Lolled about Wegmans patio and headed over in about 6 minutes and the prescription was waiting for me. I barely had to wait in line. The cashier at the pharmacy was polite, quick and professional. For the aforementioned employees that leave much to be desired, one could almost believe they took the following trainings for their position: 1) How to sound patronizing, 2a) How not admit fault/take responsibility 2b) How to displace blame 3) How to make it sound like they are going out of the way doing YOU a favor (um, has anyone told you it's YOUR JOB?) The cherry on top? (Not a deal breaker, but still!) The pharmacy blasts the most abrasive hold music you'll ever hear, interrupted constantly by a recording of a woman apologizing OVER and OVER for the wait and insisting that all their employees are busy helping others. Every time I call, I am on hold for around 2-5 minutes. I don't mind holding. But I do under these circumstances. It makes me want to scream and throw my phone against the wall. How high is your threshold of tolerance for smooth jazz and the same repetitive interruption saying the same thing over and over again every 30 seconds? EVERY 30 seconds, one gets their hopes up thinking just maybe it's a real human picking up to help you, but no, it's that annoying recorded woman apologizing profusely again. I have given this pharmacy a few months to redeem itself but disappointingly have been let down consistently at least 75% of the time. One last aside: On a more serious note, when I first started using this pharmacy, I regrettably even had to report them for unethical and illegal conduct I experienced not once, not twice, but three times. In that instance, I truly hope they didn't know any better and it was a product of poor training. I should've heeded that red flag in the beginning and gone elsewhere sooner. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt. I am happy to share this hasn't happened again since I filed the report.

Holley Pharmacy started using computers in 1985 when neither CVS or Rite-Aid had them. Throughout the years it has adopted technologies that improved customer service. The staff is extremely friendly . Their pharmacist John Carl has been at the same Pharmacy since 1981. The owner Luke started at the same pharmacy when he was only 16 yrs old . The pharmacy techs Cori, Michelle, Kiersten has been there for over 10 years and are just awesome as far as customer service. The turnover rate in this place is better than Costco. Average time of an employee at the pharmacy is over 7years. The pharmacy also has a great delivery service with deliveries going out 3 times a day and it's totally free service because Holley Pharmacy cares. There are also many other employees in the pharmacy not mentioned here who give great customer service also. I know all this because I have going to Holley Pharmacy since the 80s.

This is an adequate Dollar General that did not have any of the waters I wanted, but had a cute friendly server working there who was nice to me. The parking lot is absolutely awful. It looks like land mines were set off here... there are enough pot holes to swallow up lesser cars and demolish lesser drivers. (Tosses hair). But they don't call me Vin Diesel for nothing. Actually they don't call me Vin Diesel at all but who's counting. It's good that Avon has a Dollar General but they should really fix this parking lot, and they were out of the only thing I wanted, so... 2. Chain info: I come to Dol Gen every Saturday to get 5 dollars off 25 (or sometimes off 30), which allows me to stock up on water from Tennessee (which tastes much better than tap water or any other brand of water, to me), and to stock up on tons of cat food for my kids, too. However, some stores (such as this one) sell the wrong kind of water (from Pennsylvania instead), which tastes awful. I go to different Dollar Generals just to mix it up, and so I can put more of them on the Yelp review map, and because it's always useful to know which ones have the good waters vs the bad. In other news, the parking lot is more in keeping with Appalling General.
