Not sure why the reviews are THIS low. It's just a CVS you guys! An "a-okay" CVS, right about average. Yes I've seen cleaner; better organized, stocked, and staffed... but I've also seen way worse. I don't use the pharmacy here so I cannot speak to that, but running in for a few items -- sunscreen, a gift card and gift bag, a candle, simple seasonal decor, a snack, a coke, a set of press on nails and nail glue, cold medicine, tweezers, some beer, a pair of socks, batteries -- who doesn't love being able to park right outside the door and get in and out so fast? read more

Apparently, they close for lunch until 2:00. I find that very odd since they are a pharmacy. Not many other stores shut everything down for lunch. I don't know any grocery stores or gas stations that just shut down for lunch in the middle of business hours! I don't care that they sell convenience store stuff. They are a pharmacy. The pharmacy should be open during all regular business hours, especially since they claim they are open 24 hours! There wasn't even a sign saying they were closed for lunch and what time they would reopen. I had to ask the not-so-helpful cashier at the front of the store. I went here for medication for a painful issue, and they had no record of the prescription. I went home and called the urgent care, who confirmed they had sent it and even called the pharmacy to verify. I was told to come back in half an hour. In good faith, I gave them an hour. They still didn't have it. I called urgent care again--turns out CVS had my name wrong. I get back in line, and they tell me it's not ready yet, but they're going on break. This is incompetence of the highest order. Avoid this place, your life might depend on it. read more

I love this pharmacy! I guess it's all relative based on your situation but for me this place is convenient, 24 hours! The location is 5 minutes away. I have never had trouble calling the location. They also seem to always need to drugs I need. Whenever I've needed something more complicated, they have always helped. They work really fast so never really have to wait. Since I have to use CVS, this is my go to pharmacy! Then of course all CVS stores have a bunch of stuff you don't need and you will never understand how to actually access the coupons on all that paper. Not sure of the other situations causing negative reviews but I like the store. read more

I would like to complain about CVS's pharmacist the African man. Every time I've had a prescription called in there which I hate. I end up having to deal with this man. He is so unprofessional so condescending and downright rude and hateful every single time. How he continues to work there is beyond me because with that attitude and the way he deals with his customers he should be fired. Recently went to the min clinic at this CVS. First, I called and was told it would only be $140 out of pocket. The total ended up being $230, or an evaluation and flu test. Ashley was the NP who saw me. She was nice, did a good assessment and answered my questions and concerns. I shared some personal information and after, you could tell the tone changed. Felt a little judged. When the time came for the payment I told her what I was told and she kinda blew me off and just wanted my card even though this person knows nothing about me. Kinda felt belittled. When it was time for the visit to be over she kinda shewed me away. Body language felt like she was implying "GTFO" Point is. The provider was nice. I don't need to be coddled. But, I shouldn't feel judged or pushed away when I share personal information about me. I tried to engage but I just felt like a number. I will never use a CVS min clinic again. Btw I'm in healthcare too, I get it. If you're bitter about healthcare and people then it's time for you to get out. I think anyone reading this would agree that if you were a patient you'd want your provider to treat you like it's their own mother/ wife/ son. That's what we should be doing. Recently dropped by the store to grab some makeup. As I'm perusing the aisles for colors and brands (which all of the makeup displays were empty so couldn't grab anything I needed anyways) I over heard who I assume was the manager, verbally abusing one of the employees at the check out counter. He was an older black skinned man with an African accent. The horribly condescending tone and manner with which this man talked to his employee was disgusting to say the least. Accusing her of things, calling her names, just being a downright horrible person. And IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS! If an employee needs to be talked to it should be done away from the front desk in the office. Not right there in the open where everyone can hear and see. Though I'm glad I heard him so I know NOT to come to this store ever again. I was minutes away from walking up to him and telling him to shut up! I will not and cannot support a company or store that allows their managers to be so hateful and nasty to their employees. And the employee was so sweet and nice when I walked up to check out. CVS Pharmacy - 1 hour waiting for someone to answer - Drugstores Near Me - ARLINGTON, Texas

I had a great experience at their Minute clinic. I recommend scheduling a minute clinic appointment a few hours ahead of advance instead of signing up for a time slot that is five minutes away. If you have a primary care physician, have reasonably good health insurance, and are not in an emergency situation, then the Minute clinic may be a pricier option. Due to social distancing, I needed to wait in my car until I received a phone call from the doctor telling me to enter. Upon entering the examination room, the doctor was patient and professional. My prescription for antibiotics was prescribed and picked up within seven minutes after my appointment. The antibiotics were rather pricey for medicine that's common, so only get prescription medicine from here if you're in a rush. If I were not in a rush, then I would've picked up my medicine from Costco for its cheaper price. The cashier register staff were confusing. As soon as I entered, one of the staff members started making hand signals at me. I'm not her, so I don't understand why she couldn't just use words to convey her desired message. read more

I love going to this pharmacy but you CAN NOT GET ANYONE ON THE PHONE EVER. I sit on hold all the time for 10-15 minutes just for someone to pick up the phone and hang it up. It is so frustrating. This CVS Drugstore is a great place to run in and grab something you need right now. Usually a birthday card or cold medicine. At least that is what I do. They actually have a good selection of items and some good sales in the paper. I still just get birthday cards. I did go here for prescriptions medication in the past and I have brought my mom here. I will not do that anymore. This CVS pharmacy seems always busy. The service is slow not very friendly. They also appear to be overwhelmed. The wait can be forever and the drive thru is no better with service. I started going somewhere else and so has my mom. I think that this pharmacy is just to busy As for the rest of the store they are great for a quick buy. Service is fine check-out is fast, easy in and out parking. Doesn't even deserve 1 star... LITERALLY on hold to find out the status of my Rx for 34 minutes. Are you kidding me??!! UPDATE: Someone finally came back to the phone at the 52 minute mark as I'm standing in line IN the store to pay for my Rx that had not been filled until I walked into the store and asked about it. It actually got worse...when trying to check out the card reader wouldn't work. A clerk told the pharmacist that the machine was broken yet she continued to try to use it. We finally moved to another one. My phone number wasn't in the system...funny since all of my information has been provided in the CVS app. Not that surprising since the entire store appears to be outdated so not a shocker that their technology doesn't sync. 9pm on a Wednesday, I go to the drive through with my prescriptions from the ER for Augmentin and Naprosyn. The young lady takes my papers and returns approximately 30 seconds later as says they "don't have these right now". I don't understand how a pharmacy as popular as CVS can be out of both of these meds?! Honestly, I feel like she was lazy and didn't want to fill them. She didn't even mention that one of them is over the counter and I could purchase it that way. Along with recent visits that always ends up with me standing in line way too long or being told to have a seat and literally 20 minutes later still no update. I called to confirm store hours because I have an appointment for the vaccine on Easter, and online said that their hours would be different due to it being a holiday. I wanted to call and confirm because last Sunday I drove 3 hours to a different CVS to get the vaccine but arrived 3 minutes after their pharmacy closed and couldn't get the vaccine. So you can probably see why I would want to call ahead and confirm store hours. However, after waiting an hour on hold on the phone, I was met with a very rude person on the line. She had an attitude as if I was stupid for calling to confirm and said "well online says 24 hours, so what are you even asking for." So, after a hour at the ER I needed a 24 hour pharmacy to fill my prescribe medications. After being told at Walgreens that my prescription would take 2 HOURS, I decided to call this CVS Pharmacy to see the wait time and then gentlemen said it was only 20 minutes! I was in SO much pain, but I was so relieved that I was able to get my medication in less than a hour. Once I got to the pharmacy and checked in, it didn't even take 20 minutes before the pharmacist had my medications ready. Huge thank you to Glen for being so kind and attentive! read more

I had absolutely the worst experience at cvs yesterday. I went In to get my prescription and vitamins are buy 1 get 1 so I got them also. It took 30 min standing in a liberal with only 4 people in front of me but unfortunately that wasn't the problem. The guy rang me up and I asked if my cvs card was on my order and if I got my discounts. He said yes. I get home and I was charged full price so I had to go back . That still wasn't the big issue. The young lady at the register couldn't scan my receipt to give me a return and she couldn't read the receipt number. She called the manager, he told her to talk to supervisor on duty. She walked up with an attitude, made it sound like it was my fault and my receipt was non-compliant and she couldn't give me a refund. It's their machine that messed up my receipt. She told me I could go try at the pharmacy. I told her I was already in line for 30 minutes and my feet are killing me. I'm having surgery on them both in June. I came in for pain meds originally. I did have a raised voice at this point. No I was not yelling at all. She told me again she couldn't help me and I could try at the pharmacy. I told her I use to be a shift supervisor there also and I know for a fact that she can help me. She just didn't want to. The were completely dead up front and the pharmacy was crazy busy. Why couldn't she just do her job? Well she calls the cops on me as I'm walking to the back telling them she has an unruly customer that will not leave. OMG really... I told the person at the pharmacy that I just want a refund at this point and that he didn't give me my discount. The supervisor from up front came up to him and told him not to help me and the she was on the phone with the police. So he goes to the register and helps next in line so I go get in that line. The police show up while I was on the phone with customer service so I could have them look up my receipt number. They couldn't find it under my phone number even though it shows on my receipt that my care card was on it. So she said she would transfer me to credit card service and they could look it up for me. This is exactly what I Learned to do for a customer at cvs when their receipt number didn't work. I was on hold and the pharmacy couldn't do anything for me either because their machine messed up my receipt. So I continued to hold while I was holding I explained everything to the police.. everyone around me in line was agreeing with me and said they have had the same problem there. The police were super nice and even helped me out. Finally the pharmacy manager comes and says he can do a return without the receipt. Ok so I can get off the phone with customer service? He said yes. So I did... the kid rang up the product to give me refund. But this time when he rang the vitamins up they rang up buy 1 get 1 so I ended up only getting 41 of my 82 I spent on them. I gave my receipt to the officer and she added up exactly what I spent and told them they are wrong and he needs to refund the rest. He said he couldn't do that. So I said get your manager again. He said ok but he won't know what to do either. While he was gone the officer said what if you take the vitamins and he no longer owes you anything. I said perfect. That is what I wanted in the first place. I paid exactly what I would have for by 1 get 1.I.. so the manager came back and the officer told him her thought and he agreed. She put the stuff in the bag and gave it to me. They could not believe the supervisor called then because I was not being irate or causing a scene. I was 100% with in my rights. On my way out the supervisor and 4 other workers were watching the whole thing from the minute clinic. I told her on my way out that I told her she could have taken care of me. She made a comment and I said poor Lady as I kept walking to the door. She came running after me yelling at me to say it to her face b$T$H.. I turned and looked at her. The cops are running to her and I said poor lady again and as the cops were holding her back she said I ain't poor B$tch twice. The police looked at me while holding her back and asked me nicely to go. So I said have a great day and left. I will never return there again read more

Long lines at the drive through are caused by the very very long waits for service - on a sleepy Sunday afternoon I waited 15 minutes at the window for an attendant to appear. A one star average for this place is generous. The pharmacy is habitually under-staffed. They're marginally friendly, probably because they're so busy. I was thrilled to start using a newly opened Walgreens nearby a few years ago. Unfortunately my insurance sort of forces me back to freaking CVS. And it's exactly how I left it. Slow. Understaffed. Never answers the phone; closes drive thru which is very hard when you have a sick kid with you; go to Walgreens if you can

Normally I don't have any issues with this pharmacy. Though after walgreens refused to take my insurance (BCBS) I turned to CVS. I called them yesterday around noon and asked them to transfer the prescription from Walgreens and that I would pick it up that evening around 6pm. I get there after 6pm yesterday and find out they never called Walgreens to get the transfer. I was forgiving seeing that the pharmacist looked genuinely exhausted. He supposedly called Walgreens while i waited and initiated the transfer. I told him I would be back around noon today. I had an unplanned work meeting at noon so wasn't able to go until after 3pm. But since i didn't get a text saying the script was ready i called to check the status first. After a long wait on hold, the pharmacist finally came on because the automated system couldn't find the script. He asked when it was supposed to be transferred and I told him exactly what I just posted above. I am immediately put on hold without a word and it has been 1:15minutes now (I am still on hold as I type this) and still no one has come back to the phone. So apparently when they don't want to do a transfer they just ignore you. I was nice and forgiving when i went in last time. If i have to go in again, i will not be nice. read more

It's always one thing after a next with this location. They have forgotten to fill my prescription not once, but twice, on 2 separate occasions. The workers talk to you like you're slow, and they are no help. They always make excuses, and do not update you on any delays with your prescription. This CVS is pure awesomeness. I've dropped in here a few times and been surprised at how well stocked this location is. Once I came in before a baby shower and found a great gift to add to my baby basket for next to nothing because it was on baby clearance. Sweet! Another time I dropped in to see if they had any sale items remaining and to my surprise they did. Maybe it's the area and the lack of couponers but the shelves are well stocked. Employees are always friendly, greeting you the second you walk through the sliding doors. They're willing to help and do so with a smile. I can't speak for the pharmacy, which seems to be a point of contention for many of the previous posters. What I did notice when I walked by the pharmacy was a group of friendly employees who were working diligently to dispense medicine to customers in need. I just left this location for the third time to pick up my prescription and for the third time I was told they do not have my prescription. When I asked for my prescription I was told I must find a pharmacy with the medicine and then they would transfer it. I asked them to call around and was rudely told that I had to call myself. Talk about horrible customer service! I trusted CVS to fill my prescription. I would assume they would respect their customers situations and try to solve a problem which was caused by their stock issues. Had an appointment for a covid booster and flu shot. Get there and told to wait as the pharmacist is busy. After waiting for 30 minutes after appointment time, pharmacist begins getting shots ready and is asked by a few walk-in if this is where the shots are given. She says yes and proceeds to give the walk-ins their shots when there are 5 people with appointments that have been waiting. When confronted she said she didn't know that there were any people waiting. What is the point of making an appointment when they will just ignore you and give people walking in priority. read more

I work in the pharmacy industry and I am appalled at tue blatant arrogance this location shows people. I was yelled at by a CPhT for being on the phone (for 45min) while also waiting in line. Then I spoke with the Minute Clinic coordinator who asked me to wait while she finished stocking toilet paper...I kid you not. I asked to speak to a manager and was told "come back tomorrow; we don't have any working today that can speak with you." Completely pathetic customer service and horrible patient care. read more

Is it possible to give a negative star rating? If it were, I would give a -5 stars. I can not begin to describe accurately how horrible this store is. The customer service. or lack there of, is the problem. And it ranges from the pharmacy to the front checkout. I have a horrible experience almost every time I go, but I'll just list some of the extreme situations. Let's start with the pharmacy. The wait is horrific whether you're inside or the drive through. I've waited in a very long line inside before, only to have the cashier walk out for her break before I got to the front, with 10 other customers in line and tell no one!!! I mean there was no one to replace her and the pharmacists just stand there with blank looks on their faces. And this has happened more than once, so this is obviously company policy??? I've been overcharged there on numerous occasions, having to go back and "deal with the situation" when it wasn't so crowded! I personally don't have an extra $80 to be spending on scripts because their employees are morons and don't know how to properly bill insurance companies or use pharmaceutical coupons nor do I have the time to come back after every mistake. The front cashiers have their own issues, but I went in one night late to get pain reliever for my infant, and somehow the clerk starts asking me how to tell if you have a yeast infection and what's the best remedy for one. SERIOUSLY??? You work in a damn pharmacy!!! I don't care if you're yeasty of not! I'm sure a big problem here is that they're understaffed and super busy.
