptions delivered as they will not ship them out. read more

The worst Pharmacy customer service ever!!! Takes minimum of 20 minutes pick up the call to be told each time "I don't understand you and hang up " I do speak clear English. Arprita the Pharmacist is so totally rude I thought had to be a joke. i specifically asked have Childs meds flavored as doctor suggested as tastes awful. she said she would. Having such hard time getting child take this awful gritty thick fluid. I call back 3 days later waited my 20 minutes only to get Arprita again pretending she cannot understand me, to have her say they have no flavoring you have to go somewhere else. Day 1 customer here- used to love this pharmacy- always friendly and it felt like a neighborhood pharmacy as the staff and pharmacist would remember me by name. Sadly, the quality of service has greatly diminished over the past few years, and today's events drew the line. Yesterday at 4pm, my 1 year old was diagnosed with an ear infection and an Rx for antibiotics was called in by the doctor. The Rx was not filled by the time they closed at 7pm (which is absurdly early, especially since every other CVS closes at 8 or later). I went the next day as early as I can, and unfortunately had just missed closing time by a few minutes. I decided to track down the store manager, which was a chore in itself, and see if there is anything they could do - including transferring the Rx to a different CVS so I can pick it up. I was met with the very rude pharmacist who confirmed, the Rx had not been filled (30 hours later), and there was nothing she could do for me because the computer was already shut down. Her only explanation was "you should have come earlier" and that "every cvs closes at 7." I informed her that she was very misinformed or a liar and proved her wrong with a simple google search. At this point I am not mad that they are closed and I got there late-my fault, not theirs, but the fact that the Rx literally had not yet been filled is just ludicrous and instead of apologizing that this wasn't filled yesterday, or even today so I could have had a friend pick it up for me, she makes it seem like I am problem for wanting my son to get his antibiotics. After I explained to her that I couldn't come earlier because I have a job and a sick child and then proceeded to made a total ass of myself yelling at this woman (not one to complain but you mess with my kids, you get a whole new side of me), ensuring she knew just how displeased and unacceptable this was. I then called another area CVS who kindly explained they can not transfer an Rx without this CVS' approval. So, I decided to call my doctor, who graciously recalled in the Rx to the Somerset CVS. When I arrived there, the pharmacist said they could not fill it because the Union Ave CVS had already filled it. Thats right- after I left, the pharmacist who said there was nothing she could do for me, filled my son's Rx but, because they were closed, I couldn't pick it up and it couldn't be transferred and the new Rx couldn't be filled because the insurance wouldn't cover it because one was already filled. I told the pharmacist that I would just pay out of pocket and worry about the insurance later. He then asked me to wait 5 minutes, and before I knew it he kindly filled it and charged me my copay. I can not imagine this situation had the Rx been for a nebulizer or inhaler or something even mote tome sensitive. This whole situation just proves that the staff does not care about the patients who utilize their facility and quite frankly, to defer filling a child's medication for 30+ hours is just unacceptable and negligent. They lost another customer. read more

Worst pharmacy! They refused to help me because they thought I had Covid, since I had a mask on and I heard the staff talking about me behind my back. Maybe they should learn to be more subtle when gossiping about a patron. The pharmacy staff there is Extremely unprofessional and they profiled me. So unethical! I Will DEFINITELY REPORT THIS TONIGHT. Absolutely ridiculous!!! My lawyer is already looking into this incident. You all mistreated the wrong person today. read more

I had the worst experience at your CVS in bridgewater NJ. Your pharmacist Arpita provided me with the worst customer service ever. She refused to call other stores to see if they have medication. Store manager Kevin provided with poor customer service. Never I have received such poor service. She needs to be fired. I was there today at 2:10. Arpita Patel is a horrible pharmacist and needs to loose her job. She is lazy. She would even call another pharmacy to check if the had my medication. She also didn't check if she had it in stock. Pharmacy techs are very rude. After showing up for my appointment for a flu shot, I was told that they don't have any. When asked why they allow you to book an appointment online if there isn't any available, the tech did not apologize and simply said: " what do you want me to do?" The trip to the store was a complete waste of my time and the store did not care or think it's unacceptable. And it's apostles all over the store. read more

Although I'm not very big on Pharmacies because of the super over priced items which sometimes it highway robbery with some of the prices they charge for stuff. I get it that its about the convenience and sometimes if you are in the middle of no where and need something quick but come on really !! Also you can never find anyone on the floor to help you at this location. The pharmacist always seems to crazy busy because of lack of help. CVS never fails to disappoint yet again. The "new" large & modern CVS in Bridgewater, despite its good looks, leaves a lot to be desired. Poor customer service, way over-priced, low or no inventory. . . maybe this should be one of the CVS' targeted for closure. Went in on a Sunday afternoon just looking to purchase some plain old liquid hand soap. Went down the "hand soap" aisle at least 4 times, surrounding aisles as well. . . . absolutely no sign of any hand soap! Only 2 employees in store, both at the registers busy with customers. Never heard of a pharmacy turning down a new customer just because they don't want to order a prescription for a customer. Really surprised! I just moved from Michigan and was going to fill a prescription here and be a continuing customer, but being told to go to Walgreens to fill my prescription doesn't sound like a stellar business plan CVS. Because now I probably won't come back. Other than that the store looks clean and nice. Note: my best friend is a pharmacist, so I know the proper etiquette of service. The proper way to handle this situation would have been for the tech (assuming she's a tech due to her behavior) to call Walgreens before sending me over there to make sure Walgreens had the brand. If Walgreens didn't have the brand CVS should order the brand for the customer, and they wouldn't lose a lifetime consumer. read more

I haven't been in a CVS in awhile, since I must have converted some time back to Walgreens, but there will always be a special place in my heart for CVS. This location is nice, clean, and it's still pretty new. Everything is so easy to find. You don't always have the energy to go into a huge grocery store or mall when you only need a few things. That's when CVS comes to the rescue. read more

I find this new CVS on Union Ave in Bridgewater to be very clean, and the employees are nice. I particularly want to praise Jinay, a true gentleman, very polite. He is one of the rare people out there who will go above and beyond to help you, and he has very good manners. read more
