this store was honestly good. the CVS had what I needed and the people that worked there helped me when i was buying my things

Beware that this is perhaps the worst CVS I've ever experienced. They've misdosed medication for my children on multiple occasions, hung up on providers calling in scripts, and today was the last straw where I felt humiliated and the tech nearly violated HIPAA as she proved a point re: their voicemail system. My dad was a pharmacist and I appreciate it's a grueling environment. The complete disregard for customers/patients at this CVS is appalling. The only thing they have going for them is their drive-thru. Otherwise, you'd be better off elsewhere. read more

Slow as can be I spent more time at the counter waiting for them process the transaction then the drive to doctor the doctor appointment itself and the drive home. After everything it was still given to me incorrectly blaming the way the doctor wrote it . read more

When prompted by the recording to "press 2 if you'd like to speak with a pharmacist", what % of calls are ignored? I've been using this pharmacy for a little over one year, and not once has a pharmacist or tech picked up the phone when I need a question answered (usually after I call and they are "still processing a rx request." ) So you wait thirty minutes until you get tired of hearing the same info (obviously if the question CAN be answered by the app, I wouldn't be calling to speak with someone...), drive up to the CVS only to find out the there is an issue with your rx. If you would like for someone to ruin your day, than go to this cvs pharmacy. There are a select few woman who are just plain rude not once, but multiple times that I have gone in there. I definitely will be changing my pharmacy. read more

Went here today to get a cov 19 booster and was told that they were saving them for their better customers.

There is always a line for pick up and the staff is aggravated when you have a question. It appears the pharmacy is unable to keep up with the new customers following the closure of Katonah location. read more

The Rx transfer from one CVS to another CVS location ("3 simple steps") DOES NOT work. Only took 2 MAX presciption #s provided on the bottles & upon clicking Continue-button, it doesn't go any further. After 3-4 attempts, proofreading w/ fine toothed comb, no results. read more

On Sunday I went to this cvs to get a thermometer and covid tests. I asked the manager where the tests I could get for free were and he told me they didn't give tests for free. I went to the pharmacy and asked if I could get eight covid tests for my husband and myself for free and was told that had to be approved by my insurance company and of course it was. I went back to the manager and told him I got the tests I wanted for free. He said it wasn't free, my insurance company would have to pay for it. Anyone, with a modicum of intelligence or concern for their customers should have told me to go to the pharmacy, and if my insurance carrier approved the transaction, there would be no cost to me. He was completely uninterested in being helpful. He was arrogant, useless and has no business dealing with the public. The only reason I gave two stars was because the pharmacy staff was very helpful. If I were the store manager's boss, I would fire him in a heartbeat. If this guy treated me like that, I'm sure he is equally useless to other customers. read more

Not sure what happened. I called the pharmacy morning of 11/09 at 10:37 AM. The woman was incredibly rude and cut me off when I was trying to provide information for her. Further- she told me nothing was available for me at this location or any other one regardless of the fact I've been receiving voicemails and texts regarding my CVS prescription. No help was offered whatsoever. This used to be a great location. read more

This CVS is above and beyond the best in the area. Yes its your run of the mill CVS but the employees are fantastic they remember your name and are courteous and kind. Prices are par with other pharmacies but its a bit pricier! read more

This is one of the most horrific CVS pharmacy. The customer service is unprofessional, and the service is terrible. They always have one employee behind the counter while 15 people are waiting to check out what they have purchased. Sadly, most of these people waiting for 15 to 20 minutes to check out are senior citizens. They have no empathy or compassion for these people. Cashiers behind the counter have a negative attitude and forget we are the customer. Very poorly managed . CVS - Whoever is the manager of your store should be fired. I ordered my photos on-line and was emailed to pick them up. When I arrived they photos were not ready. I had to wait 30 minutes for my photos. There was one cashier behind the counter. I stepped aside to allow another customer to check out. An employee (I had a sense he was a part of management) passed by this customer and the customer asked politely, "Can you check me out please?" The response from this employee was, "Give me a minute" in a very sarcastic and condescending tone. The employee walked behind the counter and then left the counter. Never to see him again. My advice to all of you is go to the CVS in Katonah, NY. read more

This applies to CVS' pharmacy policies, though not the pharmacists, who can lose their jobs for not following policy. My elderly father's physician switched his heart medicine--effective immediately and called in an updated prescription in the late afternoon. My dad is unable to drive to pickup the new medicine. I'm unable to get up to Mt. Kisco (from Manhattan) before the store closes. None of the local CVS pharmacies deliver. My sister and I scramble to find someone, anyone, who can help. The husband of a home-health aid that's been caring for my dad offers to pickup the prescription however we can't pay for the prescription over the phone because its against CVS policy. No one can explain why the policy is as such, but everyone (pharmacist, store manager, CVS customer support) states that the pharmacist can lose her/their job if they take a credit card over the phone. Great customer support CVS! (Suggesting that we subscribe to the CVS mail order program is not an effective solution). Thanks for ignoring a population of those in need. read more

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. We had a really bad experience at this pharmacy more than once; to begin with, they´re painstakingly slow and disorganized. The straw that broke the camel´s back, however, was our recent experience there: 20 capsules of antibiotics cost $23 the first time we bought them, a mere ten days later, 42 capsules set us back $124! 500% price increase in 10 days. Wow. After cross checking our records at home, we returned to express our profound displeasure and to ask how such an increase was possible. We were told that the prices had probably gone up. Finished. AMore than frustrated we decided to look into this a bit more and checked at the Target Pharmacy what the medicatin would cost. Guess what? 42 capsules cost $26, since it was a generic antibiotic that seems to be rather inexpensive. Upon returning the medication at CVS and asking for our money back, one of the pharmacists became nasty and told us that we "should never act like this in their store again. After all, they were doing us a favor..." Well, we have NO intention of ever setting foot in this pharmacy again! Disorganized, ourageously expensive and rude. NO THANK YOU! read more
