The permits for the HOA and the Orange County came in very fast and they literally scheduled us within two weeks. I was extremely pleased with the crew. They showed up every morning at 6:30 in the morning and they left at 7:30 at night and it took about two weeks. I had a major concern with the open-ended nature of the contract regarding extras, but we were able to work it out in a very nice fashion with compromising respect. After they were finished the Orange County roofing inspector came and borrowed my ladder to go up on the roof and said it's the best roof he's ever seen. I have been through several heavy downpour and so far no leaks so I figure it's good for many years. A couple of things needed to be finished up and they came back and finished everything up with a very professional fashion. I was so pleased. I fed them every day. I would highly recommend this company. Hunter and Jim answered all my questions in a very timely fashion both before during and after which is a big deal to me. We evaluated all bids, and went with EZ Roofing as they use the best quality shingles and the bidder (Grant) seemed very straightforward with us about what was needed (new impact-resistant skylights as well). He also provided guidance (when asked) on a good color for the shingles based on our brick and outside paint color, and he was spot on! The roofers started early each day and did excellent work, finishing the job in a little over 2 days. Our neighbors all commented on how nice the house looks with the new roof and one of the neighbors plans to contact EZ Roofing because of it. I highly recommend them and would hire them again. Its now been three weeks and they won't come back to repair it. Three neighbors also hired them because we were so happy with our roof. Of the three, two had problems. Now we have a problem. Our roof had never leaked until they installed the new metal roof over the original asphalt roof. It leaked at a bath vent, which had never leaked before. When they originally came and looked at the 1 ft by 2 ft brown spot, he said it was "an accident" and acted like it was no big deal. Poor customer service. We just want them to come back and fix their mistake. They said Neil Strickland retired and his son is running the business now. I wonder if Neil Sr ran it like this.

Their installers…read moredid a great job installing the floor planks but their finish work on installing the thresholds and quarter-round molding was terrible. They cracked my baseboards in two places. Cut away some baseboards around one closet and cut them way too short...looks horrible!! Several places where the quarter-round was cut either too short or too long. The baseboards were really banged up when they finally finished....have to re-paint the baseboards. Also, the installers only worked 4 to 5 hours a day......took them 7 days to do 1,000 square feet of LVP. NEVER USE MCALISTER FLOORING AGAIN...........!!!!!!!!!!!
