They never listen to my request to fill my prescriptions for 90 days, and they never listen to my request to have them ready on the same day. I live 50 miles away and I can't run there every other day for 2 week to pick up my prescriptions, it's time consuming and expensive to do that. I'm not blaming the staff at this location, it's the cvs chain itself, you can't talk to a person when you call the pharmacy, you just get a menu that dosent cover my issue, then they called me a at least 3 times to try to set it up for me and then never followed through, I finally went to Costco, and they got it rite the first time, after several years of being ignored at cvs I'm done. read more

Perfectly adequate CVS here in Bismarck. Once you enter and turn your back on the doors, if could be Boise or Boston. It's a very standard and more modern CVS with all the over-the-counter and personal care items you need. Some light dry groceries, snacks and candies, coolers with drinks. The personnel at this store ( not the pharmacy ) have no customer service skills. They are not pleasant or desiring to be helpful. Don't spend your money there..go somewhere else where you can be treated with some level of courtesy or respect. It's not there!! read more

I always get great service, in the drive thru pharmacy. I like the pharmacist that I speak to , they always help with any questions I have.

Very nice place. I'll write more later. It's just, talented staff, wide variety of other foods and services....sure there are other pharmacies in town. It's nice having the big dogs, also. I have had multiple, terrible experiences here. I try to give more than a few days notice when refilling, if possible. I recognize that the location is understaffed but at a certain point, good gosh! My prescriptions were consistently not prepared after over a week's notice. The last prescription I called to refill, was out, but no one notified me. I asked on the phone if they typically would call to save the customer a trip. I was met with a rude attitude and questioned why I didn't get text updates. Uh, because I didn't want to be texted as often as they called. I gave two stars because I acknowledge that all of the employees aren't rude and accusatory. General store? no concerns. Pharmacy? Save your time and find a new one. read more

Awful! I opted to go through the drive-thru, knowing from my past experiences at Walgreens pharmacy, drive thru was just as efficient. I was the second car in line, car in front took no longer than 3-4 minutes. I put my ID, prescription card, prescription from doctor and coupon from doctor on the slot and pressed Send. The pharmacist tech asked "filling today?" I said yes. I asked how much the cost was, and was told "let me put it in and check" a minute later was told they weren't sure if they had it in stock and hold on a minute. They came back and said they were still checking and to hold on. Again, they came back and said they didn't know if they would have enough in their pharmacy to fill my prescription and said there was a huge line in the drive thru and they asked me to come inside. BIG MISTAKE!!! I was now THIRD in line inside, second behind a woman who took 15 minutes to DROP OFF her prescriptions. She over, and over, and over, and over kept asking "how many a day? What time each day?" As if this was her giving freakin' brain surgery.... the woman needed to be told to wait for her name to be called and talk to a Pharmacist. There was one girl working drop off, two on drive thru and one at pick up. It was 5pm on Wednesday. I overheard the same girl who asked me to come inside tell a person on the phone that they were really backed up and super busy and she would "try to contact their doctor before pm". When I finally got my turn (after 8ish minutes outside and over 15 inside), the drop off girl was royally confused. I told her I was told to come inside for my drop off. SHe said I must be mistaken and that the girl asked me to wait inside for my name to be called. I reiterated "No, I was dropping off and was asked to come inside because the line outside was very long and she didn't know if you had my prescription on stock". Girl again told me it was weird and I must be confused. After a few minutes, all my items (ID, prescription and card and coupon) were by here left arm. She turned around and low and behold, there was plenty of my prescription on stock, on the shelf behind. Could I simply be able to take and pay for it now and leave??? NO. You must wait for it to be filled and we will call your name. I go to dinner now and have a dang drink!!! This place is understaffed, completely disorganized and NOT customer friendly. Over 25 minutes for my prescription TO BE DROPPED OFF is unacceptable. I will not return to refill anything here nor purchase anything from CVS in the future. What a disappointment this place is. read more

Terrible customer service! Rude, rude, rude pharmacist at both north and south CVS. Today was the last straw. Going back to Dakota Pharmacy.

Unfriendly, slow staff.....I hate going there to pick up prescriptions and will be transferring mine to a different pharmacy.

This place is a joke! Started the fiasco at 515 after dropping my SO at a hotel because there was no way he was going to make a car trip home (3+hr drive) as anesthesia didn't agree with him. Told them he needed the meds by 8 per drs orders. One of the Pharmacists processing meds came over and PROMISED it would be done in an hour, then I was told by another person 9 pm. I again explained the issue and that if it wasn't possible I would take it to another pharmacy, she went and checked with original pharmacist and I was again told one hour. 1.5 hours later it was not ready, it is now 730 and I still do not have the prescription. My SO is at the hotel by himself, not doing well and I can't help him because of these incompetent idiots. They blame it on being short staffed, which is ridiculous as we live in the oil patch (EXTREMELY short staffed there and scripts still only take 15 mins). I have never had a good experience at ANY cvs, this one simply clinches that this company is completely oblivious and uncaring about their customers, they are all about the bottom dollar and honestly, they are the reason small pharmacies do better in our state. PS they only get 1 star cuz it wouldn't let me leave zero! read more

The only thing this CVS Pharmacy has is location and a drive-up. Each time we've drop off a prescription, even though we've answered all the questions and yes, we've had things filled there before, something is messed up. First of all, it can took them an hour to fill a pretty common antibiotic for our child. Then the insurance doesn't work. The people at the drive up window are anything but friendly. If there is a probelm don't expect any employee to even act half way like they even give a crap. They don't. Oh, and don't forget to sign the card if you decline further couseling on the medication. This card has the peoples signatures who have had prescriptions filled there (how's that for privacy?). Everytime we go there, I leave rolling my eyes and laughing at what a big joke it is. I swear we won't go back, but location has gotten us each time. I still can't understand why it can take so long to fill or place a label on the medication. A week later, another family member had the same antibiotic filled at the clinic pharmacy and the pharmacist was done in under 10 mintues. Avoid this CVS, as they don't have an efficient system for filling medications, and are slow....unbelievably slow . If there isn't a problem with your insurance this visit, there will be the next visit. And no, it's not our insurance as it's one of the largest carriers in the state, very common. read more
