I scheduled a vaccine appointment for 11am, and put all my new information in the system prior to the appointment the night before. I woke up to a text and email saying they cancelled my appointment due to insurance. Once I arrived, they told me my insurance did not work, which was a shock to me as I started my new insurance this January. I gave them the same card I put in the system myself, and it went through. Part of me feels like they just didn't run my new insurance prior to the appointment, however I gave them the benefit of the doubt. About 11:30 she asks how soon can I get the shot, and I tell her immediately as I've been waiting. She says great, take a seat and someone will be right there. I sit. And I sit. And I sit. I am sitting at 7 months pregnant, super tired, hungry, and now getting irritable. Finally an hour later she comes and apologizes and gives me the shot. I genuinely think she forgot, as she told me to first sit where I wouldn't be seen by the pharmacy, and then she told me to move again after an hour to where she could see me. Then she gave me the shot. I do want to say, she was apologetic and very polite. But when it comes to my health, it honestly made me SO nervous to get a shot from her. She seemed super overwhelmed and absent minded at the time, and there was only one guest there prior to me. I just got so worried that she didn't give me the right shot, not to mention I got SO sick after this shot and had serious reaction the same night, which I know can be normal, but it freaked me out. It was weird. If I ever get another shot here, I want it to be the same people who gave me the shots in September. As for everyone else in this place, I really do love them, so it saddens me to have a bad experience with this particular pharmacist and day.

And always right! Plus delivery! When I do go in, I like to peruse the isles to see what the latest products they have are and if they don't have it, they will get it! They go out of their way to save you money too! Always staying on top of generics and co-pays. They were always so patient with my mother in explaining her medications, etc. You couldn't ask for better pharmacists! I just love all the FMS pharmacy staff!

If I printed how he earned my trust everyone would want the same treatment but he went the extra step to assist me that I know no other business man would do.

Overall, I really like this Walmart, and the staff has been very kind and knowledgeable. However, tonight when I needed a mobility cart to get around, only one out of the eight mobility carts they had were operable and charged, and the one cart that did work, had a horrible bump every few seconds and would periodically die, needing to be turned back on to operate. Seeing as Calera has an older population, I think having mobility carts operable is vital. I do hope someone reads this and can help improve this issue in the future.

Update: I switched prescribers again to Holtorf Medical in El Segundo, CA in order to get my compounded medicines from their dispensary. I originally saw them years ago and they diagnosed my thyroid condition and put me on a bioidentical T3 formula which significantly improved my well being. They're a cash only practice and charge mega $$ per appt, but I find their standard of care well worth it. I believe that they will work with patients remotely as well.
