Best coffee in town! Great coffee shop with great service. The interior is cozy with a fireplace and even a larger table for a bigger group or meeting. Having visited here countless times over the years I can say that service and product are both very consistent. I came to Cutters Point to do some studying today. The decor is nice, vaguely pacific northwest, but not overly so. Plenty of tables and free wifi are nice. The place presents well and is well laid out. First, the coffee... hit or miss. I've gotten their coffee a few times at the drive through as well as sitting down. Today it was OK. Most of the time it is way over roasted and I'd call it Charcoal Roast, just like Starbucks. The kind of over-roasted acrid stuff that has completely burned any nuance and character out of the coffee. Second, the food. I'm a bit of a breakfast food fanatic, I'd eat breakfast every meal of the day if I could get away with it. I asked the staff about a breakfast sandwich. Rather than telling me what they had she said "They're super yummy and in the case over there." First, the "super yummy" thing turned me off, I'm 33, not three, talk to me like an adult. Second, it would have been too much damn trouble for you to tell me what you have than make me go hunt through your refrigerator case? Third, they come in plastic containers like you'd find for cream cheese at a bagel place, but it is opaque and you can't see the sandwich. I went by the label (stupid me) and got the sausage omelet sandwich. And guess whet there was no sausage in it. Fourth, After sitting at my table for ten minutes, patiently listening for my sandwich I went up and asked when it would be ready and "Super Yummy" Girl got an "oh shit" look on her face and told me it would be ready soon. It had been sitting in their panini press so long that it had started to get cold. Finally, the price. The damn sandwich cost $4.25, I almost didn't get it but thought it might be almost worth the price... nope, should have just put it back. Little bit of scrambled egg, a slice of Parmesan, and an english muffin... nothing special here Third, the staff. A very perky and friendly bunch on every visit I have had, noticeably all young attractive girls. However, between hearing "Super Yummy" and forgetting my food... well they are not THAT good looking. I'd rather go to big bad Starbucks. They may be corporate, and their coffee sucks, but at least they have a decent sausage sandwich, which actually has the sausage in it, and I don't have to hear "Super Yummy" ever again. read more

Had a coffee here while walking from Best Buy to Home Depot, and lucky me, the computers were down, so my coffee was free. We did find enough change to tip the barista, but it was nice of them to make the coffee for nothing. The fireplace extends to the outside to heat a small seating area that is between a parking lot and the drive-thru. read more

Love their caramel macchiato! They give military discounts and have doggie treats at their drive-thru. Pricing is a bit cheaper than starbucks. I've also had their egg pesto sandwich which is pretty yummy. read more

It's my second time back at Cutter's point for a coffee drink since almost ten years ago and I forgot how deliciously these frappes are executed! I will deff return and skip out on the Starbucks from now on but I don't have anything bad about Starbucks either, just Dutch bros are disgusting :) u must try the real brown sugar latte ice blended here at CP! read more

My wife and I have been CP Coffee fans for years. We were so happy to find a coffee that we could brew at home that didn't turn acidic after 20 minutes in the pot (like SBucks). The price point on their coffee is fair and the store is always clean. We spend on average of $20 a week with CP The only constructive feedback I will say is: Why is it that the staff at the Hawks Prairie (unlike the location on Pacific) are so, so rude. Almost every time we go in, they just rude. Yesterday my wife went inside to order a cold coffee and the girl that made her drink, slid it onto the serving bar with a huge attitude and ignored her "thank you" spun around and stomped off. This place needs a overhaul and an attitude adjustment. We will be not be back to this location. read more

i love to get my smoothies at the cutters point! they make such great smoothies, such as marion berry, blueberry pomegranate, wild berry. every one of those are fantastic! but their coffee? i have to be honest. i'm not so sure, i think it's pretty decent though. i would only give 3 stars for coffee. although coffee isn't that great they do greet you warmly and give you smile. but seems like they don't hire any male workers. i don't know why. read more

The Facilities look nice, however it took me nearly 20 mins to order through the drive through, then when I did order a Large coffee they charged me a whopping $6.30 for a single coffee. I have never heard of a place (Even Starbucks) that would charge you 6.30 for a 20oz cup of coffee (Not espresso) They loose my business for life because they weren't up front about there extensive charges and didn't list it on the sign when ordering. The price is outrageous but over all the coffee tasted good. read more

I love, love, love the service and coffee at this cutters point. This is my favorite location and everyone is always so friendly and the coffee is delicious. I get an 20 oz iced soy vanilla chai and I ask for it in a bigger cup with lots of ice (so it will be cold and not warm in 10 mins from the ice melting) and they are always accommodating and kind. The chai is absolutely delicious! The husband loves the salted caramel frap and loves it, it does have a strong coffee taste but it's so good. The muffins are delicious and giant. read more

Update: Coffee here is still hit or miss. Most frequently my lattes are consistent, but sometimes the espresso tastes a little burnt. They are still incredibly sweet, so I guess the benefit is that the burnt taste is covered? I really enjoy the pastry selection here when I have a sweet tooth. Coffee at the stand across the street (Mocha Magic) is usually a dollar less and same/higher quality, so I split my business. Overall, there just aren't many great coffee places in Lacey and this is the best of the bunch--so I'm updating my rating. Also, they've diversified their staff a bit and the ladies are pretty welcoming and friendly. So I guess I've been won over! read more

Why??? Why do all 4 people need to wear headsets??? The person at the register was distracted taking our order because of it. The person making the drinks took forever to make them because of it. I've been to Cutter Point a handful of times and was not disappointed. It is conveniently located near several strip malls, Home Depot, Costco, and Best Buy. The baristas have always been friendly. I don't like their coffee as much as Starbucks, but it isn't bad. I've only used the drive through, so I'm not sure what the inside of the establishment has to offer. read more

I'm a barista of 17 years+cafe manager+trainer. The one star here is for ingredient flavor potential. I say that because my drink tasted like it could be good if it was actually made properly. I ordered an iced dark chocolate mocha with light ice and I was given a cup of milk with a 1/2" thick pile of chocolate powder at the bottom. The lid was speckled with powder so they at least attempted to mix it (while it was cold, which does absolutely nothing). Also they gave me two cocktail straws? WTF? What is wrong with coffee shops who think two unusable thin straws are a good idea? I just want one regular straw, so I can drink my coffee. Instead, I drove home chewing my coffee until I couldn't get the contents out due to chocolate sludge and had to spoon it out when I got home. I have no idea what their dark chocolate mocha is supposed to taste like, because all the chocolate was at the bottom. I swirled it around as I drove home and it did not make a difference. Of course not, because you're supposed to melt the chocolate powder with the hot espresso first before adding milk and ice. Oh, and light ice to them apparently means "fill the cup up with ice." I get light ice because I prefer my drinks on the warmer side. Also, the barista popped in the window to take my cash and left and never came back. My drink sat in the window for minutes before another barista noticed and handed it out. I don't know if this is "the Cutter's Point" experience or not but I'm not going back, and am sticking with Coffee Caboose by my house in Yelm and when I go out I now know I can't get good coffee anywhere, so I'm just not going to buy it. It's too risky trying new places. I paid about $6 for this drink and tipped $3. Was it worth $9? No way. I tipped before I got my drink, and nobody was at the window when I took a sip, so... yeah. I'm absolutely shocked at how horrible this coffee was. I had a latte, like how impossible is it for a barista to make a foul-tasting latte?? Not here, apparently. My husband got the cold brew in a bottle, and it was bad, too, so maybe the barista shouldn't be blamed for my undrinkable latte. I literally threw away a $6 coffee because it was so nasty. And I've been sick in the gut from the 4 sips of it I took, trying to give it a chance. We had a club meeting there, and the only person who drank all of their drink was the kid who got a can of sprite. A topic of conversation for a good 10 minutes among the 15 of us who bought coffee was how horrible it was. The cheddar bagel my kid got was good on a positive note, so our $22 tab (with tip) bought us a good bagel. Definitely stay away from here. Find yourself a good mom and pop coffee stand or the always reliable starbucks, but this joint is utterly disgusting. read more

Next time you guys want to lie about "the powder just not being mixed" maybe you should check the expiration date on your milk and cream before you serve people coffee. Ordered a few drinks that costed us around 16 dollars and when the bottom of them (all iced) had HUMONGOUS milk curds we asked for them to be fixed and the snotty blonde barista at the window just kept insisting that it was the "powder chai mix". Too bad I didn't tell her that we use the same exact vanilla big train chai powder at my coffee shop where I'm a barista as well, and it's a DARK BROWN POWDER not a clumpy white one. And our other two drinks had the same thing and she didn't re make them for us. I've gone to cutters point on Ruddle road and the girls there are always nice and would never try to argue with a customer I'm sure. I'm also sure it could have been a manager we were talking to so I'm posting this as a warning to others. The cutters around town are much better, and I'm not going to be back at this location ever again. Sad thing is we tipped before they were messed up. Had she been more apologetic about the situation (because stuff happens and we get it) we night have left happy but instead we left with spoiled drinks and super unhappy. read more
