I've also been picking up the same authorized medications at this pharmacy for 2.5 years with no issues. This is notoriously the WORST pharmacy in azle. I don't use them anymore but my grandma has to for this and that reason. Point being they send her these texts saying "your prescription is ready for pick up" but then when we get here they tell us it will be a 30 minute wait, why are they telling customers their meds are ready if THEY ARE NOT READY. The store part has improved a lot. The pharmacy is awful. My doctor called in my prescription almost 3 weeks ago, but CVS said they never received it. My doctor resubmitted it. Went to pick it up and was told to come back in 30min to pick it up. Came back and was told they had to order it and it'll be at least a week. Came back when they said it was ready to pick up and was told my order was on hold. Went in the other line to get it fixed. Was told to come back in 15min. Came back and was told it's still on hold. After searching again, I was told the prescription was never ordered and they would have to order it again. I've used this pharmacy most of life but not anymore. I'll take my business elsewhere. Waiting 4+ weeks for a prescription is insane! Much more so because of negligence. read more

Standing in line for over 25 minutes, sent to go to another register. Only to be sent back to the original register. Then they went on to people ahead of us. Happens every time we're at the CVS. This pharmacy is horrible. The prescriptions aren't filled timely and I don't know who decides on their actions. I just had a total knee replacement. The non opioid pain reliever was not in stock so they put it on hold instead of calling another CVS to fill the prescription. I think this store should be closed. Their service is terrible. Went to this CVS today to pick up a prescription. Waited 40 minutes for something that should have taken 10-15 minutes. The lack of the ability of the staff both in the drive thru and walk of pharmacy . This pharmacy needs to create a more cohesive system to create better service. The Pharmacy has POOR service. Long waits and prescriptions are not ready even after giving them 24 hours to prepare. When they don't have the prescription after 24 hours or have stock, you can wait for DAYS! It is also sad that customer service skills are not taught to some of these pharmacy employees. This is the worst pharmacy in Azle. Maybe in North Texas. Slow, always busy (at least the staff look that way) could be avoiding customers. Their text and notification services rarely work right. I've given them two chances. Won't do it again, they are awful. The Brookshires and Albertsons are better choices. Worst pharmacy ever! I was going to have my testosterone filled here like I usually do but todays pharmacist rejects my prescription in the form I'm requesting it in. Long story short it's only to benefit the pharmacy and save on product and charge me more. At the end of the day my doctor has asked me to request it in that form. You're only the pharmacist you don't see my blood work. I'm taking what my doctor deems appropriate. If I'm paying for the product what does it matter in what form or size I get my prescription in?! I wanted to like this store. I had great hopes that they'd be better than the CVS in Weatherford. I gave them an honest chance. I received text messages that my 'scripts were ready and tried for days, up to 2 weeks only for them to say that they didn't have it. Today, I got a message saying antibiotics were ready for pickup, 2.5 hours later, they still aren't ready. CVS in general sucks! read more

I come to a CVS or Walgreens knowing I will be paying more for the ability of being in and out of the store quickly. If i was leaving a review on just the store itself, id probably give them a solid 5-6 stars. But the actual pharmacy i give 0 stars. I have used other CVS locations for many years and never had problems like i have with the Azle location. There was a time i was left completely ignored in the drive through. They helped about 6 other cars in the 2nd line and took 20 minutes to even acknowledge me. When i submit refills i give them 1 to 2 days before i need it, and nothing is EVER ready until i call and ask if theres a problem. Then i get attitude and, "you can pick it up in an hour". Another big issue i have is renewing rxs, they fax my doctor and somehow never receive the return faxes so every month i have to fight between them and my doctors office who actually did their job. This last time a young man said he would actually call my doctor to verify it over the phone to expedite this since i was now completely out of medicine. Guess what? He never did. This last incident is where i drew the line. I went in one day to pick up, at like 10am on a Tuesday. Not a single customer in the pharmacy nor drive through. I stood at the counter for 10 minutes waiting. The fully staffed pharmacy all looked right at me several times and just carried on talking about what types of dog food they buy, not a single person told me they would be right with me, etc. Ive had nothing but issues, delays, and attitudes from staff since i moved here. So Lauras pharmacy down the street is starting to look really nice at this point. Im no longer using CVS in Azle. read more

I visited this CVS today to purchase quite a few items I was running low on. While checking out at the register, the cashier informed me that when she scanned one of the products, Olly Super Brainy, a message indicated that "This product cannot be sold". Naturally, I asked why it could not be sold. She shrugged her shoulders and casually presumed that it "could be a recalled item." Well, I had selected another item by the same company so I felt anxious about that and inquired about the message on her display monitor. Her response was that she was unaware of the meaning but just can't sell it. No clarification or concrete answer. I thought, well isn't there a standard process in place for a defected product in violation of FDA Regulation laws to be immediately removed from the shelves? Isn't that a priority to the health & safety of the public? She explained that she would have to look through her email which is time consuming. I told her that there was no recall sign posted near the product. She was unable to provide any further information but advised me to "google it". Frustrated, I just continued checking out and departed the store. On my drive home, I grew more concerned about the health safety hazard so I contacted the store to speak with the manager. The same cashier picked up the phone and stated that she was the manager-on-duty when asked. I reiterated my concerns regarding safety, specifically that there are specific recall procedures at store-level. My other concern was about her professionalism and communication with customers. She treated me like I was inconveniencing her by burdening her with questions about natural concerns. She responded by suggesting that she could just "google the product" for me. However, she missed the entire point. She mentioned that another manager was coming in at 3:00 pm, who I could address my concerns with instead. Needless to say, I contacted CVS Customer Relations instead. Unbelievably inexcusable. I received a call from the district manager who confirmed that there was a voluntary recall by the manufacturer for that specific item, however, that manufacturers typically do not provide details on why an item is being recalled. He assured that mistakes do happen. I asked him why the item wasn't removed and he replied that it could have been returned and overlooked. I read to the district manager the CVS Recall Policy which states the following: "within 1 business day of recall determination, Suppliers must initiate the recall and provide their CVS merchant with the recall details (e.g., Recall Risk Level, Return Authorization Number and Address, UPC, lot numbers) required in order for CVS to execute the recall at our Distribution Centers (DCs), Stores, and/or CVS.com." It also states that "In the event of a store recall, all lots of an impacted product must be removed from shelf and reconciled by the Supplier." He replied that he was unfamiliar with that policy and needed to read it. I thanked him for his time ended the conversation. He called back shortly thereafter and stated that after looking into it, he discovered it was a recall due to a typographical error and nothing to be worried about. (After previously stating that the manufacturer doesn't provide details). Incredible! I contacted the manufacturer to get the facts straight and they were shocked by the previous responses I received. They were able to verify that it was a labeling issue only but explained that regardless of the risk level, any recalled product should be removed from the shelves, unavailable to the market. There should also be a posted sign. Thankfully, in this situation, there was no health/safety risk associated with the recall. Hence, I won't be going back to that location. read more

Some of the worst customer service around. I'm enrolled in autofill with text message when ready. Not one text in 2 months. I went in yesterday after being diagnosed with the flu to pick up meds that were called in over an hour earlier. They said nothing was called in. I was informed by employee named Ashley that I had other rx to pick up and she asked 2 times if I wanted to pick up what was ready, both times I answered "yes", but asked if she could call Dr. or ask mgr. if they could look again to see if my new meds are there just not ready, I was sick, running high fever and felt horrible. She got angry and said there was no way to contact dr about flu meds but if I had a seat she would get my other meds ready while I was there. As I started walking to chair to wait she said loudly and with a condescending attitude," do you want the other meds or not?" I replied that I had told her twice "yes, I will take whatever is ready". She got even more condescending and said, " you walked off mid conversation so I thought you were going home". She saw exactly where I was going, to the waiting area to sit down, not the opposite direction to leave the store. The store is a holy hell of a mess, construction going on, the parking lot is closed off for construction, most spaces are taken up by employee parking leaving customers to park at Whataburger and walk to CVS. I got home 30 minutes later and checked online and guess what? My meds for the flu were filled and waiting. I picked up this morning and transfered all my usual meds to Albertsons. Ashley should be trained on how to do her job or go flip burgers, if she has the mental fortitude to flip burgers that is. She sure can't handle working at the CVS. Avoid CVS as long as Ashley works there. I hope she catches my flu. read more
