What a cute little cocktail bar with some food as well. I love the decorations inside. It's so cozy and beautiful. Not many tables or a big bar but part of the charm of it. They outside have some outside seating. They have so many fun and amazing cocktails. We got a couple apps as well. The devil eggs were really great. I'll be back to sit outside and try a different drink!

Decided to stop by here for a quick drink before our dinner reservation, and I'm glad we did! It's a super cute little bar with cozy seating and small plates. I loved the interior design--such a nice atmosphere to hang out in. I went with the deviled eggs and a Shackbury cider, and both were delicious. If you're ever in the area, definitely check this spot out!

I'm obsessed! Finally checked out Low Key, and I can already tell it's going to be one of my favorite cocktail spots in town. The vibe is exactly as advertised -- super laid-back, but the cocktails are anything but low-key. They're fantastic! We tried two of their signature cocktails, and both were impressive. What I really appreciated was the size -- not tiny at all, so I could enjoy my drink and chat without feeling like I needed to order three more just to keep up. The ambiance inside is perfect -- dimly lit with chill background music that sets a speakeasy vibe. It's such a great spot for a pre- or post-dinner drink. Plus, the service was spot on -- the bartender/waitress checked on us multiple times throughout the night. I can't wait to go back!

Sister bar to Jing Yan Tavern across the street and the new addition to Munjoy Hill. No need to explain too much since Jing Yan's drink programs super solid and that's what Low Key exactly is. There's nothing low key about the quality of the drinks here. Excellent ! Small intimate place, come early since it's first serve first come basis. Service is very quick even though there's only 1 bartender made the drink. They have quite some apps/snacks/sandwiches to order. I ordered the Reuben panini with side cucumber salad that's very refreshing. Super delicious, generous with the portion and very good corned beef. For drinks I ordered 2 different drinks : the pick-me-up and low key from their signature cocktails. Completely polar opposite to each other. Pick-me-up is mezcal base, citrusy and refreshing while low key base is rum with milk, blueberry purse that taste deserty. Couldn't be more happier

Went to this new spot for a couple drinks and loved it! The outside of the building is very welcoming and has a great look to it. And the inside is perfect for some intimate and relaxing drinks. It's a little dark but that added to it. And the service was great and fast. Everyone there is very nice! The drinks were also very tasty. The selection is limited on their menu but that didn't matter. We got the low key and the espresso martini. Both of the flavors worked very well and I would love to go back to try out some of their other cocktails. I recommend coming here to have a relaxing evening or date. Low key is a perfect name for this place. Definitely give it a try

We stopped here for late night drinks on a weekend trip recently. This cozy little spot was a perfect stop. Service was prompt and very helpful. We got the espresso martini and one of the mocktails, both drinks were delicious.

Fantastic new spot on the east side of town for some tasty and unique cocktails in a cozy space with friendly service

This place is such a vibe. Amazing creative drinks that actually taste good and are moderately priced AND soft serve ice cream. Music choice was on point. Love it here!

It's a very casual spot, so it's an excellent spot for a midday treat. The oyster list is very extensive, and it's hard to pick. But the staff are able to make excellent recommendations. When in doubt, just ask! They brought us 3 different species that were excellent. 5/5. The brown butter lobster roll was the star of the show. The only issue I had with it was that the actual roll (not the lobster) seemed a little undercooked. So it was a bit gooey. But not too gooey that the dish wasn't enjoyable. I wish it was a little bigger given the price as compared to other local lobster rolls. Still was delicious. A solid 4/5.

We sat at the bar and got to see all the action and it was quite a performance to watch all the oysters getting shucked. Now, my better half and I are not the biggest oyster fans but we really enjoyed them. The sauces (horseradish ice and red onion ice in particular) really amplified the flavor of the various oysters and really helped make it a great experience. We got there pretty early but still had a bit of a wait but I'd say it was worth it. We also had a lobster roll which was different from what you're used to but it was good. The team working there was on top of things and I imagine during high season this place must be absolutely nuts. Definitely worth a visit.

We are so lucky to walk up at 8 pm and get a table. Not any table, but next to the kitchen. It was so awesome to sit there and watch their masterpieces come to life. The amount of pans and flames on the fire was pretty cool. We waited a bit for our waiter, but once he arrived he was attentive and did well. Bread service was delicious. Butter cokes our very cold, we used the candle to warm it. They wait staff got a chuckle out of that and said rush cooks give us melted butter. Ha ha We ordered the grilled octopus as an appetizer. Deliciously prepared and cooked. Mmmm. I ordered the special--Tuna Ragu My husband sword fish Swordfish was a little over cooked but the flavor was very good. Fish. Delicious. Now let's talk about the tuna Ragu. It was the most delicious strange thing I've had yet on this trip. My Brain was like... why is there fish in this pasta and my tastebuds are like who the heck cares this amazing. The homemade pasta was delicate and fluffy yet cooked al dente and soaked up all the sauce/gravy. The tuna had a slight fish taste, but it was fresh- perfect and not over whelming. There had to be a spicy sausage hidden in there because every other bite was bursting with a spicy hint. Absolute perfection! They tried to give us the dessert menu, but we were so full. If you can get in on a walk in night. Definitely do it!

It's likely we just showed up during an off day/time but left more disappointed than excited. Booked a reservation for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary of when we started dating and they did include a card thanking us for choosing to celebrate it with them. Was a nice little touch. Inside has a rustic feeling vibe and the low ceilings does make it quite loud. Our server eventually greeted us and took our drink orders. I had a spicy tequila cocktail called Kissies and Poppies while my wife had a gin based cocktail called Secret Garden. Both were decent but nothing special enough to rush back for. Appetizer wise the only one on their menu during our visit was freshly sliced prosciutto which was tasty but did not stand out anymore than your typical grocery store prosciutto. For the main event and the purpose of checking them out my wife got the Shrimp Linguine in Butter and Garlic. I gave their Grilled Lobster Linguine in Butter and Garlic a try. Both dishes had great flavor and they did not skimp on garlic! Lobster does come in shell and our server did warn us. Despite the good taste the slow service really left a sour taste in our mouths. Our reservation was for 9:30 PM (showed up a bit early) and didn't receive food til almost 10:30 or after and we ordered relatively quick. Our server did come over once during our wait saying it would be soon. Though once we got our food the server didn't check on us again til we finished. Maybe it was due to being part of the last meals being served. Not a great excuse but who knows, extremely lackluster service for a higher end spot that should make you feel welcome! We did skip out on dessert to avoid more waiting. Im glad so many people enjoy this spot, but if my wife and I are feeling a nicer dinner we will go elsewhere!

We started with the fish chowder since they didn't have clam chowder. This was probably the only dish that felt average to me, although my husband really enjoyed it. The prices were also surprisingly reasonable compared to a lot of other places serving similar seafood. For our entrees, we both went with the hot butter lobster roll. It was classic, simple, and exactly what I expected a good lobster roll to taste like. For the price, I definitely think it was worth it. The restaurant has a casual, laid back ambiance, which fits perfectly with the no frills seafood experience. It's a great spot if you're looking for something relaxed rather than fancy. Once you are seated, you're handed a paper menu on which you mark your selections, then bring that marked-up menu to the counter, where you order and get a number. Food is brought up to you, and you can order subsequent rounds of food by crossing out previous orders and marking up the menu anew. I would highly recommend multiple rounds of oysters -- the first to try one of each and figure out which varieties you prefer, the second to get more of the ones you like, and the last to go all in on your favorite. They've got a varied selection that will suit various tastes, whether you favor a large creamy oyster, a small briny guy, or somewhere in between. All from Maine, which made me feel better about having oysters in a non-ber month. The oysters here are top notch, and the shuckers are, too. Not a single speck of shell in there! I love oysters, and this was my paradise. The non oyster items are also worth trying, so if you have a friend who isn't into oysters, there's something here for them, too. The smoked fish dip and french onion dip are awesome, and the chips they get from another local producer are fantastic. Whether you're a beer lover, a wine person, or a cocktailer, they've got something for you here. Any of those could be the perfect company for your favorite oyster, or you could go for their cucumber mint lemonade slushy, which is insanely refreshing and a great palate cleanser between oysters. Service is efficient, welcoming, and friendly. I think anyone from an oyster novice to an aficionado would feel right at home here. If I didn't live on the opposite side of the country, I'd be here all the time. Unfortunately for me, I'm relegated to pining for these oysters from a distance.
