Easy to connect with and extremely meticulous while cleaning up! The yard is extremely well kept and the clean up detail was brought up by my Dad who isn't the easiest to impress, these guys went up and over leaving basically no trace which was wonderful after the job they did. They trimmed and thinned out our trees both front and back. Price was excellent along with the team being respectful and thoughtful exceeded our expectations! read more

I hired this business for 3 different jobs removing 5 trees total and their stumps over the last few years. Luis said after each job to contact him if I found any remaining stump or large roots. At my request during one job, he even consulted with a bee guy who came and safely removed the bees since they had moved into my dead tree, which I so appreciated. Well, I've currently (6/8) been trying (since 3/22) to get him to come out to finish getting out a large stump I found just a few inches under the surface of where a 50+ yr old liquid amber was. Luis texted he'd come 3/27, but he never did. I've tried several times (4/6, 5/105/18, 6/4, ) to contact him, and either the voicemail is full or he ignores the texts. He finally returned my call from a few days ago and said he'd be out that day. Only to later text that he wasn't coming, but he'd come the next day. He came Saturday and trimmed MY NEIGHBOR'S TREE and didn't touch the stump. Why didn't I say anything then, you ask? Well, he didn't bother to talk to me, but he talked to the "concrete guys" I had hired to do work in my front yard. I know, it's pretty unbelievable, right?! I sent him a video of the stump still there and told him "those concrete guys" have no say over my property. He said he'd come 6/7. Thank goodness I didn't hold my breath because he didn't show up, he didn't call, he once again ignored my text to inquire when he was coming. Sadly, I suppose since he knows he's removed ALL of my trees now, he's not getting any more money from me so I am no longer a priority. It's very disappointing, because I used to recommend him. Not now, since I will have to pay money to try to rectify this situation to hold him and his business accountable. I am currently getting quotes to get the stump out I already paid Cut-a-Tree to take out, so I can take them to court. A disappointing and expensive ending to what should have been an easy fix. See my pics I just took. I didn't realize how big the stump left was until taking these. Please learn a lesson from me and CHECK the stump removal BEFORE they leave and BEFORE they cover the area up with the mulch from the bark! Look at this, this is over a 16 square foot area! I didn't uncover the area until spring when I was attempting to prepare my yard for planting. This was months after the job, and look at the crap job they did :( I haven't even uncovered the entire stump. **update: my 6/7 review was taken off Cut-a-Tree's facebook page 6/8. He has not contacted me to make this right.** read more

Do not use! Hired to top or to bring tree down. Owner of cut a tree and my husband discussed that they were taking to much off the top midway through the job. After the owner and my husband left , the pruner and ground crew laughed. Pruner didn't heed his boss or our instruction. Hence, our shade garden is destroyed and patio unusable. We have incurred several hundred dollars trying to save our shade garden. read more

I had an appointment yesterday at 10 o'clock with this company. No one showed up or bothered to call.

Luis and his crew came up to our mountain home after I was unable to find anyone reasonable locally. They spent 2 days cutting trees, raking for fire clean-up and grinding many stumps with an industrial-sized grinder (not just surface grinding with a walk-behind). Great service and attitude. Showed up when scheduled. Very professional and did I mention NICE. He wouldn't even accept a progress payment after completing the first day despite having 10 guys working. The least we could do is to buy everyone lunch both days. I will be referring Cut-A-Tree to everyone on the mountain who need honest hard work at a fair price. Can't recommend them enough. read more

I've used Cut-A-Tree for big 80' pine trees to finessing my crape myrtles and lemon tree. They are nice, they a pretty clean, they know how best to trim every tree. My Chinese Pistache looks so much better and I thought it was fine before, but they explain why it needs trimming, and what the weak spots of the tree are. This prevents limbs from breaking off. Did I mention that they are NICE and easy to work with? They know trees! read more
