Before my appointment, the stylist had told me that she would perform a color swatch on my hair to assess whether my desired color could be achieved. However, the color swatch was not performed. The stylist assured me that she felt confident she could achieve the color, while explaining that she would stop the service if my hair showed any signs of damage. The stylist recommended a partial balayage, and I scheduled an appointment with her. When scheduling, I asked about availability, and she told me rather bluntly that she "did not work Saturdays." While her tone wasn't the nicest, I understand not working Saturdays. After reflecting on the overall experience, and deciding that Saturdays are the most convenient day for me, I later contacted another stylist at the same salon who appeared capable of achieving my desired color. After consulting with the original stylist, the second stylist indicated that she could perform the service, and said she was "excited for the appointment." When I contacted the front desk about scheduling with the second stylist, the receptionist told me that my original stylist would actually be working that Saturday. This was frustrating, as I had specifically been told by the original stylist that she did not work Saturdays. I proceeded to schedule with the second stylist, who was planning to do a partial highlights rather than a balayage (what I typically have done). The difference in service and price was not my concern; my priority was finding someone who could achieve my desired color. I subsequently received an email from the salon canceling my appointment because they did not feel they were the best fit for my hair goals. I responded to that email but never received a reply. I understand that a salon may ultimately decide that a client's goals are not the right fit for its services. However, the initial assurances about achieving my desired color, the failure to perform the promised color swatch, the conflicting information about Saturday availability, and the lack of communication after my appointment was canceled made the overall experience frustrating and disappointing. I would have appreciated greater transparency and more professional communication throughout the process.

This last time i went i was way more grown out from the last time i came in, i waited 8-9 weeks and my hair grows very fast, like 2 inches in 9 weeks fast. Like the first time, someone had to help her with getting me washed up for the hair cut, both ladys were nice but it felt weird that i was on time (early infact) where as she was still putting color in another lady's hair when the hand me in the chair and i was finished with the wash. That may be industry standard to some but i wasnt a fan of that. Then when she came to cut my hair, i told her what i wanted and somewhat delivered? The hair cut is uneven, some parts didnt get cut or shaved off (i have shaved sides) and i weirdly long part of my bangs that should've been addressed in the appointment but i didnt notice all the parts that needed to be done till i got home when i was able to get a really good look. I had to even shave off a chunck of hair by my left temple because it looked off with it there and was not shaved down properly. Overall i enjoyed the experience of going there and the way everyone is friendly but not the result i was hoping for honestly. I will be going back to my other stylist for my next hair cut so she can fix the uneven hair cut and I'm thankful she is available again. I recommend them overall but definitely make sure you like your haircut before you leave or you might end up uneven depending on the stylist.

I've gone through stages where I've had pink and black hair, auburn hair, white blonde, etc. I've had my hair dark brown for the past two years now and decided I wanted to go back to my natural hair color (dirty blonde). I was a little hesitant for the change since I once went back to my natural color from red hair within one session and my hair was completely fried and took two months to finally feel manageable. Crystal took care of me when I went in back in December and I told her what I was wanting to do and she told me immediately that one session was not going to cut it since my hair would be damaged. I expected as much and was really grateful that she was up front about that instead of trying to do it all in one session. She was really nice to me and made me feel comfortable despite being hungover and barely able to function. I had a wedding to attend the day of getting my hair done and everyone complimented it. So while my hair wasn't entirely blonde, it was still beautiful and lightened enough for people to notice. That horrendous haircut was the first that I had gotten in the San Antonio area since we moved down here last year. I thought I could just live with it, but I like to go six months between haircuts and there was no way I was going let myself continue to look like I did for 4.5 more months. The salon is located in a tranquil area just off the beaten path but close to 35. The decor is modern and it's very clean. The vibe inside the salon is also very peaceful. Paul was very professional, listened to my complaints, offered good feedback, and gave me the face framing angles I was looking for. Then, he gave me a nice style so I could go home with an extra special look that my husband wouldn't be able to miss. The color I got from the other salon was (is) also a mess, and Paul offered his opinions about my next steps. I believe I will return soon to get my color corrected. I have to also add that when I got home from the salon, my husband commented on how amazing my hair looked perhaps three times in the first hour.
