I recently purchased two pairs of eyeglasses from Visionworks and couldn't have had a more pleasant experience. Stephanie was absolutely AWESOME. Very HELPFUL, but not stifling, in assisting my frames selection, was very knowledgeable re: progressive lenses, the "blue" lenses, etc. Also had no problems negotiating through my vision insurance and saved me a whopping big amount of money. I would recommend this particular Visionworks store to everyone. The other lady working in the store (can't remember her name) was also so pleasant and helpful. This place has great customer service from the moment we walked in. We were greeted by one sales associate and directed to where we needed to go by telling us the store setup. Within less than five minutes another sales associate approached us to give assistance. When we were finally ready Melinda's speed and friendlessness was impeccable. And to really give her credit my daughter changed her mind at the last minute and with the same friendly smile voided our first transaction and changed the order for us!! Boo. I paid $379.95 for glasses that were NOT what I asked for. I told the sales lady when I picked them up that they were NOT acceptable. She told me to wear them anyway. So, I tried for a day but they did not perform adequately. I needed glasses I could wear all day everyday, AND use as a fashion accessory. However, these glasses do not perform any better than a $20 pair of "readers" from Wal-Mart. read more
