Rude as hell pharmacy employees. I always brushed off their disorganization and bad attitudes but it's honestly cringey they way they treat each other and their customers.
So I switched to CVS from a private pharmacy because it was closer to work, saved a little money, and I could pick up other general stuff I needed for the house while there. I thought it would be convenient. I also like their app where you can refill prescriptions right from your phone. HOWEVER- SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE.
Few examples- I was in a few weeks ago to get the flu shot and one employee was just not doing anything while it was rush hour. So another employee starts instructing her to come to the cash register to help or find this paper, etc. normal things to help during the rush hour. And this bad attitude employee snaps at the other one actually doing work about "I ALREADY DID THAT." "I ALREADY ASKED WHO NEEDED THIS AND THEY ARE ALL WAITING!". Then she stands in the back and scowls, rolls her eyes, and does nothing while everyone else is buzzing around her. It was super awkward for the 20 of us waiting around for the flu shot while a fight was about to break out. I seriously wanted to tell her to be quiet with all the shade and sass she was throwing at everyone. A bad employee makes a bad environment.
Then it comes to today. I went to the doctor a week ago (Friday) and was prescribed a medicine that I needed right away. Cvs was able to fill all but one of them, which was fine but the one they couldn't fill was the most important one. No worries they said they ordered it and it would be here Tuesday! Tuesday rolls around and I don't hear anything. I keep getting the texts from them saying we ordered [medication] and we will text when it's here. Well now it's Friday so I called just to see what's up. I didn't call mad, I was understanding until I get rude as hell employee on the phone. (I believe her name was Ashley the pharmacy technician) and the conversation goes like this -
Me: "hey Ashley I just want to see if my medication was in"
she asks for my information and pulls up which one I am looking for.
Ashley: "well maybe at the end of the day Monday."
Me: "ok I was just wondering because the doctor sent it to you last Friday."
Ashley: "WELL it's not our fault we ordered it!"
Me: "ok I was just told Tuesday and -"
(she didn't let me finish any sentence from here on)
Ashley: "well that's just a guess! We ordered it! We can't help it."
.......me : "ok I -"
Ashley: "i don't know what you want us to do?! We have to order it and if they don't send it to us then we can't give it to you!!"
Me: "um... I was wondering wha-"
Ashley: "so YOU can call around OTHER PLACES and see if THEY have it. Which they probably won't, but if they DO then have them CALL US and we will TRANSFER it to them. Got it?"
Me: "...... yeah.... got it."
Ashley: " FINE have a good day."
Me: *click
