She is kind and warm and responsive. It was different that the sugar wax was cold but she talked me through it and I am happy I went. I have not had a wax in nearly six months, so I was way over due! She put some Netflix on for me to watch a little numbing spray and talked to me the entire time which was nice and helpful not to think about the very mild discomfort. Overall super nice it felt like I was just catching up with an old friend such a sweet woman! Also her eyebrows were great too! I would for sure recommend her ! Now, I believe in telling the truth. There was a period when Jim sold the place, and things went downhill faster than a shopping cart with a bad wheel. We stuck around for a while, hoping things would improve, but it just wasn't the same. Then Jim bought it back, and suddenly it was like somebody turned the lights back on and remembered how to run a great nail salon. Every two weeks, like clockwork, you'll find us sitting in those chairs getting pampered far beyond what a couple of senior citizens probably deserve. Christine and Lin are absolutely the best. They know exactly how we like our nails done, remember what's going on in our lives, ask about our family, and genuinely care about us. After all these years, we're not customers anymore; we're family members who happen to pay for nail services. The quality of their work is consistently outstanding. We never leave disappointed, and after a decade of visits, that's saying something. Most businesses are thrilled if they can get you back a second time. Sindy Nails has kept us coming back for over ten years because they combine exceptional service with exceptional people. I've always said that anybody can paint nails. The special places are the ones that make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. That's exactly what Christine, Lin, Jim, and the entire team do. Five stars without hesitation. If you're looking for a nail salon in Fredericksburg, stop reading reviews and make an appointment. Trust an old guy who's been around long enough to know the difference between good service and great service. This place is the real deal.

It's always important to go in with an open mind whenever you bring in any inspiration. Even when I showed Mimi tik tok videos and photos, she did her version of it and it's so pretty! One time she tried out a cat-eye ombré and I loved the outcome. We don't really talk much during the service, but I'm honestly not much of a talker when I'm getting my nails done. I just like to relax and watch the work. If you're looking for new nail tech, definitely request Mimi. She's great at what she does and I'm sure you'll like her work just as much as I do.

When greeted, I asked for a pedicure. They took me right back to beautiful pedicure spa chairs. My technician "Trihn" was super kind, and fast. My only suggestion would be to spend a little more time on the manicure itself. I haven't had a pedicure in a year, and know I needed some cuticle clean up. She did very little. She also did an eye brow wax for me. That too was very quick. I wish she would have cleaned up my brows a little more. Additionally it seemed a little expensive, but I know everything is expensive these days. I had a basic spa $46, gel $20 extra, and eyebrow wax $13. They accept card payment, however tip is Venmo, cash, or cash app. Overall it was great, and I will definitely go back.

We looked through all the colors together, and I showed her the design I wanted. She executed it perfectly, and I was honestly so impressed with how they turned out! I've been to other salons where my nails usually start lifting around 4-5 weeks, so I have no idea what Laneva did differently, but whatever it was, it worked! Therefore services were supposedly performed be graduates/professionals. The staff was polite, though I questioned the scheduling of my mani/pedi before my other services. SInce they would need to be very dry to do the facial/hand paraffin and massage. As it turns out the girl who did the mani/pedi did such a bad job it didn't much matter. She filed back and forth like a saw and then got the dark red polish all over my fingers and despite many attempts to clean it up, I still ended up with blotches of polish around my nails.(If I can I'll add a picture). The esthetician wasn't too bad though she had turned on the steam and then tripped over the machine. She ended up not using it at all (I assume she broke it since I stated that my main purpose for the facial was moisturizing.) I also said I used ultra gentle facial products and never alpha hydroxy... so I was surprised that she put alpha hydroxy on my face. When I got to the massage it made some sense since confused me with the friend came with that day, and it turned out they had mixed our charts. The massage room was cold, the music was loud and and the treatment was fast and jerky- not the swedish relaxing massage I had asked for. Going with the Spa at CTS saved us $20 over our second choice. When you're shelling out $175 to $200 plus tips the $20 isn't worth the total lack of quality. However, my gel manicure is a huge disappointment. It took much longer than usual, which I chalked up to my tech paying attention to detail.
