These boats are built by a group of guys that really care about what goes into a boat. Part of the ranger tug family.

We were original owners who kept our 2021 RT29S inside a Certified Clean Marina saltwater boathouse…read moreyear-round. Despite following recommended maintenance and having a diver check anodes and hull condition underwater every 3 months, we experienced excessive corrosion of trim tabs and prop even though anodes were not excessively affected. The first trim tab corroded and fell off 16 months after we took possession. Our boathouse was checked by 3 different professionals and no stray A/C current was ever found!! RT recommended we add additional zinc to trim tabs. We added extra zinc, also paid RT to install a galvanic isolator just to be sure. Then, we lost a second trim tab and prop to corrosion. Our marina manager, then our mechanic, surveyed and found D/C current going through several wires on our boat that shouldn't have current. Our mechanic told us faulty factory wiring caused a D/C leak resulting in the corrosion of trim tabs and prop. Our mechanic repaired a few other improperly wired RT boats and even spoken to RT representatives about it. Our diver has seen excessive corrosion recently in some late model RT's kept in year-round saltwater, despite performing recommended maintenance, adding additional zinc per RT representatives and no A/C current leak. The diver hasn't seen this in other boats under similar conditions. When we contacted RT about the latent defect and asked for reimbursement for excessive corrosion damage and repair, they helped with some replacement parts, but were not helpful troubleshooting the cause. They didn't seem interested in understanding the improper factory wiring issue. Instead, they accused us of not maintaining our boat! In the end RT refused to pay for wiring repair and wiring defect damage. I just want others experiencing excessive corrosion to understand the probable cause and get an electrical survey done.

My parents were customers long before I was, and that kind of multi-generation loyalty doesn't happen by accident -- it happens because they consistently show up, care, and do right by people. Every single visit reminds us why we keep coming back. They're knowledgeable, fair, and genuinely proactive about keeping our boat in great shape. Whether it's routine maintenance, a surprise issue, or just a question we're trying to sort out, they take the time to explain things clearly and make sure we're taken care of. We never feel rushed or talked down to -- just supported. Huge thanks to Jeff, Dan, Wendell, and Jenny. Each of them brings something special to the experience: professionalism, warmth, and that rare "we've got you" attitude that makes all the difference. You can tell they take real pride in their work and in the relationships they build with customers. If you're looking for a marine team you can trust for the long haul -- the kind that remembers you, stands behind their work, and treats you like more than a number -- Bayside Marine is it. We're grateful for them and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Calm and relaxed -- he made sure he new what we wanted, telling us the first time we came to see him that the boat we were interested in was not for us. "I'll call you when I get something here that you want," he told us. A month later we drove home with exactly what our family hoped for. When the boat for us showed up Darren answered any questions we had. He speaks with few words and doesn't embellish or pretend to know everything about everything. What I'm saying is that you can tell he's telling the truth. On our test drive we had a small problem that Darren quickly diagnosed with a ballast tank. When we arrived back at the shop he sent us out for lunch while he fixed the problem. With the problem fixed Darren sent us home saying, "You're going to love this boat. Call me if you need anything."

Darren and I shared a few emails and texts, and settled on a price without a bunch of back/forth or games. Before buying from NW Inboards, I shopped at two other dealers who were no where near as straight-forward. At pick up, Darren set the pace according to mine -- however much time I needed was good by Darren. Zac quickly helped me get squared away with the new boat and Paul answered my random mechanical questions. The guys were a great team, professional and super passionate about boating. I learned a bunch from them and I'm 110% happy with the purchase experience. Best of all, my family is thrilled with our new boat from NW Inboards!
