They don't even deserve 1 star. The aggravation I have gone through since Citibank sent the transition packet to Imprint has been a nightmare! Citibank sent me a bill May 2nd. I immediately paid it in full to Citibank. Then Imprint bought the shell oil account somewhere around the 14th-18th of May. They started sending me emails saying i owed them for May 26th. This is the one I scheduled with Citibank. I called Citibank and they said that the payment, which they confirmed, along with other stuff was in the process of being transitioned to Imprint and that they would get the payment, but it could take up to 4 weeks. I told them that would make me late and I don't want to pay a late fee. They told me that they should not charge me a late fee or interest on it. Yet I continued to receive bills. I called Imprint numerous times only to be on hold for over an hour each time till the phone would disconnect. I used up my minutes calling these people. Finally i was able to leave my number for a call back. Gerald called me from Imprint and I explained it all to him. He seemed at a loss but finally asked if I had a confirmation email from Citibank showing it had been paid. Yes i did! He asked me to send it to their general email and they could trace the payment that way. I did as instructed and ignored the everyday onslaught of emails from imprint.
My next email that caught my attention was after the due date where they nicely said they have waived my late fee this time and I still owed the money. At that point I called Citibank again as nothing had shown up in my bank account showing it had been paid. I explained to the woman I spoke with, Revi, all that had happened. She apologized and said that she was sure imprint had all the stuff as they couldn't even pull up shell oil accounts anymore. I was wanting to stop payment on the one to Citibank and I would just rewrite the one to imprint but this was no longer a possibility. I once again tried getting in touch with Imprint. Over 1 hour holds and disconnects. I tried their website on multiple occasions and couldn't get in. Once it took me to a different page and wanted to make a copy of my driver's license to proceed. I have never had any company do that. I can not access the website at all. Called imprint again. Had to do the call me back routine and another man called me back and he told me just to go ahead and make a new payment on the account. He said I could let my bank know to stop payment on the other one that I made at citibank. So, they have my payment in the transition package, but yet I have to pay $40 to do a stop payment? I'm live on social security. Money is tight and I balance my budget to fit it. But after multiple bombardments of emails saying I owed and now a physical letter showing i owe the amount i originally scheduled to be paid on May 26th, they are now charging interest on it. On June 19th, I wrote them a check for the original amount, minus interest, along with a letter of all that had happened and copies of prepayments. Also stated for that reason I do not feel I owe the interest either and was not going to pay that. I also enclosed my cut up shell card. This was the 19th and now on the 26th, they are saying they have not gotten it. What is wrong with these people? I have never been so frustrated with a credit card company like this one. I've got plenty of other cards I can use and it is not worth the aggravation to go thru just to use a shell Mastercard. read more
