If you reflect outside, you can see how this used to be a bunch of separate businesses and houses that gradually turned into the large spot that's here today. The exterior is historic brick facades, some of which carry over inside. It's along a street that has been transformed into pedestrian only access, so you'll have a pleasant visit if you sit outside to enjoy the fresh air, shady trees, and passersby. Inside there is a ton to look at. The main entrance toward the middle hold the original brewing system from when they first started; they've come a long way. To the left you'll find the merchandise store, with beer to go, plus a ton of apparel, swag, and other merchandise. To the right begin the bar areas, and there are a few. The old bar is here, right at the crossroads of all the staircases and hallways: the basement is its own vibe and also has the only restrooms, main level has various seating areas. If you're at the main bar, you can order direct from the bar; our bartender was so fast and attentive despite the huge crows. Upstairs is another experience with old creaky floors and many small rooms for more intimate conversations. Everywhere throughout is historic brewery art, trays, bottles, etc. from the region, most of which are long gone.
