This is a delicious backyard peruvian food establishment, where the chef is mexican, with over eight years of experience from working at a peruvian restaurant decided to start his own business Adventure in 2020 . This family has been successful because their food is so delicious. They've had many of the same customers from when they first started. But now have this beautiful area, let an oasis where you can sit down and enjoy your food.very calm and relaxing vipes and the owners are so friendly. They make you feel very welcome then at home. You comfort the food and you stay for the vibes. I was able to try almost everything on their menu lomo. Saltado shrimp chaufa and tallarin de pollo. Everything's so delicious. Ten out of ten and they serve you, some really hot, very flavorful soup that you're going to love.

When I finally logged into Yelp to do just that, I was genuinely saddened to see that this place has since closed. It honestly broke my heart, because this was one of those dining experiences that truly stayed with me. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was stunning--beautiful rooftop vibes, warm energy, and a space that immediately made you feel like you were about to experience something special. The food itself was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish we tried was thoughtfully executed, beautifully plated, and bursting with flavor. You could taste the care, creativity, and intention behind each bite. The Peruvian inspiration throughout the menu was both authentic and elevated, striking the perfect balance between comfort and sophistication. One of the most memorable parts of the experience was the chef herself coming out to introduce herself. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and passionate. You could tell she truly poured her heart into her food. She took the time to explain the inspiration behind the dishes, and it made the entire meal feel even more meaningful. That level of personal touch is rare and so appreciated. Looking back at these photos now just reminds me how special this place was. Delicious food, a talented and thoughtful chef, and an overall experience that left a lasting impression. It's such a shame this spot is no longer around, because it truly deserved all the love and recognition. If the chef ever opens another concept, I will absolutely be first in line. Thank you for such a memorable meal--this is one I won't forget.

I just saw my receipt and there are all these up charges: 1% service charge, 4% benefits surcharge, and another charge to use the cashless Sunday platform fee of $1.49, plus automatic gratuity, in case you didn't know and you tip on top of that. For the quinoa beet salad and a drink it was almost $60, not worth the meal but it was a cute rooftop place to try out.

It's better to come right around when they open to escape the lines. Doesn't matter when you come, people will come in drones to eat this delicious food. They do a tasty Lomo Saltado ($22.75) and the portion size is MASSIVE, it could easily be shared among two people. I ate the whole thing and immediately entered a food coma and my belly was smiling..I swear. They bring a complimentary hot dinner roll with butter before they bring you your dish. The green aji verde is spot on, it's spicy, but not overly spicy and it has great flavor. Prepare to cover your food with this delicious sauce. I will definitely be back for Lomo Saltado and to try other dishes. FYI, There's a 3.5% charge for using a credit card, so pay cash and a save a bit.

We paid $86 plus tip she didn't deserve for lomo saltado, pescado frito and shrimp cerviche. $100 for 2 people and couldn't even get a refill. I'm good with paying that price if the service reflected that. In conclusion food is good- but not good enough to pay the high prices and bad service.

But there was so much to eat and it was all so flavorful. The ceviche classico is some of the best I've had in years. Lots of fish, tangy, incredible with the Peruvian corn and sweet potato fixins. The Peruvian food is still as good now as it was then. I ordered the Aquadito de Pollo which is a chicken soup with a distinct herbal flavor. There is plenty of tender chicken in the soup. It was a good start to my main which was Saltado de Pollo, my favorite. The dish was nicely prepared with a good ratio mix of chicken, onions, tomatoes, and French fries. It was not too salty at all. Rosty seems to make an exemplary Saltado de Pollo. The Chicha Morada was refreshing with the meal. I would return to Rosty if I am in the area again. Dining areas are comfortable with staff being friendly and efficient. The neighborhood looked gentrified with many other businesses in close proximity to explore. Street parking is usually available on the side streets if none is found in front of the restaurant.
