Still no apology or offer to make this right by CVS even after I emailed and called to complain in May. Went to Market Street Pharmacy on Buffalo Gap. I'm in cvs and there are 4 chicks working. I stood here 20 minutes, ZERO customers had fully been helped, zero phone calls have been answered and when the girl FINALLY spoke to me. It was to tell me she couldn't help me even though my prescriptions are already here AND I've been notified electronically that they've been filled since yesterday. In the SECOND line I've been waiting another 10 minutes while the girl, who has been helping the same woman for the last 30 minutes tells her "it [the system] just doesn't like it [her insurance information]." FORTY FIVE MINUTES LATER I just left. They not only do not have any of my meds in stock (remember it was FILLED YESTERDAY AND IS SITTING ON A SHELF) but they "CAN'T" transfer a prescription to another pharmacy. Oh, you can and you will, child. You can and you will. I've been using CVS for YEARS across the USA and this is the ONLY time I've had such a bad experience. Yikes. Seriously. read more

Wow! CVS has come a long way. I used to frequent their biggest competitor but over the past year, CVS has far exceeded them in customer service, speed, and friendliness! Thursday afternoon, I was not even out of the doctor's office before I received a text that my prescription was ready. I drove up straight from the clinic without having to go home and get out again. Service was speedy. Price was amazing. And the employee said "I hope you feel better soon." Not just on this occasion but each time lately, I have received amazing customer service! If this store is any indication of the company as a whole, then I definitely recommend CVS! read more

I do not understand how this pharmacy is still open. We have been using CVS at Buffalo Gap road for at least 20 years with occasional minor problems However, the last few years have been unbearable. We moved our prescriptions to HEB and Walmart and it's been better. I wanted to get an older script filled today and called this morning to speak to pharmacist. After holding 16 minutes, I had to use my phone so I dropped off. I tried again after lunch but same thing, then again later, same thing. I called again and said I wanted to talk to someone up front. A man finally answered and I asked him if they were open, he said yes, I asked him if there were any pharmacist and he said there were 4 working back there. He said he didn't know why they weren't answering but he would transfer the cal. l back there and he would go back and tell them. After another 10 minute hold I gave up. Absolutely the worst pharmacy experience I have ever had in person, drive through, and on the phone. The pharmacy staff is rude, uncaring, unprofessional, and absolutely worthless. I have never gone in and had my rx ready, even when called and told it was ready. Everytime there is an issue! I complained to the manager on one visit, he wouldn't even look me in the eye and just kept on moving some stock around on the shelf. Never even acknowledged my concern. Horrible experience with this pharmacy. Rude and slow. Went to fill a prescription. Showed them my insurance card. After standing there for five minutes with no one in front of me. He said if you'd like to wait it'll only be 15 minutes. An HOUR later I was able to get my prescription when another person asked to see my insurance card AGAIN. Handed it to them, and they said they couldn't accept that insurance card and I'd have to pay full price. Really? The guy who I originally showed my card to couldn't tell me that before I waited an hour? Horrible experience. Another women in front of me had been waiting for an hour and a half for a prescription that was called in earlier in the day by her physician. The pharmacist never checked his messages. These people do not care about their customers. That is most evident. Never using this store again! read more

I have filled my prescriptions at this pharmacy for more than 15 years. Up until 2 months ago that is. It seems that when CVS went to being open 24/365 days a year that customer service and customer care went out the window. I used to be able to drop off a prescription and it would be ready no later than 30 minutes later. Those days are long gone, I wish they weren't. I have been told to go and sit down, my prescription would be ready in 45 minutes to 1 hour, that day my prescription didn't get filled at all. I needed that medication that day, as I had a procedure done on my neck. I could go on and on about the issues and how people were indeed being treated like numbers, not as paying customers. But that would take way too long. Needless to say, I no longer have my prescriptions filled at that pharmacy. Albertsons Save-On pharmacy is where I do my business now. They treat you like you matter and get your prescriptions filled in a timely manner. Now this review only pertains to the pharmacy, not the main store. As the main part of the store is just fine for picking up miscellaneous items while you wait for your prescriptions to be filled. Well, if you still get them filled there. read more

Worst customer service by Megan at the drug counter. Rude and put out for me asking a question

Just moved from Waco here for my husbands work. I don't know the area so I just picked the first pharmacy I saw here. I went there three times and they are basically holding my prescription hostage. They say my insurance was denied call the company, which I did and they don't know what is going on. The manager didn't even look at my insurance card to see if it was approved. I'm from Oregon where it is "healthnet" but if you open it up it says a different name "in all other states" which he would know if he actually looked at the card and opened it up. Terrible place. Don't go. It was my first experience ever with cvs and it will definitely be my last. I gave them one star because I couldn't give zero....they literally made me cry. They were so cold and heartless and unprofessional, never have I experienced this. Terrible welcoming to Abilene. read more

I had a really bad experience with another pharmacy in town (I'm fairly new to Abilene) so decided to try CVS. They worked with my insurance carrier to correct the problem--went out of their way--and had my new prescription ready quickly, correctly, and delivered with a smile! I am very grateful for all their assistance, including contacting my insurance carrier directly to facilitate the correction of the problem. They were terrific. Thanks! No problems, no excuses, just helped get the problem (which was not theirs!) corrected and got my prescription filed. read more

Just horrible.I've been filling there for a year or more and the last 7 times it has been a nightmare! The leader of these handicapped folks do sent even speak English.they say be here at 5 and aftervdriving in ffrom outta town they say they don't even have the script.I won't go thru all the utter failures I have wittnessed at this place.but I kept going back for six months and it never got any better.hire an American!!! read more

I have been a long time customer of CVS for most of my adult life and fill prescriptions for my entire family when needed. My latest experience has led me to the decision to look for a new pharmacy. I bring my sons rx through the drive-thru. The pharm tech checks to see if its in stock. In this instance, the medication was not in stock. She then asks me if I would like them to order it, which would take a few days. So I the customer, not the employee suggest instead to check another CVS pharmacy. What a concept. Lets see if we can get the customer their rx sooner rather than later. After I made the suggestion, she then "rolls her eyes" as she pulls away from the window. I couldn't believe what I had just seen. She finds the medication at the N 10th. and Willis location. I proceed there and my experience just got worse. Its obvious customer service is not important to them. I know that wont miss my business. But, I wont subject myself to bad customer service from them any longer. I have called customer service to complain before, but no positive change has ever come, nor do I think it ever will. These Big Box pharmacies just don't care. Period. If I could rate 1/2 star, I would do so. read more
