For this visit, I was getting my very long hair cut and highlighted with Tiffanie. She took the time to get an idea of what sort of color I was looking for in my highlights, whether I wanted warm or cool tones, and then what I wanted my cut to look like. I was offered coffee or tea which is always a bonus touch for me. The color turned out perfectly (byeeee grays!). The cut ended up going well beyond the 3 inches I had asked for, but as it was taking shape I kinda stopped worrying about it because the cut itself looked perfect on me. My only critique would be that maybe they could feel out the clientele a little bit before launching into a conversation with a lot of expletives. It didn't personally bother me at all, but I'd never been here before so I'm not sure that would've been known about me until we got talking. I could see how some new person might get easily offended if it wasn't their communication style.

My hair dresser was an owner and she spent every appointment giving directions to other employees and not paying attention to what she was doing for me. They charge $10.00 extra if you want your hair washed and the price of the cut to begin with was outrageous. I switched to another salon with two locations one in Pittsford and the other in Webster. The price was cheaper, they wash hair and the hairdresser pays attention and I finally have the basic haircut I want. They do a great job and I highly recommend it

My hair is incredibly important to me, so I spare no expense.  When I moved here I started going here, and have gone here since.  Robin is great.  She cuts my hair how I want it, does highlights how I want them, and doesn't try to talk me into doing things that I don't want to do.  I am naturally blonde and not very adventurous, so what I want is pretty basic.  I've had it long and short over the years, and done highlights and low lights.  It's been exactly what I wanted every time.  I also had my hair done here for my Senior ball and my wedding.  All of my bridesmaids came here, and all of their hair looked gorgeous!  One of my bridesmaids had really short neck length hair, and I didn't think it would even go up.  They got it in an up do, and it looked great and stayed perfect all day!  Thuy did my hair for my prom and my wedding.  My up do lasted all night, after taking my veil off, and I actually wore it on the plane the next day on my honeymoon!  Looked perfect the whole time. :) I highly recommend it here!

Ina answered promptly and the service was efficient. I'd like to add that the shop was Covid safe and Ina was adamant that people who came in respected that. She also took the extra step of making sure that the shop didn't become too crowded. Moreover, my braider (Ina's sister Uma) was very good about helping me protect my scalp from too tight braiding. She was sensitive to my requests and never once complained. I loved her energy. Ina is firm, and after a day in her shop, I can see why. People tend to rudely haggle her over her pricing and she really does not deserve that. I was astounded by how many people came in and tried to convince Ina to let them pay her less than the quoted prices. She and Uma are great at what they do and people need to expect to pay for quality. You'd never walk into Nordstrom or Bloomingdales and ask for a discount. You get what you pay for. I'm very happy with what I paid for and I highly recommend Ina Magic.
