This should be ZERO STARS. This CVS is committing FRAUD! False advertisement on certain in-demand products like a specific ADVENT CALENDAR that is STILL advertised as available for pick up on their website, however, it is NOT available. This is deceptive business practices! When my 11yo daughter and her father arrived to pick up the previously paid for item online, thank goodness she opened it and realized it was the alleged "substitute" products, not the advent calendar. Mind you, the substitute products (2) only retailed for a total of approx $9.00. $5.99 x2 BUT these items were actually buy one get 50% off. The advent calendar was over $24.99. Thankfully, an honest and also embarrassed employee explained that the manager will NOT update the website that they are indeed sold out of that advent calendar. Instead, the manager has instructed the employees to "substitute" the Advent calendar with the replacement items instead and place in bag for customer pick up (mind you, we already ordered for pickup online AND paid for the product online b/c Avon CVS showed it was available!) Obviously, this was infuriating and ILLEGAL! The poor employee was so apologetic and stated she couldn't challenge the manager and just had to do what they were directed but that they knew it was wrong to do business this way. The manager wont update the website this type of advent calendar was not available. I applaud the employee that was honest and we will be filing a complaint with Corporate about this manager so that this employee doesnt experience retribution from a manager that is obviously crooked and Corporate needs to be aware to watch for any other criminal or fraudulent actions within this store. read more

I made a Minute Clinic appointment online for 6:15 PM. The clinic was closed when I arrived with permanent posted hours saying they closed at 5:30 that day. There is no excuse for being able to make an appointment at a pharmacy clinic when they are not open. This is absolutely pathetic and asinine. read more

I am writing this review based on my experience at the minute click and pharmacy. I had stomach flu symptoms and made an appointment online. When I arrived there after work, both the nurse and the nurse practitioner welcomed me and started seeing me right away. They were both so kind, friendly and sympathetic. They answered all the questions I had. I picked up my prescription in just 15 minutes after the visit and I was out of the door. Very smooth and efficient. With the number of COVID is increasing rapidly I am so thankful that I was able to make an appointment there as my family doctor is usually booked a few months out. I hope I don't get sick again anytime soon but if I ever do I will choose this location again! read more

Don't come to this store. The worst service EVER. I recently waited in the drive through for 45 minutes. I also recently waited for 15 minutes for someone to answer the phone. I just complained to the pharmacist and he gets these complaints constantly from customers. The worst part is that he has informed me that management has decided that there has been too much overtime and that there are too many staff and hours will be reduced. Fucking really!!?? Peak hours with one person running the counter AND the drive thru are too many people? I hate this fucking store. Expect a follow-up with the names and phone numbers of the store's pharmacy manager, and the regional director. This is bullshit! Pharmacies take in money hand over fist everyday. Worst pharmacy ever. Always long waits inside & in drive thru. They always loose my insurance info and try to charge me full price. I went through the drive thru and was given the wrong medication. I will receive text saying medication is ready and it's not available to pick up when I get there. Everyone but the actual pharmacist are brainless bodies who don't know what they're doing. First time writing a yelp review because of this terrible service! I needed a prescription because I had vertigo and the lady in the drive thru was entirely rude trying to tell me I had the wrong store and then slamming the sliding door! I've never had an experience like this at all whatsoever. She then told me to wait 20-25 minutes (I had already been waiting about 25 mins since there's a huge line) and then when I went back 2 hours later, I was told it would be ANOTHER 30 minutes and it STILL wasn't ready! It ended up taking over 4 hours before my prescription was ready. They need to get it together because it was ridiculous. read more

This is a fine CVS, if I do say so myself. This particular visit was for a flu shot at the Minute Clinic. While not my first time at this CVS, it was my first time at the Minute Clinic. The people here are always really nice and I like that. I don't need overly nice. I don't go into CVS to make friends, but I do like a courteous staff member. After Christmas one year we came in and the manager was doing mark downs. He was kind enough to let us know what was being marked down and point out the exceptional values. The staffer who rang up today's purchases was quick, funny and friendly. The line for the flu shots was long today (future Yelp! readers will remember this as the great Flu Epidemic 2013). The doctor on call quickly took care of those of us that she could, but still took the required time to diagnose people who were there for actual illness. read more

Had a prescription sent over by urgent care last night. Didn't stop by because I knew it wouldn't be ready right away; since it was about 8:30 I needed to get my kiddo home for bed. Stopped by 11 hours later the next morning and it's still not ready. They advised me it would be 30 ish minutes until it was ready. This location is open 24/7 so it's hard to fathom why prescription strength ibuprofen would take 11 hours to prepare. I'd love to say this is a one off but it's happened every time I've used this location. Steer clear! read more

I don't think this particular CVS pharmacy deserves even a one star but it's the lowest I could go. I used this pharmacy location for a little over a year and never had a pleasant experience. The line at the drive thru always took forever and when I would get to the window I was always greeted by someone who was rude and unprofessional. When I would go inside to the pharmacy I would be treated the exact same way. Everyone behind the counter always gave off the vibe that they hated their job. I was finally able to transfer my prescriptions to another location after moving and the CVS I go to now is absolutely wonderful. The employees actually ask me how I'm doing and are very pleasant. I wouldn't recommend this CVS location to anyone. Very poor customer service. read more

Horrible service. I called to ask about a prescription that was to be called in, the person answering the phone asked if I could hold. I held for 28 minutes. I'm fact I still holding. So, while holding one phone, I called on another. The RUDE person who answered asked if I could hold, when I started to say I WAS holding on another line, the "person" put me on hold before I could speak one word. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. I called the pharmacy at about 11:30 PM one evening and I got a pharmacist by the name of Tariq. He was very helpful in telling me what supplement I could take with the medication that I'm currently taking. I always worry about interactions He gave me all kinds of information and spent time explaining things to me. I was very pleased with the service I received. This CVS location is my favorite simply because the pharmacy staff is so great! And there is a minute clinic inside for those crazy after hours medical issues that simply can not wait until monday. The NP on duty can perscribe you just what you need. One quick tip would be not to stop in here in the morning if you are in a hurry the lady at the register is super slow but friendly. If you are in a hurry check out in the pharmacy or stop in somewhere else. read more

Absolutely rude and unprofessional. The pharmacist Tariq wouldn't even open the window completely because he said it was too cold. He then refused to refill my prescription because of my attitude. Sad thing is, most of the times CVS cant compare to Walgreens especially when it comes to selections on items. But this location really puts the location across the street to shame. Very rude and unprofessional! I was greeted by the pharmacist who seemed very stressed and In A hurry to get rid of me when I dropped off my script at the window. A smile would have been nice! . I dropped off my script last tues and said I can wait a couple days until I need it so she said ok I'll put it on hold.? I said no ,that way you guys can order it because it normally isn't in stock and takes a couple days to get, so why put it on hold? I called back a couple days later to see if it was ready , and they said no so I said I need it Friday and she said it will be ready on fri, no text all day , I left town then returned on Sunday , Still no text saying it was ready. Called Monday morning and they said it wasn't filled yet,wth?They told me they didn't have enough to fill the entire script. That's why I dropped it off a week ago!! I am trying to pick up a prescription right now at 8:25pm that was suppose to be ready at 7:00pm. I was told the online times are never accurate. My family will never return to this provider again! Highly inconsistent. I was seen at the Minute Clinic in December for the flu and bronchitis. I had had symptoms for four days and received an antibiotic. My husband got sick yesterday (March 21) and went to the Minute Clinic this morning. I am also currently sick (again) with bronchitis. My husband explained that bronchitis is going around his house and he would like an antibiotic. The practitioner told him it was "probably" the flu and she doesn't give an antibiotic for 10 days. So, why did I get an antibiotic prior to 10 days? When did we, as consumers, lose our right to have some say over our own healthcare? And, why is it that our doctors, who work for us, don't listen to what we have to say? Now my husband will have to miss several days of work prior to having relief. What a joke. read more

I've recently relocated to Central Indiana and am on a Claritin-D regimen from my previous doctor due to chronic sinus infections. I have purchased this product consistently since the onset of new allergies in 2007. I went to CVS a few weeks before and bought cosmetics. I took advantage of a few CVS buck purchases and bought twice the products I needed in order to gain the $10 in rewards since I know I have to spend $20 every 2 weeks on allergy medication. Well first of all CVS bucks have a lot of exclusions, one being pseudophedrin products. I guess a few drug addicts make us all suffer. So FYI CVS bucks are not the same as cash, there are restrictions. This is not what made my experience so bad, though. I asked the clerk for a 30 pack of the 12-hour dosage which she said she didn't carry. I asked for the 15 pack of the 24 hour dosage and she says, "oh no! you can only buy 5 or 10". I mentioned that I have been buying the 30 or 15 consistently for years. The pharmacist pipes up, "At CVS?" Well, no, but Costco, Rite-Aid, Target, Wal-Mart, Walgreens wherever is convenient for my bi-monthly purchase. He rolls his eyes. I ask the clerk to please give me the highest quantity pack. She says we have a 20 pack of the 12 hour, would you like brand name or generic. I answer brand name. She brings a 10 pack of the brand name. I ask again for the 20. She goes back and gets a 20 pack of generic. I ask her to please give me the 20 pack of brand name. She says I don't think we carry that. The pharmacist rolls his eyes again and very rudely says, "it's the same thing." I asked "What?" He says 2 12-hour tabs per day or 1 24-hour. I said, "well I would like to stop in as seldom as possible, so I care more about quantity than dosage." He huffs. The clerk says, "Was it generic or brand name, hun?" I say, "Brand name of the 20 quantity 12-hour, please". She says, "oh yeah, we do have that." Finally I was rung up for the product. The woman was kind, but forgetful. The pharmacist was unnecessarily rude. I was shocked at the poor treatment. I wish this product had a prescription, because I honestly felt the guy thought I had an addiction or something. I will not be returning to this branch and doubtfully CVS anywhere even with $10 in the very limited CVS bucks. read more

This is the most rude pharmacy I have ever encountered. I called to check on whether they stocked a medication that my grandchild needed. First, I was on hold waiting for the pharmacy to answer for over 5 minutes (8:30pm- not usually a high traffic time) before the pharmacy ever picked up. Once they answered, they refused to tell me whether or not they stocked the drug because "that is their policy." When the tech transferred me to the Pharmacist, he told me that they do not give out information because "they have been robbed." He was very curt. This was very very frustrating, as every other pharmacy I called was very nice about it and was willing to check or offer to order. Walgreens across the street went so far as to call another store and located it for me. DO NOT GO TO CVS AT DAN JONES RD AND ROCKVILLE!!!!! Go to Walgreens across the street or the CVS on 267 at 100N (they are pretty awesome too). I should have remembered when, at a different time, I dared to ask the pharmacy staff to help me find something and they were so rude I walked out. I give this CVS Pharmacy one star only because I can not go any lower. Their Customer Service is appalling to say the least. From being short staffed, slow, missing doctors orders, anything you can think of, you name it it happens at this CVS. I am all "sorried" out by these people. Each time it's always "We are so sorry..." With each visit??? Really!!! they have used up ALL their sorries with me. I stay in Avon and this Pharmacy is very close to my home, I would rather drive to another CVS for days if that means I get better service than the service i have gotten here. Anyone who claims to have any kind of positive experience at this pharmacy must be having their prescriptions filled once a year. Needless to say, I will be getting my prescriptions filled at Speedway, 45mins away and I will gladly drive with a huge smile because I am guaranteed better service. The minute clinic skipped me! I held my place in line using the online check in and drove there. I registered on the machine and it had held my place, told me I was next. There was another person there waiting, and it showed their name behind mine. I sat and waited, in pain and agony as I suspected an illness that was painful and caused me to need to use the bathroom frequently. The man in the office ahead of me left and without getting out of her chair, the nurse called the person behind me, who got up quickly and went in and closed the door. As I am outside saying "hey? I was next!?" I watch the machine reset my time of 0 min wait to another 18! No apology, no answers to my protests outside the closed door. I ended up leaving and going across the street to a regular urgent care, where I was seen right away and given medication. There is a Walgreens across the street from this cvs, and I had my RX sent there. I've given this CVS so many chances but this was the last straw for me. Never going back. read more
