I gave Cuties a chance during its opening weekend and thought it wasn't for me. It was too crowded, obnoxiously loud, and I just felt like I didn't fit in. Fast-forward to now: I was walking around with a friend and we felt like having a drink, and Cuties was right nearby. I decided to give it another shot, and I'm glad I did because my experience was incredibly better. First of all, the place felt a lot more welcoming and less overwhelming. I finally had a chance to look at all the decor and details, and my eyes were FEASTING on the colorful touches and funky vibes. Our server was very nice, and even though we only ordered one drink and definitely stayed there for a good amount of time, he wasn't pushy in any way. My cocktail, the Wink n Nod, was soooo good. It had vodka, gin, manzanilla, olives, and pickled Fresno brine. The result was a yummy concoction with a punch, one that I could savor and not slurp in ten seconds. That said, I gotta say I was surprised by how busy the place was given how early we went. It wasn't even 4pm. I don't think I would come back in the summer or during peak hours because I could definitely see them getting busy, just like during their opening weekend, and having an entirely different experience. Note: Although I didn't try any, I was happily impressed by the food options and non-alcoholic options. A true all-day bar!

Awesome place to grab a drink anytime do the day and a snack. Super cool vibes and great staff. Very welcoming and friendly. All employees were attentive and helpful. Menu has tons to offer. There's coffee drinks, alcoholic beverages, various snacks and food, etc. Lots of talent and thought has gone into what they offer. We order a Bitchin Michelada and a spicy bloody! Both amazing!! Well done. For sure stop in this gem of a place regardless of the time of day as they have lots to offer.

Stylish all-day eatery/drinkery with high tops along the bar and oppposite along the windows, plus lower, cozier seating in funky furniture further back. Bright, hip decor will put you in a good mood. Only a few beers available, with wider selection in the craft cocktail realm. -- All-Day Burger: This is basically an elevated Big Mac, minus the middle bun layer: twin smashed patties, burger sauce, shredded lettuce, American cheese, pickles, and onions, on a densely-sesame-seeded Big Marty bun. The smashing gets the patties extra thin, so there's crusting, flavor from the griddle (plus good seasoning), and not so much volume that it'll stuff you. A well balanced creation that keeps the flavor coming. -- Crispy Potatoes: Deep-fried mini potatoes, some whole, some cracked, some cut, all with crispness and seasoning. A no-brainer add-on for $4. I think there are better burgers to be had nearby, and with better beer selection, but what I had was solid and the vibe of this place was certainly enjoyable enough to come back every now and then. Nice lunch; friendly staff.

Cuties is my new favorite breakfast/brunch spot in town. The McGriddle was just the right amount of junky to be delicious, nothing fancy, just good grub. And the chai was spectacular and BIG. The decor is so fun and funky, and made the place feel like a bright spot on a cold and snowy day. Staff is friendly and let us just chill and read our books while we digested, and the playlist is groovy as hell. Love cuties!

This is the trendiest new craft cocktail spot in Portland. I think the tourists and the Influencer crowd will love it; as a local... I'm not rushing to come back here soon. I got to check it out, it was cool, but it wasn't so revolutionary or so special that I absolutely NEED to bring everyone I know here. At least not now. I'd be interested in revisiting in winter when they've been open for a while and it's quieter in the city. Love the space; the decor is very modern and the vibe is very welcoming. There are lots of interesting seating options: stool seating all along the floor to ceiling windows for people watching, some stool seating at the bar, some couch seating in the corners of the room, some workspace-style stand-up seating for you to WFH from, and more. It feels set-up so you're almost forced to interact with the people around you; not necessarily a bad thing, but when it's busy, expect to make friends. Two drinks, two snacks, after tax and tip it was close to $75. We got the All Day Spritz (aperol, strawberry, cucumber, "double friggin' bubbles") and the Our Best Bloody (vodka or tequila, the usual suspects). Loved the excess of cucumber slices in my spritz (that felt cheeky), but the drink itself was mostly ice. My friend's bloody was VERY strong, I don't think she even finished it. She liked her Tuna Tostada; the Butterbean Dip (which is vegan! A pot of creamed butterbeans and a side of homemade [?] saltines) was good, but the toppings (the castelvetrano olive and fresno peppers) did all the heavy lifting. The dishes were taken away from us before we were finished them without being asked if we were done; that felt a little weird to me (and, no, they weren't busy when we came). The bartender was the highlight of the experience. So friendly, so engaging, so quick-witted, so real. They double-checked ingredients for us; they made suggestions and told us why those were their suggestions. Cheers to the staff!

Such a fun atmosphere! It's open all day so during our time in Portland we went for breakfast and afternoon drinks. The place is decorated gorgeously - super funky and colorful. Servers were always welcoming and friendly.

Came here on recommendation from a coworker and the drink were good not a place I would come back personally. The vibe was cute bartenders were nice once noticed you. We came during day so maybe different vibe. But we came went.

Delightful and even cuter than you'd expect! I loved the bright colors of the interior, the bartenders I was served by, and the menu! Mimosas with pet nat & fresh squeezed orange were simple, but so good. Loved the food offerings and it was the perfect starting point for my birthday celebration. I wish there was a Cuties at home, but I'll visit on my next vacation!

Such a cute spot. The name totally fits the vibe. It was recommended that we visit cuties by a few people, so we decided to stroll over for a mid-day cocktail. We sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender on recommendations and each of them were very personable and accommodating. We ended up with an expresso martini, which is not vodka based and another drink with prosecco. Both were tasty but honestly I'd come back just for the vibe. Very chilled and easy. Thanks cut

Sister bar to room for improvement. Same formula, drinks and a bit of bar food. Service fast and on point Better come at 5 pm sharp because I came at 5.30 pm and the place jam packet (ex petite Jacqueline place). I ordered boat doctor and danger margarita. The boat doctor's ginger slightly a bit over, can't taste some of the ingredient. But ginger is always like that, a little come a long way. Good place to hang out with friends with good drinks.

Already the new "It" bar in Portland just days after opening, Cuties lives up to the hype. It's quite literally the light to sister bar's Room For Improvement's darkness. The space is mostly bar (with 16 seats), and nearly as many counter stools, providing possibly the best people watching in the city through the floor to ceiling windows. Vintage, bright yellow furniture for larger parties encompasses the rear of the bar. The full house (half hour after opening) was all ages, but heavily leans towards the trendy crowd. Sigh, it stinks getting old! The cocktails are all creative spins on classics, similar to Room for Improvement, but lean sweeter. I slightly prefer the drinks at Room and hope they add some less sweet options in the "Boozy" section of the menu, but these are some of the best downtown. The espresso martini ($15, or $7 mini) might be better than the famous rendition at Room, and the mini frozen margarita ($5) is a must-order. Those fish-shaped creations you're seeing all over Instagram? It's the Oaxaca-Yaki ($10), basically slightly spicy mozzarella sticks, and it's fantastic. The Coconut Shrimp Toast ($12) might somehow be better, even if you don't love shrimp. Only the Popcorn Shrimp ($12) was too salty and I wouldn't order again. Cuties is going to be a massive hit in the Old Port, especially when they're open all day. It's a much brighter, airy, and (I think) better atmosphere than Room For Improvement, which is really saying something. I can't wait to return.

What a great surprise to stumble into! The service was excellent everyone was so friendly, attentive, and quick. The space itself was spotless and had a really nice vibe, with plenty of seating options depending on what kind of hangout you're after. I especially loved the specialty cocktails creative, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. Definitely a spot I love.

With the back of the store having goodies to buy including candles, self-care items, wines, drinks, and more. Worth browsing before or after your drinks and food. We snagged two bar stools and were immediately greeted and served water along with a menu. All three staff members were friendly and made us feel welcome. Drink wise my wife got an iced mocha while I saw their drink special of the month on social media and had to try it. Named The Blue Rose with Butterfly pea flower, cardamom rose, whole milk, pebble ice and espresso on top. A photo-worthy beverage with a delicious flavor. Food wise my wife and I both got a breakfast sandwich, only difference she got bacon while I got the impossible sausage. Well made and delicious sandwiches that would make us return as well. She is a book lover and we both love our coffees and cocktails. This is a spot that offers all of that and is a third space I think that has been popular and will in general be missed. We even visited during their opening day back in December 2023. They will be closing their doors on April 17th 2026. I will say that due to them getting their books from a local used bookstore they do not have the latest and greatest selection of books that you'd expect if they were a bookstore. I have not had complaints during any of our visits here. I have enjoyed their coffee as well as their chai lattes along with enjoyed all the cocktails I have tried. I have especially enjoyed the espresso martinis and have liked the fact you could in fact get the coffee drinks and cocktails any time of their hours opened. During the majority of their time open they would offer specialty espresso martinis as well. Some of my favorite cities to visit have many coffee cafe meets cocktail bar and is a concept I wish were more popular in Portland. It is a difficult time currently for all and any local business so with yet another closing I encourage you to support your favorite places when and how you can! The minute I walked in, I was surprised by how big the space was. But heads up, it's already a popular spot. I assumed a Monday visit would mean a quiet, empty cafe, but nope. Every table, couch, and chaise was taken, so I grabbed a seat at the bar. Not a problem, but if you're expecting a hidden gem, this isn't that. The ambiance was cool, hip, and laid-back. It's the kind of place where being solo feels encouraged. The only group chatting while I was there was practically whispering, so if you're looking for a catch-up spot with friends, this probably isn't it. But if you're in town alone and want a good drink and some quiet time, then it's the perfect spot. I ordered The Raven, and it was a delicious and balanced drink, just pricier than expected at $14 (though that's sadly the new norm in Portland). I also got a Negroni, which I just asked for offhand, and surprisingly, it was great and cheaper than my cocktail. Wish I'd known that was an option first. Overall, a fantastic addition to Portland and one I'll absolutely be back to.
