While cahaba is still sometimes more convenient kn my way home from work, this location is more direct if im coming from home. Traveling side, both have lovely staff and they offer delivery service! Today's crew assisted us with our Tamiflu and we stocked up on kids ibuprofen and acetominophin. The flu season has been awful so they could only supply the initial doses for my two boys, but they will be delivering the rest tomorrow. I love supporting local, especially Jim and his team. I called our insurance company and this is not true. After doing research I found out pharmacists make more money filling 30 days vs 90. They did this to me last month. My son is 26 and aged out on insurance. The last two months, they have filed his prescriptions on our insurance. I called two months ago asking to remove his insurance from the system. They did not. I included notes this month saying no insurance, cash purchase and asked for 90 days. They gave him 30 days AGAIN. I made them fix their mistake today. She was not happy about being called out. I was NOT happy either. Do not take their word. Call your insurance company. Do not accept a 30 day supply. Very disappointed in Hinkle! We have good experiences until the last two months. I arrived at 10am and the doors are locked - closed all weekend! A sign on the door says they are not open on Saturday although it says they are open online! The website information needs to be changed and it would be helpful if they gave you this information when they call on a Friday afternoon to let you know your prescription is ready. Research and one of those discount cards had gotten me down to $122-160, but then the office staff asked if they had looked up the price with PharmSouth. She told me the price on their latest price list (about a month old), and I was sold. She sent the order to PharmSouth immediately. Filling it was easy, too. When they get the order, they text you a link to complete all the info. They would happily have mailed it, too, but we needed it ASAP, so I drove out to Mt. Laurel. I had already paid online, so I just walked in, gave the name then off I went! Super easy, and refills can be mailed to my address in town or my student's school address. Oh, and the price... It was even less than the old price list I was quoted by the doc's office. Under $40. UNDER $40 for the med I had been quoted, *with insurance*, by another pharmacy at 10x the amount I ultimately paid. I will check with them often for our pharmaceutical needs!
